Abstract

ABSTRACTMareta Damalang. Sago Processing Contribution to the Family Income in Tola Village NortTabukan sub District, Under guardance of Th. M. Katiandagho as a Chairman, T. Lolowang and J. Timban as Members.The Objective of this research is to determine contribution of sago processing to the family income in Tola Village northenTabukan district.This study use survey method The data used are primary data and secondary data. Primary data is obtained by direct interviews with farmer and analyzed descriptively, and secondary data is obtained from related institution.The result of this research showed that the contribution of sago processing to the family incomewas 75,00 %, other income (Civil Servants, construction, workers, drivers) was 17,67 % , coconut and nutmea farm income was 21,97 %The conclusion of this research result is sago processing still dominant compared to the other business.

Rengkung as members.The objective of this research is to know the mix of crop farming anddetermine farm in come mix plant the manumpitaeng village, manganitu subdistrict, Sangihe Island Regency.Data connected in this study is primary data and secondary data.Determining the sample of the research is conducted by purposive randomsampling which is based on a mixed crop farming that are already production.Sample used in this research is 9 people. Data in the study were analyzeddescriptively where the data collected is presented in tabular from and todetermine whether a mix crop farming is profitable or not by using R/C ratio farmin come mix plant, in village Manumpitaeng. Manganitu District, Sangihearchipelago district of the analysis return cost ratio (R/C) as a whole is greaterthan one that was 1,83 it means that the income earned in a single productionprocess is beneficial.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis research has been purposed to describe the effectiveness of Savings and Loans For Woman Group Activity (SPP) in Kauditan Subdistrict North of Minahasa Regency on 2012-2013. The benefit of this research is to provide information about the effectiveness of activity operated by saving and loans for woman group in Kauditan Subdistrict North of Minahasa Regency and to give an information to those who need that information.Data collected are primary data and secondary data. The primary data was obtained by distributing questionnaires to respondents and the secondary data was obtained from the institutions associated with this research. The sampling method was done by "cluster sampling". The selected respondents were all members of savings and loans for woman group. The total sample is 30 members of savings and loans special for woman group.The results of this research showed that the effectiveness of savings and loans for woman group activity in Subdistrict Kauditan relatively effective with a percentage of 93%. It means that all members of the group used the funds for productive activities by adding capital to business in order to further develop the business.

Abstract

ABSTRACTDianne Jilly Fioline Pongoh. Efficiency Use Of Production Factor in Rice Farming in Tondangow Village South Tomohon Sub District. Under the guidance of Esry O. H. Laoh as Chairman; Gene H. M. Kapantow and Celsius Talumingan as a Members.The objective of this research is to analyze the efficiency of production factors in rice farming. This study was conducted from November 2013 until January 2014. Primary and secondary data were used in this research. The primary data were obtained directly from respondents by using questionnaires. The secondary data were obtained from related institutions. Respondents were selected by using Simple Random Sampling method. The total samples are 20 members of rice farmers. Data were analyzed using the multiple regression analysis based on the Cobb Douglas model.The analysis showed that technically, the use of urea, phonska, and pesticides were efficient, whereas the use of labor has not efficient yet and the use of seeds has not efficient anymore. Allocatively, the use of urea, phonska and labor has not efficient yet, whereas the use of seeds and pesticides has not efficient anymore. Economically, all product factor analysis in this study (seeds, urea, phonska, pesticides and labor) weren’t efficient yet.

Abstract

ABSTRACTPapaya ( Carica papaya L ) is a fruit that comes from the tropical regions of the Americas that werethen distributed to various places by the Portuguese and Spanish, including India and other tropicalcountry. This research aims to study the mechanical failure vibration style fruit such as papaya, bruises,abrasions and scratches during transport of the simulation process. And to study the changes in color andhardness levels papaya fruit after 3 days of storage. The first phase of the research observes andmechanical damage by observing the appearance of the fruit papaya fruit surface abrasions and bruisesas a result of the transport simulation. after 3 days of storage of papaya fruit appearance began tomalfunction which can no longer be consumed by consumers. Papaya fruit texture changes beforesimulation on the green mature namely: 7.26 kg/cm2, the half-baked 4.5 kg/cm2, while the cook full 1.9kg/cm2. After 3 days of storage the texture of ripe green papaya decreased hardness is 4.26 kg/cm2, halfcook 2.33 kg/cm2 and 1.45 kg/cm2 fully ripe. Discoloration on papaya fruit increased after 3 days ofstorage, the green ripe 40.82 (+) half- ripe 48.37 (+) and fully ripe 57.89 (+). While vibration for 15minutes resulted in a full ripe papaya fruit suffered abrasions, bruises nearly all papaya fruit surface .Keywords : Papaya fruit, mechanical damage, the amount of vibration .

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe objective of this research is to determine the effect of social change especially attitudes and social values, for the increasing Idle land in the village of Tombasian Atas Kawangkoan West Subdistrict.Data collection was conducted for three months, since January 2014 until March 2014. Data obtained are primary and secondary data. The primary data obtained through the survey directly to the owners of idle land in the "Tombasian Atas" village, West Kawangkoan Subdistrict. Secondary data obtained through the government of "Tombasian Atas" Village. Sampling used "Census Method", where the entire population was investigated without exception. A Likert scale analysis are using to determine the effect of social change, especially for the attitudes.The results showed that the influences of social change on Idle land in "Tombasian Atas" village, West Kawangkoan Subdistrict are high based on the attitudes and sosial values of landowners.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe objective of this study is to determine the raw materials inventory analysis of agro-industrial products soy milk and tofu chinese in Taas banjer (case study UD Kembang Tahu).Data collection was conducted for two months, from February to March, 2014. Data obtained ware primary and secondary data. The primary data obtained through the survey directly to the owner of the company UD. Kembang Tahu in Taas Banjer. Secondary data was obtained through company data, previous literature-literature and through the internet. Data analysis method used was the method of "Economic Order Quantity" to know and determine the order quantity of inventory that can minimize inventory storage costs and expenses directly opposite (inversecost) ordering supplies.The results showed that the company still can minimize inventory costs contained in UD. Kembang Tahu because the company had not yet knowing better inventory control management.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe objective of this research is to compare rice farmer income between participant and nonparticipant at Agro Commodity Auction Market in Kiniar, East Tondano District, Minahasa Regency.The data have been collected for four months, since September 2013 until January 2014. The data consist of Primary and Secondary data. The primary data have been earned from survey to the farmers, participant and nonparticipant directly. The secondary data have been earned from all of the institutions that related with this research.The sampling has been done by using simple random sampling technique, where 15 samples for each population were taken to find out the difference between their incomes, so that we can compare them, with t-test.The result from this research showed that the income between farmer as participant and nonparticipant at Agro Commodity Auction Market ware different. The income average of rice farmer in Kiniar as participant is higher than the income average of rice farmer as nonparticipant at Agro Commodity Auction Market.

Abstract

ABSTRACTGabriela Hana Kaawoan. Evaluation Of Agribusines Development Program in Kalawat District North Minahasa Regency. Under Guidiance Celcius Talumingan as Chairman, Tommy Lolowang and Lyndon Pangemanan as members.The objective of this research is to evaluate. PUAP Program in Kalawat sub district Minahasa regency based on the contex, input, procces, product. That was used in this research is purposive sampling method. Data used in this research was primary and secondary data. Primary data were collected by interviewing members and farmes group and GAPOKTAN management in 5 villages that accept PUAP program in Kalawat sub district and secondary data were collected from institutions that related with this research. Analysis in this research was descriptive with CIPP method, tabulation and scoring analysis. Revenue and cost of farmer was used to cost farmer’s incomeThe research result showed that for PUAP program based on the context, agent of extension and institutions that related with the research obtained high interpretation with index 100%. It can be proved from agriculture industries that improve, good response from farmes to this program the readiness of extension agent to improve agribusines industry in village through socialization and farmers group activity, agent of extension couwel PUAP programe farmers roufinely, and government strategy to make PUAP program success, based an input aspect of PUAP program to evaluation to farmer, investigation and related institution get high on average, but there was a statement that get low interpretation with index 67,2% that was farmes altitude awy, less capital in starting their business, capital the was used was their our capital and the business hasn’t improved yet. Seen from process aspect that PUAP programe evaluation in farmers investigator and institution that related get high average. However there was a low interpretation with 67,2% index that was the attitude of farmer before this PUAP program.This attitude was the farmer was less motivated, less capital in running the business so that the business was less developed. From the process aspect, evaluation of PUAP program to farmer, agent of extension and institution obtained high result on average. However, the obstacle was the return of loan capital was not running well. From the product aspect, the PUAP evaluation on farmer, agent of extension and institution obtansl high result with 100 index. This can be seen raised from farmers income increase that they before Rp 1.637.551/Ha and after PUAP the income rate raised become Rp 3.357.524/Ha von average farmers start new business land raise, and production improves, due to GAPOKTAN went well cording rules and could improve well through. GAPOKTAN manager over all PUAP evaluation program to farmers through CIPP evaluation got 87.6%, to agent of extension through CIPP evaluation 99,1% and to related instituation got 97,1%.5Even the overall the interpretation was high, but in return of capital had not gone well, acompanion of agent of extens maximum to farmers and observation of agriculture department directly had not done routinely.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe study aims to determined factors that influence the interests of farmer in rice farming in the Sendangan Village and to determine the influence of each factors on interets of rice farmer.The data used is primary data collected from 36 farmers using a questionnaire that had been developed . The analysis used in this study is a multiple linear regression analysis , using the SPSS 16 software tools . Secondary data obtained from agencies associated with this research that the Central Bureau of Statistics and the Office of the District of North Sulawesi Kakas .The results showed that there were factors the interests of farmers are land area, experience, income, and education assistance. Land area and income very significant effect on the interest of farmers. While the assistance and experience significant effect on the interest, education influence otherwise no significant effect on the interest. With the value of the contribution of determination R2 are the factors affecting land use, experience, income, and education of 72%.
