Abstract

This study investigates the impact of AI technology adoption, innovation readiness, and digital entrepreneurship on competitive advantage in startup enterprises within Jakarta's entrepreneurial ecosystem. A quantitative approach employing Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with Partial Least Squares (PLS) analysis was utilized to analyze data collected from 229 startup founders and executives. The findings reveal significant positive relationships between AI technology adoption, innovation readiness, digital entrepreneurship, and competitive advantage. Specifically, startups that strategically embrace AI technologies, foster innovation readiness, and leverage digital entrepreneurship practices demonstrate higher levels of competitive advantage. The study contributes to theoretical understanding by extending literature on technology-driven entrepreneurship and provides practical insights for startup stakeholders and policymakers aiming to enhance the competitiveness of Jakarta's startup ecosystem.

Abstract

This article discusses creative product development strategies in the Acaraki food and beverage industry, Kota Tua, Jakarta. The research method used is qualitative, with a descriptive qualitative approach and SWOT analysis. The data collection techniques used are direct observation, interviews, and literature studies. The formulation of the problem; what are the creative products offered by Acaraki Kota Tua, what is the current development strategy of Acaraki Kota Tua, and why is a development strategy needed for Acaraki Kota Tua. The research objectives are to find out the creative products offered by Acaraki Kota Tua to consumers, analyze the current development strategy of Acaraki Kota Tua, and provide insight into the importance of development strategies for the creative industry, especially in the field of food and beverages. The research findings show that Acaraki has succeeded in presenting innovation in promoting Indonesia's cultural heritage through its main product, namely herbal drinks. Not only herbal drink products, but Acaraki also sells food products and also produces herbal drinks in packaged form. There are several obstacles faced by Acaraki, such as the lack of attracting the attention of the younger generation, inadequate marketing, and limited products packaged for tourists as souvenirs. To overcome these problems, Acaraki can implement appropriate strategies, such as expanding branches, entering international markets, increasing promotions, collaborating with the government, and optimizing the use of information technology.

Abstract

The study was conducted at Batoe 54 Swimming Pool located in Jl.HM Nalim Jagakarsa, South Jakarta. The formulation of this research problem is what is the tourist attraction in the Batoe 54 swimming pool, how to implement the 7P marketing mix strategy in the Batoe 54 Swimming Pool, and why a marketing mix strategy is needed in these destinations. The purpose of the study was to find out the tourist attraction offered by the Batoe 54 swimming pool, find out more about the 7P marketing mix strategy implemented by the Batoe 54 swimming pool, and provide insight into how artificial tourist destinations can increase their competitiveness in an increasingly competitive tourism market. Data collection was carried out by direct observation and interviews with destination managers and several visitors. The research method uses qualitative, with a qualitative descriptive approach. The results showed that Batoe 54 Swimming Pool is suitable for lower middle class visitors because the prices offered are cheap, the facilities provided are complete, employee service is good, and the location is strategic. Batoe 54 Swimming Pool has shortcomings such as moss in the pool, lack of promotion, and some facilities are still not suitable for use. Strategies to overcome these shortcomings are improving product quality, adjusting prices more competitively, more effective promotions, paying attention to customer service aspects, and the physical environment so that the visitor experience becomes better.

Abstract

McDonald's, as one of the franchise companies that has a global reputation and is known almost all over the world, operates its business in the fast food sector. The object of this study is McDonald's located in Perdatam, Pasar Minggu. This research method is qualitative, with a qualitative descriptive analysis approach and SWOC analysis. Data collection was carried out by direct observation and interviews with the relevant resource persons in this study. The results showed that, McDonald's features a food menu that is famous for being delicious and diverse, including packaged menu choices, McDonald's consistently displays food product innovations to attract the attention of its consumers. McDonald's success lies not only in its taste excellence, but also in its ability to constantly adapt to changing consumer trends and tastes. The company continues to carry out various management strategies including vigorous promotions involving various media such as social media, television, radio, newspapers, and banners and McDonald's marketing strategies are designed very practically to stay ahead of its peers in the highly competitive fast food industry. The company's internal factors, especially its strengths, are always able to outperform its weaknesses. McDonald's managed to maintain its position in the market by presenting a combination of menu diversity, quality, and product innovation that became the main attraction for customers. Its ability to continuously compete and remain relevant in the market keeps McDonald's as a leader in the fast food industry, maintaining its edge amid fierce competition and ever-changing business dynamics.

Abstract

The research was conducted at Kapur Ciampea Mountain, Bogor on January 1, 2024. The purpose of this research is to find out the application of 3A at Kapur Ciampea Mountain and the development of the tourist destination. The method of analysis in this study is qualitative, with a qualitative descriptive analysis approach and SWOT analysis. The results of the study, the tourist attractions provided are very diverse, the amenity/facilities provided are quite good but there are still some facilities that need to be improved such as parking areas and public toilets, access to transportation is the advantage of this destination, the condition of the road to the destination is quite good, and access to information still needs to be improved, especially in access to digital information. To overcome these problems, the right strategy to develop Kapur Ciampea Mountain is to take advantage of the potential of website development and personal social media, improve inadequate facilities, training to staff and collaboration with influencers or community leaders, build a comprehensive disaster mitigation plan, carry out environmental restoration activities, and focus on improving the quality of services and nature education programs to overcome threats and risks that may occur.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of 3A (Attraction, Accessibility, Amenities) on the Kid's Forest vehicle in Ragunan. The research method used is qualitative, with a descriptive qualitative approach and SWOT analysis. Data collection through direct observation, interviews, and previous literature studies. The results showed that Kid's Forest rides offer diverse and interesting attractions, accessibility in Ragunan Zoo is very good, and adequate amenity. SWOT analysis shows that the strengths of Kid's Forest rides are attractive concepts, strategic locations, and adequate facilities. The weaknesses are the limited target market and the lack of educational facilities. Opportunities can further develop tourism activities and facilities. The most influential threat is bad weather that cannot be controlled, because the rides are outdoor activities. Strategies that can overcome these problems include developing wider attractions, improving the quality of facilities, more effective promotion, developing educational facilities, and evaluating weather conditions. By implementing these strategies, Kid's Forest at Ragunan Wildlife Park can increase its attractiveness, provide a better experience for visitors, and can contribute to sustainable tourism development in South Jakarta.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze policies for youth empowerment in supporting sustainable development in developing countries. Through a literature review method, this study explores key factors influencing the effectiveness of youth empowerment policies, evaluates implemented strategies, and formulates relevant policy recommendations. Findings reveal that access to education and training, poverty alleviation and unemployment, as well as political participation and social engagement are crucial aspects of youth empowerment. Holistic, inclusive, and integrated policies are required to ensure effective and sustainable youth empowerment. Policy recommendations include expanding access to education and training, developing locally-based poverty alleviation programs, and strengthening political participation and social engagement of youth. The implementation of these policies necessitates cross-sectoral and intergenerational collaboration.

Abstract

The construction industry's significant environmental impact has prompted a shift towards environmentally friendly building materials to mitigate environmental degradation while maintaining structural stability. This quantitative study investigates the effect of using environmentally friendly building materials on the stability of tall building structures in Jakarta, Indonesia. Employing a mixed-methods approach, survey data collection, and structural analysis techniques were utilized to examine the relationship between building material choices and structural stability. Statistical analyses revealed a strong preference for environmentally friendly materials among participants, with sustainable timber and eco-friendly concrete substitutes receiving high ratings. Moreover, participants expressed confidence in the structural integrity of tall buildings constructed using these materials. Correlation and regression analyses further demonstrated significant positive relationships between preferences for environmentally friendly building materials, perceived structural stability, and environmental sustainability practices. The findings underscore the potential of environmentally friendly building materials to enhance both structural stability and environmental sustainability in tall building construction.

Abstract

This research investigates the impact of technological innovation and design creativity on the attractiveness of tourism destinations in Bali. A quantitative approach was employed, collecting data from 267 tourists visiting various destinations in Bali. Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) analysis was used to analyze the relationships between technological innovation, design creativity, and destination attractiveness. The results revealed significant positive relationships between technological innovation and destination attractiveness (β = 0.543, p < 0.001) and between design creativity and destination attractiveness (β = 0.486, p < 0.001). The model fit assessment indicated satisfactory fit indices for the SEM-PLS model. Overall, the findings highlight the importance of leveraging technological innovation and design creativity to enhance the attractiveness of tourism destinations in Bali and foster sustainable tourism growth.

Abstract

This quantitative study investigates the relationships between digital competency training, job happiness, employee productivity, and turnover rates in the Indonesian e-commerce industry. Data were collected from 128 employees working in various e-commerce companies through structured questionnaires. Structural equation modeling (SEM) analysis was employed to analyze the data. Theresults reveal significant positive relationships between digital competency training and both job happiness and employee productivity. Furthermore, job happiness and employee productivity exhibit significant negative associations with turnover intentions. These findings highlight the importance of investing in digital skills development, fostering a positive work environment, and promoting employee productivity to reduce turnover rates in the e-commerce industry. Theoretical and practical implications are discussed, along with suggestions for future research.
