Abstract

The objectve of this research is to know the marketing mix on “dodolsalak UD. Mandiri "Pangu Village, Ratahan Timur District, Southeast Minahasa Regency. This research was conducted from October to April 2019. The data used in this study are primary data and secondary data. The method of data collection is done by survey method. The sampling technique is done by using accidental sampling. The number of respondents is 20 people. Data collection use interview tehnique and the measuring instrument used is the Likert Scale. Data analysis was carried out descriptively. The results showed that the index numbers in the marketing mix strategy  UD. Mandiri obtained for the average rating of respondents in the product aspect was 85.8%, the price aspect was 88%, the aspect of the place was 78.5% and the promotion aspect was 73% so that the overall rating of respondents was in the good category.Keywords: Marketing mix, dodol salak UD Mandiri, Skala Likert

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the income distribution of clove farmers in Tangkunei Village. The data used in this study were primary and secondary data. Primary data were obtained through direct interviews using questionnaires. Respondents were selected using Simple Random Sampling Method. Secondary data were obtained through relevant agencies such as the Tangkunei Village Office, online media, and journals. The data analysis used in this study was descriptive data analysis, namely by using the Gini Index, Lorenz Curve and World Bank Criteria.The results of this study indicated that the level of inequality of farmer income from Clove farming alone could be classified as having a moderate inequality (Gini Index of 0.39). If the income outside of clove farming was taken into account,  the level of inequality would decrease as indicated by the Gini Index of 0.31.Keywords: Income Distribution, Clove Farmers. Abstract

Water supply by PDAM Kota Bitung is still faced with various problems including the coverage of clean water services in Bitung city which has only reached 54.38 percent.  In this paper an evaluation of the technical aspects is carried out.  The number of house hold active customers in Bitung City is only 15,588 customers out of a total of 22,901 customers or only 68 percent of the total active customers.  The population of Bitung City is 212,409 people.  The population in the service area of PDAM Bitung is 214,108 people.               This type of research is descriptive quantitative to determine the needs of PDAM’s water in Bitung.  The type of data collected, consists of primary data and secondary data.  The domestic sector needs for household connections in 2028 will reach 172.77 litres per second while for public taps will be 10.27 litres per second.  The need for non-domestic sectors until 2028 will be 8.43 litres per second for education facilities, 21.22 litres per second for worship facilities, 0.92 litres per second for market facilities, 0.93 litres per second for hospital facilities, 0.48 litres per second  health center (puskesmas) facilities, 2.03 litres per second for hotel facilities, 0.2 litres per second for industrial area, and 8.85 litres per second for office and shops.  The Development of SPAM Piping Network of PDAM Bitung with zoning system consists of: Zone 1 Tandeki, Zone 2 Danowudu, Zone 3 Kadoodan, Zone 4 Kakenturan, Bitung Port Special Zone, Special Economic Zone (SEZ).Keywords: Water Distribution, Water Needs, Zoning

Abstract

The aim of this study was to analyze the level of inequality in regencies / cities in North Sulawesi Province and to analyze the factors that influenced regional disparities that occur in regencies / cities in North Sulawesi Province. Research used secondary data. Data were collected and obtained from the Central Statistics Agency of North Sulawesi Province and related Government Agencies for the period of 2013 to 2017 in the form of GRDP, population, economic potential, and various other secondary data. The data obtained were grouped and processed using the MS Excel application. Method of data analysis was the Williamson Index Method, which was a method of measuring regional inequality. The results showed that North Sulawesi Province experienced low inequality in 2013 to 2016 and high inequality in 2017 with a value of 0.55. Factors affecting North Sulawesi's regional inequality were the concentration of regional economic activity, investment allocation, low levels of mobility and production factors between regions, differences in the demographic conditions of the region and less smooth of trade in land, sea and air transportation. The Williamson Index in 2013-2014 was worth of 0.48, in 2015 it was worth of 0.47, in 2016 it was worth of 0.48 and in 2017 it was worth of 0.55. This showed that the inequality in North Sulawesi from 2013 to 2016 was low but in 2017 was high.Keywords: Regional Inequality, Index Williamson

Abstract

Shallots are one of the horticultural crops that have high demand, so the government tried to meet the needs of the community by providing assistance in running a shallots breeding business in Minahasa Regency, which is located in Tonsewer. This research is only based on one informant, because the breeding place is managed only by him. The purpose of this study is to look at the development of this business through a financial feasibility analysis to see whether the business is feasible or not feasible. The data used were primary data and secondary data. Data were analyzed using Net Present Value (NPV), Gross Rate of Return (IRR) and Break Event Point (BEP). Based on the results of research conducted, the shallots breeding business was feasible because it had an NPV of Rp. 6,604,950,996.21 or more than 0, IRR 115.80% or higher than bank interest rates (6%) and Gross Benefit Cost Ratio 3.19 or more 1. Based on the results of the BEP analysis it was found that the break even point would be reached at the total production of 10,704 kg if the price of shallot seeds was Rp. 30,000/ kilogram.Keywords: Financial Analysis, Seed Breeding, Shallots, Southern Tonsewer

Abstract

The objective of this research is to determine the characteristics of female workers and how much income  received in oil palm plantation This research has been conducted for 3 months from June to August 2018 at  PT Henrison Inti Persada, located in the Klasafet  District, Sorong Regency. The sampling method uses the Purposive sampling method. The type of data used is primary data and secondary data. Primary data collection is done by interviewi ng respondents directly and using a list of questions that have been prepared, female labor respondents as monthly employees in the company. Secondary data were obtained from the agencies or institutions involved in this study, such as the Office of the Oil Palm Plantation Company PT. HIP          The research results showed that young non-local female workers aged 23-40 years were 9 people (60%), local female workers with an elementary school education of 10 people (66.67%) and the marital status of married female workers and the number of dependents for more families between 1-5 9 people (60%). The duration of Non-local female workers from 4-10 years is 12 people (80%) and the Field of Work in PT HIP as a palm oil keeper, Non-local female workers who do not have other jobs and only work at PT HIP totaling 12 people (80%) Local female jobs have 6 other jobs (40%), Origin of the workforce comes from East Nusa Tenggara with 11 people (36.67%) and West Papua which is 15 people (50%), Non-local female workers total 12 as many as (80%) people who claimed to work as laborers at PT HIP wanted to increase family income and to support family economic stability. The working hours set by PT HIP for all oil palm workers in PT. HIP Sorong Regency for one day, which is 8 hour,  start working from 06.00  to 14.00 o’clock and the highest wage of female workers at PT HIP per month was Rp. 2,301,000 to Rp. 2,500,000 with a total of 19 people (63.33%).Keywords: Women Workers, PT. Abstract

The objective of this research is to identify internal and external factors that affect the to compile and recommend the right strategy alternative of Business Development Strategy of Eufraino Herbal Drink in facing competition. By using SWOT analysis such as the  IFE and EFE matrix can be identified as important factors from the internal environment and the external environment that become strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of this business. Data analysis used in this study is a descriptive analysis.  The process of formulating strategies to analyse those internal and external environments by the three stages namely, input stage, matching stage and decision stage. The analytical tools used to formulate such strategies are IFE and EFE matrix in input stage, I-E matrix, Grand Strategy matrix, and SWOT matrix in matching stage, and as QSPM at the decision stage. Research results showed that the priority of the business development strategy can be carried out was developing some new product innovations so that the consumers will not switch to another product..Keywords: Business Development Strategy - Eufraino Herbal Drink

Abstract

The objective of this research was to determine the pattern of tomato marketing channels, to calculate the costs, profits and marketing margins of tomatoes and to analyze the farmer's share in each tomato marketing channel in Kopiwangker Village. This research was conducted for 3 (three) months, from April to June 2019. Sampling method is done by purposive sampling Data used in this study are primary and secondary data. Data collected and analyzed descriptively where the data collected will be presented in tabular form and to know the marketing margins and marketing costs at the marketing agency level in the marketing channel used quantitative analysis by calculating the cost, profit and marketing margin. Based on the research results of Tomato Marketing Margin Analysis in Kopiwangker Village, West Langowan Subdistrict, Minahasa Regency, it can be concluded as follows: Kopiwangker Village has 2 marketing channels, namely marketing channel I, farmers to retailers in Langowan market, and marketing channel II, farmers, collectors and retailers in the Karombasan market. Marketing channel I total costs Rp. 139.8, profit of Rp 415.2 / kg and marketing margin of Rp. 555. Marketing channel II costs a total of Rp 301.2 / kg, profit 377.3 and marketing margin Rp 679, the farmer share in marketing channel I is 78.28% and marketing channel II is 72.36%.Keywords: Margins, Marketing, Kopiwangker Village

Abstract

This study aims to determine the internal factors (strengths and weaknesses) and external factors (opportunities and threats) and to formulate a strategy for developing the Firdaus Beach ecotourism area. This research was conducted from March to May 2019. The study used primary data obtained directly from the object of research, which included tourists, managers, and sellers through direct interviews with 22 respondents using questionnaires prepared as well as secondary data obtained from books, journals, and literature related to the this study. Data were analyzed using SWOT analysis, measured by using IFAS analysis (Internal Factor Analysis Strategy) and EFAS (External Factor Analysis Strategy). The results showed that ecotourismdevelopment on Firdaus Beach was in quadrant 1. The strategy used was an aggressive one which are to increase the attractiveness and to increase the use of  the strengths and opportunities in developing the Firdaus beach ecotourism area in Kema Dua Village.Keywords: Development Strategy, Firdaus Beach, Ecotourism , SWOT Analysis

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the income of tomato farming in Taraitak Satu Village, North Langowan District. This research was conducted for three months from March 2019 to May 2019. The data used in this study were primary data obtained based on interviews with 20 respondents of tomato farmers who were taken by simple random sampling and secondary data obtained from the village office and sub-district offices and literature available in libraries and the internet related to research.Research results show that the average income of tomato farming was Rp. 34,227,279 / planting season with an average of seven harvest seasons. The total revenues was Rp. 47,976,000 with a total cost of Rp. 13,748,721.To obtain a better sale price, farmers are advised to set the planting time so that it is not done simultaneously. In addition, farmers can expand their markets, for example, by selling to supermarkets or outside the region in order to obtain better profits in tomato farming.
