Abstract

ABSTRACT  The purpose of this research is to identify the strenght, weakness, opportunity and threat factor in chocolate processing industrial in cacao seeds basis development agro-industry and how the development agroindustri strategy of cacao seeds in research area. Data collecti for four months starting from november until march 2015. The data used is primary and secondary data, primary data were obtained through abservation and through direct interview with respondents, namely, cacao farmers, cacao seeds collector, manager and workers and industrial agency. And secondary data were obtained through literature study such as books, journals, internet and relevant agencies. The data analysis with SWOT analysis.  From the research result was obtained: (1) result of internal enviroment analysis shows that there are five strenght factors namely, the availability of lots of cheap local labor, good skils in labors, tools and strategic location and using a high tecnology. Internal enviroment also has five weakness factor namely, there’s a lot of untrained labors, total production depends on demand, does not have certrificated for the products and not yet marketed, lack of capital and lack of industrial partnership with other agencies. The result of external enviroment analysis shows that there’s five factors can become an opportunity namely, there is no similiar efforts around the site/location, Bolaang Mongondow is a cacao producers as the main ingredient, there’s a support from the goverment, numbers of population keep increasing and a shopping lifestyle, availability of electricity, good infrastructure and communication. External enviroment also have four threat factors. Namely, increase prices of main ingredient, minimal help and support given, rivality with other products with the same main ingredient and threat of a new comer. (2) strategy of development cacao basis agroindustry is agressive strategy. Namely, keeping up the strenght to overcome the weakness inside it and also has opportunity and strenght to develop, like producing continously, taking advantage of technology to increase additional prices to cacao seeds, taking advantage from the regency government, facilities and infrastructure to promote various products, inventing a new variation, doing partnership with financial institution to increase funds and assets, gain a halal label, increase partnership in work, improve products quality and additional variations in order to facing competition, optimising the productions and to fasten the streamline of the products facility to overcome the impact of raising funds for productions and also to obtain a product certrificated and agressively doing promotions in order to reach easiness of marketing and inviting investors.     Keywords : Strategy, Agroindustry

Abstract

ABSTRACT CHRYSTIAWAN ADJIE SENGKA. Labor Sectoral Analysis At Tomohon. Under the guidance (Juliana R. Mandei as Chairman, Lyndon R. J. Pangemanan and Maya H. Montolalu as Members.) This study aims to determine the growth rate of the labor sector and to determine the relation between economic growth (GDP) and employment rates to Tomohon. This research wasconducted for four months from December 2014 to March 2015 in Tomohon. In this study, the data used is secondary data obtained from the relevant agencies, namely the office of the Central Statistics Agency in Tomohon. The data is processed using descriptive analysis and presented in the from of tables and graphs. These result indicate that the potential sectors listed in Tomohon are very good in supporting regional economic growth and the growth rate of labor. More specifically in the services sector in Tomohon which has very high potential in employment. The growth rate of labor in Tomohon in 5-year period (2009-2013) has increased. In percentage of labor force growth rate and percentage rate of economic growth (GDP) each year for 5 years from 2009-2013 employment growth rate amounted to 10,17 percent, while the rate of economic growth (GDP) amounted to 10,02 percent. It can be seen that employment elasticity of 1,01 in which the figure is greater than 1 (>1), means that if the amount of GDP increased 1 %, the number of workers absorbed is equal to 1,01 %. Thus, is a relation between economic growth (GDP) and employment. Keyword : Labor and Economic sectors

Abstract

Evaluation of Nutmeg Fruit Meat Processing Business (Case Study Nutmeg Fruit Meat Processing Business in the village Karegesan Kauditan District of North Minahasa Regency) (under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Ir. Jen Tatuh, MS as a Chairman, Dr. Rine Kaunang, SP., MBA and Ir. Vicky R.B Moniaga, MSi as Members).  The aimed of this study to evaluate feasibility of various aspect from Nutmeg Business in Karegesan village. Data collected for seven months, from June 2014 through December 2014. The data obtained are primary and secondary data. Primary data were obtained from interviews with the owner of Nutmeg Fruit Meat Processing Business  in Karegesan village, and secondary data obtained through the literature related to the nutmeg processing business. The method is carried out to analyze the feasibility investment by measuring the Net Present Value, Internal Rate of Return and Net Benefit / Cost. Based on the results of research and discussion, it can be concluded from the various aspects of this business is feasible to run. It can be seen from the Net Present Value which reached a positive value (IDR 1.427.565.679,00), Internal Rate of Return of 1,84%, and Net Benefit / Cost at 17,2.  Keywords: Feasible Study, Nutmeg

Abstract

This study aims to determine the incidence of disease diagnosis and plant pests on crops peanut held in Minahasa District, in the district of the village Kawangkoan Kanonang, villages and rural Kiawa Tombasian. In the District of Sonder held in the village Leilem I, villages and rural Talikuran Leilem II, which took place during the months of September to December 2013. The study continued in the Laboratory of Microbiology and Plant Pathology, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Sam Ratulangi to observe microscopic plant pests that cause disease in plants peanuts. The method used is a survey method by determining the location and observation blocks. Location observation peanut farmer's crop in the district and sub-district Kawangkoan Sonder. Each village in each district specified area is used as an observation area, which is 10m x 20m which is divided into five sub-plot of the observations in the form of diagonal slices. Observations plant started in germination phase performed 4 times at intervals of one week. Plants showing symptoms of the disease-causing Aspergillus flavus which can be seen on the trunk of peanut plants were starting to rot and colored black and attack the plant until it withered and stunted. Pathogens infect the plant at the time of germination. The incidence of plant pests on crop diseases peanut in Minahasa highest average occurred in the village Kanonang with an average of 8.49%, Kiawa village with an average of 7.70% later in the village Leilem I with an average of 7.54 %, on average Tombasian villages of 7.31%, with an average Talikuran 7.21 and terenda with an average 6.73%. The incidence of plant pests diseases in the district and sub-district Kawangkoan Sonder at all observation sites every week by plant pests incidence of disease caused by the fungal pathogen is with an average of 8.49% and a low of 6.73% attack.

ABSTRACT  Yunetris Sarendaren. Analysis of Consumer Satisfaction Of Bulk Cooking Oil Consumption In Pinasungkulan Market Karombasan Manado (under the guidance of Dr. Ir. Leonardus R. Rengkung, ME as a Chairman, Ir. Joachim Dumais, ME as a Member, Ir. Vicky R.B Moniaga, MSi as Members).  The objective of this research is to determine the level of customer satisfaction of the cooking oil products in the city of Manado in terms of price, product, location and service in Pinasungkulan Market Karombasan Manado. Data collection was conducted for 3 months from January to March 2015. The data used in this study were primary data and secondary data. Primary data were obtained by using questionnaire to respondent. Secondary data was collected from all business owners/store cooking oil involved in this study that were the traders in the Pinasungkulan Market Karombasan Manado.  The research result showed that the price and products offered by 13 stores around the Pinasungkulan Market Karombasan Manado is affordable therefore the public or consumers are satisfied with the price of cooking oil and product sold in the market. On the other side the place and service of Pinasungkulan Market Karombasan Manado were still needed to improved.  Keyword : Cooking Oil Consumption, and level of satisfaction

Abstract

ABSTRACT WINDA DESITHA KALITOUW. Economic Valuation of Mangrove Forets in the Tiwoho Village, Wori District, North Minahasa Regency. Under guidance of  Ribka M. Kumaat. , Lyndon R. J. Pangemanan and Paulus A. Pangemanan. This study aims to determine how big the value of the total economic benefits of mangrove forest in the Tiwoho Village of Wori District North Minahasa Regency, by using the concept of economic valuation to calculate the value of the benefits of natural resources which exist. The research was conducted in January to March 2015, by conducting field observations and interviews directly to the community and local government. Based on the results obtained that indicate the area of mangrove forest ecosystems Tiwoho Village with a broad ±62,502 ha, have total value of economic benefits amounted Rp. 2.316.961.823/year with the largest contributor to the value of benefits is from the value of indirect benefits that is the value of the benefits of mangrove forests as a buffer abrasion or sea water waves. The total value of economic benefits can be used as a reference or basic comparison for the community and the government in determining the policy management and utilization of existing mangrove forests.   Keyword : valuation economic, mangrove forest ecosystems, benefits value

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the Rice Inventory Management at PT. Semarak in Bitung and Analysis of Rice Inventory at PT. Semarak in Bitung. This research was conducted during the month of March 2015 in Bitung. In this study, the data used is  primary data from interviews with head Of Warehouse and secondary data from PT. Semarak Company in Manado.  Data is processed using by Economic Order Quantity method. The survey results revealed that Inventory Management at PT. Semarak Warehouse in bitung still not yet efficient, as well as the ordering cost is not yet economical, this is shown by the inventory cost the company more than the results of the analysis using by Economic Order Quantity method with ordering optimal rice every time a order by Economic Order Quantity method is 4.700 sack with total inventory cost economical is Rp. 54.411.370,-. Abstract

ABSTRACT  Ayu Azhari Amin. Role of Manufacturing Sector on the Economy and Labor Absorption in North Sulawesi (under the guidance of Grace A.J. Rumagit as chairman, and Theodora M. Katiandagho as a member).  This study aimed to analyze the role of the manufacturing sector to the economy and employment in the province of North Sulawesi.  This research was conducted for three months from February 2015 to April 2015 in the province of North Sulawesi, the data used in this research is secondary data obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics North Sulawesi.  This analysis using Location Quotient (LQ), Multiplier Share (MS), and the elasticity of labor, using variabe GDP and total employment. These results indicate that the role of the manufacturing sector to the economy in North Sulawesi are relatively stable from year to year, and in terms of the manufacturing sector GDP including the non bases. For that, we need further research to determine the factors forming GDP besides labor, which could boost the manufacturing sector GDP. Meanwhile, the role of the manufacturing sector on employment in the province of North Sulawesi is still relatively small and tend to be stable each year. Pakasi, SP., MSi, Melissa Tarore, SP., MSi as members.  This study aims to evaluate the implementation of the program Urban PNPM development in the Paudean Village,South Lembeh Bitung District, basedon Context, Input, Process and Product. The method used in this research is purposive sampling method.  Data collection has been done for 3months since February toApril2015.The data used inthis studyare primary data and secondary data. Primary data were obtained using a list of questions to respondents. Secondary data were obtained fromt he board PNPM Urban and agencies associated with this research,which is Paudean village office.  The results showed that the evaluation of the implementation of development activities rebate road, drainage and revolving fund are running according with thep lanof development that wouldimpact on boththe environmentandsociety. Abstract

ABSTRACT  Magdalena Elisabeth Angeline. Relationship Green Marketing with consument choice ( Case study on the body shop manado ) under the guidance of  Charles R. Ngangi,  as Chairman , Esry H. Laoh and, Mex L Sondakh,MSi as Members.  The study aims to determine the relationship of green marketing with consumers choice in the Body Shop Manado. Data collection is done for 4 months from September 2014 until January 2015. The data that used in this study are primary data and secondary data. Primary data obtained by distributing questionairs to consumers The Body Shop Manado as well as interviews with the parties Manado The Body Shop. Secondary data obtained from the literature related to green marketing. The results of  this study indicate that there is a relationship between green marketing with consumer choice. Where by pursuing a strategy of  green marketing on the business activities carried out by The Bod y Shop Manado like her doing things green product, green promotion, green price, and green place can give effect to the increase. Of the increase in positive perception of costumers on the importance of using green products lead to changes in their behaviour. It can be proved on the second enhacement indicator that as many as 79,25% of  respondents are willing to build more for environmentally friendly green products in terms of promotions, The Body Shop Manado already well positioned company, as evidenced by the increased of the 15th  that as many as 86,25% respondents believe that they liked the promotion of  The Body Shop Manado who use public relations program because it is considered more exclusive that the other brands. The main implications is The Body Shop Manado should pay attention to the quality aspect to offset the high prices and women  as it‟s main market. Keyword : green marketing, and consumers choice
