Abstract

This research is motivated by the importance of peer interaction in the dynamics of student life in an academic environment. Social interactions between students not only serve as a means of providing emotional support but can also have negative impacts, manifesting in the form of bullying. The phenomenon of bullying in higher education has the potential to reduce psychological well-being and simultaneously hinder the smooth learning process. Based on these conditions, this study aims to examine in-depth the relationship and influence of peer group bullying on students' learning psychology. This study used a quantitative approach with a correlational design. Data collection was conducted through the distribution of an online Likert-scale questionnaire to 81 respondents, students of the Public Administration Study Program. The research instrument was designed to measure aspects of bullying, including physical, verbal, social, and mental dimensions, as well as aspects of learning psychology, including concentration, motivation, self-confidence, and mental readiness. Based on the data analysis, a relationship was found between peer group bullying and students' learning psychology, but the strength of this relationship was categorized as weak. Furthermore, statistical tests indicated that bullying did not have a significant direct impact on the learning psychology of the respondents in this study. These findings indicate that student learning psychology is a complex variable, not solely determined by peer interactions but also influenced by other internal and external factors, such as self-motivation, family support, and the overall academic climate.

Abstract

This research analyzes the obstacles and potential for the deployment of digitalized public services in Tambelang Village, South Touluaan District. A qualitative descriptive method was used, with data collected through interviews, observation, and documentation. Participants were selected purposive sampling from village officials and community members involved in public service delivery. The analysis refers to Indrajit's (2016) digital governance theory, which consists of three main dimensions: capacity, support, and value. The results indicate that digital service implementation in this village has not yet run optimally. The main obstacle is the lack of adequate infrastructure, particularly the absence of a stable internet network and frequent power outages that prevent communities from accessing digital services. In addition, low digital literacy among residents and limited technical skills of village staff cause manual methods to remain dominant in daily administrative practices. From the support dimension, policy commitment, training programs, and public socialization are still insufficient, even though village officials have shown a willingness to adopt digital systems. From the value dimension, digital services have great potential to accelerate administrative processes, expand public information access, and improve governance transparency. However, these benefits have not been fully realized due to existing infrastructure limitations. This study concludes that digital transformation in this village must be carried out gradually through infrastructure improvement, human resource development, and coordinated commitment from all stakeholders.

Abstract

Active student participation is an important indicator of learning quality because it reflects students’ willingness to engage in academic interaction, collaboration, and classroom activities. However, students’ participation is not only shaped by the learning environment but also by psychological and social conditions that influence their confidence and involvement. This study aims to analyze the effect of psychological factors on social factors that support students’ active participation in the academic environment. The study employed a quantitative approach with a causal associative design. The research sample consisted of 102 students selected using a simple random sampling technique. Data were collected through a structured questionnaire measuring psychological and social factors related to active participation. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, validity and reliability testing, and simple linear regression with SPSS version 26. The results show that all research instruments met the validity and reliability requirements, with Cronbach’s Alpha values exceeding 0.60. The regression analysis indicates that psychological factors have a positive and significant effect on social factors, as shown by a t-value of 21.232, a significance value of 0.000, and a coefficient of determination of 0.818. These findings indicate that psychological factors explain 81.8 percent of the variation in students’ social factors. Therefore, strengthening self-efficacy, confidence, motivation, and psychological readiness is essential for improving social interaction and encouraging students’ active participation in academic activities.

Abstract

Fisheries assistance programs constitute an important policy instrument to improve the welfare and economic resilience of small-scale fishermen. The effectiveness of these programs is essential to ensure that government interventions generate sustainable socioeconomic benefits for fishing communities. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the management of fishermen assistance programs implemented by the Department of Fisheries and Marine Affairs of Manado City in improving fishermen’s welfare. The study employed a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation involving government officials, program implementers, and fishermen as beneficiaries. Data analysis was conducted through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that the fishermen assistance program has been implemented continuously and has expanded its beneficiary coverage over time. The program has contributed to supporting fishing activities and improving access to production facilities. However, its effectiveness has not yet reached optimal levels due to several challenges, including inaccuracies in beneficiary targeting, limited technical assistance, low participation of fishermen in planning and evaluation processes, and monitoring mechanisms that remain focused on administrative compliance rather than program outcomes. These limitations reduce the program’s ability to generate sustainable welfare improvements. The study concludes that enhancing program effectiveness requires more accurate beneficiary data, strengthened capacity-building initiatives, participatory governance mechanisms, and impact-based evaluation systems. Program success depends not only on the quantity of assistance distributed but also on the quality of management, implementation, and stakeholder involvement.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze students’ interest in participating in student organizations (Himpunan Mahasiswa/HIMA) and identify the influencing factors using the Three Component Model of organizational commitment (affective, continuance, and normative). This research employs a descriptive quantitative approach with a sample of 90 students from the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Universitas Tidar, selected through incidental sampling. Data were collected using an online questionnaire with a Likert scale and analyzed using descriptive statistics and reliability testing with Cronbach’s Alpha. The results indicate that students’ interest in organizational participation is generally positive, as reflected in their agreement on various indicators such as enjoyment, organizational involvement, and perceived benefits in skill development. Internal factors such as motivation and self-confidence, as well as external factors such as organizational environment, communication, and program quality, influence participation levels. However, a considerable proportion of neutral responses suggests that organizational commitment is not yet fully optimal. Therefore, student organizations play a strategic role in developing soft skills, leadership, and career readiness, while requiring continuous improvement to enhance student participation. Student participation is influenced by internal and external factors. Internal factors include self-motivation, self-confidence, and the desire to gain new experiences. Meanwhile, external factors include the organizational environment, communication between members, peer support, and the quality of the organization's work programs. However, there were still neutral responses, indicating that student commitment to organizational participation is not yet optimal. Therefore, student organizations play a crucial role in developing students' soft skills, leadership skills, organizational experience, and future career readiness.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of work culture on the effectiveness of the performance of the Kramat Selatan Village apparatus in Magelang City. The study uses a quantitative approach, a causal associative research type. The study population consisted of 17 village apparatuses with a saturated sampling technique so that the entire population became respondents. Data collection was carried out through a questionnaire using a Likert scale and analyzed using SPSS. The results show that the work culture in the Kramat Selatan Village in Magelang City is in the good category. The majority of respondents gave a positive assessment of aspects of work independence, clarity of rules and procedures, leadership support, open communication, and encouragement of innovation within the organization. The effectiveness of the apparatus' performance is also in the good category as demonstrated by the ability to complete work effectively, increase work performance, adaptability, and responsive attitude to work changes. A conducive work culture also creates a more disciplined and cooperative work atmosphere and supports the creation of optimal public services for the community. These conditions indicate that the implementation of a good work culture can help apparatuses in improving service quality, strengthening work responsibilities, and creating more harmonious working relationships within the government organization environment. Research results show that a positive work culture can support increased effectiveness in the performance of civil servants in public service delivery. Therefore, strengthening work culture is carried out continuously through increasing coordination, discipline, and developing innovation in civil servant work.

Abstract

economy in Banten Province. Tourism has become an important driver of regional economic growth because it generates multiplier effects through employment creation, micro, small, and medium enterprise development, local product demand, and regional revenue generation. However, increasing tourist mobility after the pandemic has also created several challenges, including visitor concentration in particular destinations, environmental pressure, limited waste management capacity, and unstable community income caused by seasonal tourism patterns. This study employed a qualitative descriptive approach through a literature review of 30 scientific articles, consisting of 20 international and 10 national publications, supported by relevant policy documents. The analysis focused on tourism governance, local economic development, environmental sustainability, and community participation. The findings show that sustainable tourism development requires a shift from fragmented destination management towards collaborative governance based on the Pentahelix approach and Community-Based Tourism. Strengthening local supply chains, supporting micro, small, and medium enterprises, diversifying tourism products, and improving digital tourism services are important strategies for extending visitor stays and maintaining demand throughout the year. In addition, integrating Sustainable Development Goals principles, environmental carrying capacity, transparent destination governance, and local regulatory support is essential to protect ecosystems and ensure a more equitable distribution of tourism benefits. The study concludes that integrated, participatory, and environmentally responsible tourism policy is necessary to strengthen regional economic resilience and sustainability in Banten Province.

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of competency-based job training policy as an instrument for reducing unemployment in Banten Province. The study employed a qualitative descriptive approach using secondary data from Statistics Indonesia, government regulations, official reports, scholarly publications, and relevant labour-market literature. Policy implementation was analysed using the Context, Input, Process, and Product evaluation framework, with emphasis on programme relevance, institutional capacity, resource availability, implementation processes, and expected employment outcomes. The findings indicate that competency-based job training has a strategic role in improving workforce capability by developing skills that correspond to labour-market and industrial needs. The implementation of the policy is supported by the availability of training institutions, funding allocation, certified instructors, competency-based curricula, training facilities, and collaboration between government agencies and business and industrial sectors. Nevertheless, the programme faces several constraints, including unequal access to training, limited digital literacy among prospective participants, uneven quality of facilities, insufficient industry involvement, and monitoring and evaluation mechanisms that have not fully measured post-training employment outcomes. These conditions may reduce programme effectiveness in connecting graduates with employment opportunities. The study concludes that competency-based job training requires stronger institutional coordination, demand-driven curriculum development, improved instructor and facility quality, integrated labour-market information, and expanded industry partnerships. These measures are necessary to improve programme relevance, strengthen workforce competitiveness, and support more sustainable unemployment reduction in Banten Province.

Abstract

Climate change has encouraged the Indonesian Government to implement the Climate Village Program (ProKlim) as a community-based policy for climate change adaptation and mitigation. This study aims to analyse the implementation of ProKlim in Margagiri Village, which has received the ProKlim Utama designation. The study employed a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and document review involving village officials, programme implementers, community members, and related stakeholders. Data were analysed using the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña, consisting of data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing. Data validity was ensured through source triangulation, technique triangulation, and member checking. The analysis used the policy implementation model of Van Meter and Van Horn, covering policy standards and objectives, resources, characteristics of implementing agencies, implementers’ disposition, inter-organisational communication, and the social, economic, and political environment. The findings indicate that ProKlim implementation in Margagiri Village has generally progressed well, supported by clear programme objectives, funding from the regional budget, corporate social responsibility, and community contributions, as well as positive commitment among implementers. Nevertheless, several obstacles remain, including limited personnel, uneven community participation, overlapping roles among programme managers, underutilised public green spaces, limited academic involvement, and unequal access to information for women. The study recommends strengthening managerial capacity, optimising household yard utilisation, expanding collaboration with universities and companies, and ensuring women’s meaningful participation in programme planning and decision-making.

Abstract

The rapid growth of the beauty industry has intensified competition among skincare brands, requiring companies to develop communication and promotional strategies that effectively influence consumer purchase intention. Educational content can help consumers understand product benefits, ingredients, usage, and suitability, while discount promotions may create additional economic value and encourage purchasing decisions. This study aims to examine the partial and simultaneous effects of educational content quality and discount promotion on consumers’ purchase intention toward Glad2Glow products in East Jakarta. The study employed a quantitative approach with a descriptive and causal research design using a survey method. The research population consisted of Glad2Glow product users residing in the Administrative City of East Jakarta. Respondents were selected through simple random sampling, providing each member of the population with an equal opportunity to participate. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire and analyzed through multiple linear regression with the support of statistical software. Hypothesis testing involved the coefficient of determination, partial significance test, and simultaneous significance test. The findings indicate that educational content quality has a positive and significant effect on consumers’ purchase intention. Discount promotion also has a positive and significant effect on purchase intention. Simultaneously, educational content quality and discount promotion significantly influence consumers’ intention to purchase Glad2Glow products. These findings suggest that informative, credible, and relevant educational content, combined with attractive discount strategies, can strengthen consumer interest and improve Glad2Glow’s competitiveness in the beauty market.
