Abstract

Kajian ini mengungkapkan studi bibliometrik publikasi jurnal online di Indonesia, terbatas pada jurnal tertentu, periode dan sumber data dasar. Bertolak dari penelitian terdahulu yang hanya mengkaji pada satu jurnal saja, maka Peneliti melakukan kajian dalam ruang lingkup yang melibatkan jurnal yang tergabung dalam database Garuda kemendikbud, dengan periode publikasi tahun 2018-2022 dan diperoleh data sebanyak 44 jurnal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perkembangan penelitian di bidang Perpustakaan dan Informasi. Penelitian ini berfokus pada pertanyaan penelitian berikut yaitu bagaimana produktivitas, kolaborasi, dan dampak publikasi kutipan pada jurnal kepustakawanan yang tergabung dalam database Garuda Kemendikbud sebagai Garda Rujukan Digital. Analisis bibliometrik pada penelitian ini secara deskriptif kuantitatif mengukur perkembangan publikasi artikel ilmiah Perpustakaan dan Informasi yang tergabung dalam database Garuda Kemendikbud. Dari hasil analisis diperoleh hasil, jumlah publikasi paper pada periode ditentukan berjumlah 2824 paper. Jurnal yang paling produktif pada periode 2018–2022, merupakan publikasi dari jurnal perpustakaan Universitas Diponegoro, Anuva: Jurnal Kajian Budaya, Perpustakaan dan Informasi sebanyak 229 paper (n=229) dengan persentase (8,11%). Analisis lebih lanjut dari data mengungkapkan bahwa penulis dengan jumlah kutipan teratas oleh Ana Irhandayani penulis tunggal dengan jumlah kutipan 141 kali pada publikasi artikel jurnal di tahun 2020. Kemudian berada di puncak urutan kedua penulis Heriyanto sebagai penulis tunggal dengan publikasi jurnal tahun 2018. Tinjauan literatur mengungkapkan beberapa studi bibliometrik yang dilakukan pada Jurnal Perpustakaan dan Informasi dengan ruang lingkup terbatas mengenai database sumber, periode yang dicakup dan domain. Studi ini mengungkapkan jurnal paling produktif dan dampak kutipan penulis, dengan penyebaran tren subjek di bawah payung penelitian perpustakaan dan informasi mengalami peningkatan

Abstract

Kemajuan teknologi mengakibatkan adanya perubahan dalam pengelolaan dan pelayanan perpustakaan. Pada saat ini hampir seluruh perpustakaan melakukan layanan dengan menggunakan sistem otomasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana penggunaan aplikasi SLiMS dalam menunjang tugas-tugas pustakawan pada perpustakaan Universitas Bengkulu. Metode penelitian menggunakan deskkriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Data dalam penelitian diperoleh dengan teknik Snowball Sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori Usability. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan aplikasi SliMS sudah cukup baik dan aplikasi SLiMS berhasil berperan penting dalam menunjang tugas-tugas pustakawan. Fitur bibliografi, sirkulasi, keanggotan, OPAC, dan layanan visitor sudah merasakan manfaat dari fitur-fitur yang disediakan oleh sistem aplikasi. Manfaat yang dirasakan seperti kemampuan performa untuk bekerja lebih cepat. Namun Penggunaan Aplikasi SliMS masih memiliki kendala seperti eror pada saat aplikasi dijalankan, fitur bibliografi, fitur sirkulasi, sistem pada server SLiMS.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Analysis of Jogja Library Center's Collection Management Strategy in Dealing with the Information Society aims to review what strategies must be used in order to continue to grow in the era of the information society. This research uses qualitative methods with a descriptive approach through field research methods. Research data were obtained from interviews with informants, literature reviews, and documentation. This study found that the Jogja Library Center collection management strategy owned by the DPAD DIY Library Service Center was able to adapt by utilizing technology. This study was reviewed with SOSTAC theory (Situation Analysis, Objectives, Strategy, Tactics, Actions, Control). The results of the research show that Jogja Library Center has subscribed to electronic collections while also continuing to subscribe to printed collections. Jogja Library Center has also digitized the collection of old newspapers and magazines whose physical condition is no longer possible to be read directly by users. Jogja Library Center also conducts various collection collaborations in order to be able to meet the needs of the information community. Abstract

An information retrieval system is a system capable of storing, searching, and maintaining various types of information in various formats. The function this information retrieval system is then applied to the existing retrieval services in library. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of network collaboration carried ot by the library as an optimization of teh information retrieval services provided. The research method uses a quaitative method with a descriptive approach, and the data collection method uses observation activities , interview, and informants who are IT staff of the Bengkulu University Library. Data analysis was carried out through data reduction, data renderig, and drawing conclusions. The results of teh study show that network collaboration with OPAC applications that are applied to information retrieval services is optimal and effective for librarians and users.

Abstract

The Faculty of Social and Political Sciences at the University of Bengkulu established a Faculty Reading Room (Library) so that students can use it to look for references appropriate to their field of knowledge. The Faculty of Social and Political Sciences Library has circulation services and reference services with various collections available. This library is a special library, but this library applies an open service system, namely students are allowed to search for or take the library materials they need by themselves. This research aims to find out how useful the FISIP Reading Room (Library) is in meeting the information needs of FISIP students. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive research type. The research results showed that the FISIP Reading Room (Library) was quite good and very useful in meeting the information needs of library users, especially fulfilling information for FISIP students. The FISIP Reading Room (Library) really helps students in obtaining information about lectures and fulfilling reference information for students who are preparing their final assignments. Abstract

This research aims to find out how the Lentera village library contributes to empowering the creative economy of the North Bengkulu Seaside Village community. This research uses a qualitative research method with a case study approach. The research subject is the Lantera Library of Tepi Laut Village, Air Napal District, North Bengkulu Regency, which facilitates the community, especially PKK women, to make creative economy handicrafts. Meanwhile, the object of this research is the thing that will be studied, namely the contribution of the Lantera Village library in empowering the creative economy of the people of North Bengkulu Seaside Village. Based on the research results, it was found that the Lentera Village Library has a role in the creative economy, namely by providing training regarding skilled and creative (Tertif), such as skilled and creative Handycraft and skilled and creative culinary. These skills can be in the form of: (1) Crafts of Making Flowers from Used Items; (2) Bead-rolling skills; (3) Gold thread embroidery skills; (4) Skills in making piggy banks from used cans; (5) Skills in making typical Bengkulu by tat cakes. The Tepi Laut Village Library also helps in empowering the people in the Tepi Laut Village who initially did not understand how to make crafts until the products could finally be sold, as well as people who did not understand how to market products, to understand how to market products to a wide market reach.

Abstract

This research tries to analyze the effectiveness of the @Unibinfo Instagram account in seeking information literacy for Bengkulu University students. Based on this research, the method used is a quantitative method. The data collection technique used by researchers is a questionnaire. Data analysis in this research includes data reduction, data presentation using Excel. Social media can now be used as a source of information literacy, especially at the State University level. One form of information literacy media at the Bengkulu university level is the @Unibinfo Instagram media account. One form of implementation is by sharing information content at the university. both from the academic field (student registration, student scholarships, UKT payment procedures, etc.) and general information such as information about lost motorbikes on campus. This information is not only published with video or photo content but also provides a narrative of the event in the caption or information on the announcement letter. text turned into a photo. The results of this research show that the @Unibinfo Social Media Account has proven to be quite good at meeting students' needs in increasing information literacy. Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this study to describe library innovation in an effort to provide excellent service to users at UPT Library Universitas Bengkulu This research uses qualitative descriptive research methods. The research subjects who became the source of data reference were the head of the library, librarians, and other staff in the library of Bengkulu University. Data collection techniques used are through interviews, observations, and document studies. Data analysis steps through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing or verification. The results of this study show that the criteria for the application of the management information system of the University of Bengkulu Library are using the SLiMS application (Senayan Library Management System) seen from all feasibility aspects both technically, operationally and economically feasible to be applied. According to the criteria of the management information system, the socialization and implementation of the system is good. This is evidenced by the results of data collection that has been carried out by the author from interviews, observations and documentation studies showing that the overall dimensions of management information system criteria have been very good in their application, because the management information system in the SLiMS application is available in the library, the Slims application menu feature is fairly easy to understand, and easily accessible. Before being implemented, pre-socialization has been held for the IT team as well as and librarians at Bengkulu University. The application of SLiMS is very helpful in efforts to effectively serve in libraries. In the application feature, the menu is adjusted to the needs in the library. The application of SLiMS plays an important role in improving the quality of learning and streamlining the performance of librarians. Evaluation of SLiMS applications is carried out continuously by obtaining feedback from users. The obstacles experienced are librarians who are accustomed to using manual systems and hardware limitations have found effective and efficient solutions. Based on the conclusions described above, suggestions for libraries that implement the SLiMS program are as follows; The Head of Library as a policy holder as well as an innovator must always strive to update technological developments and innovate, especially in terms of utilizing network-based institutional information systems so that they always become agile organizations. Network-based information systems applied in libraries must be evaluated in their application, evaluations carried out are not only limited to programs or applications that are being used but also include the entire hardware and internet network used by the institution. It is expected that the research conducted will be able to answer questions about service innovation at UPT Library of Bengkulu University and can be a reference for taking action or solution to the problem at hand. Abstract

Tujuan penulisan ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan urgensinya implementasi kode etik pustakawan di Era Digital. Metode penelitian ini adalah kajian literatur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Urgensi implementasi kode etik pustakawan di era digital sangat penting mengingat transformasi besar-besaran yang terjadi dalam cara informasi diakses, disimpan, dan disebarluaskan. Ada beberapa alasan mengapa implementasi kode etik pustakawan di era digital sangat urgen untuk dilakukan, yaitu: 1) perlindungan data pribadi; 2) Kepercayaan dan integritas. Kode etik membantu menjaga kepercayaan masyarakat terhadap profesi pustakawan; 3) Pengelolaan Informasi yang Adil dan Netral. Pustakawan memiliki tanggung jawab untuk memberikan akses yang adil dan netral terhadap informasi, tanpa memihak atau membatasi akses berdasarkan pandangan pribadi atau kepentingan tertentu; 4) Perlindungan Hak Cipta dan Ketersediaan Informasi. Kode etik pustakawan membantu memastikan bahwa hak cipta dihormati dan bahwa informasi disediakan secara adil dan legal; dan 5) Adaptasi terhadap Perubahan Teknologi. Era digital membawa perubahan teknologi yang cepat dan berkelanjutan. Dengan menerapkan kode etik yang kuat dan relevan dengan era digital, pustakawan dapat memainkan peran yang penting dalam mengelola dan memberikan akses yang andal terhadap informasi di dunia yang semakin terhubung dan kompleks ini.

Abstract

Presidential election and demographic bonus are two words that are closely related today. The presidential election which will take place on February 14 2024 will elect the president for the 2024-2029 term. Meanwhile, according to several organizations such as BPS and Bappenas, the demographic bonus will reach its peak in 2030 and end in 2040. At the population level ahead of the election, there will be demographic changes marked by an increase in the number of young voters (Generation Z and millennials) who are older. between 17 to 39 years. CSIS estimates that the number of young voters in the next election will reach 60% of the total electorate. The 2024 presidential election could be said to be the driving force or last opportunity for the Indonesian nation before entering the peak of its demographic opportunities. Approaching the 2024 election, especially during the campaign period, the spread of fake news (hoaxes) and misinformation is expected to increase. This can lead to increased polarization of society due to the unhealthy and irresponsible actions of several political interests. Implementing a good digital political culture is important for the current and future conditions of Indonesian society and young generations.
