Abstract

This study examines the effect of training on employee performance at HIN Resort Bali Canggu. The study employed a quantitative approach involving 47 operational employees from the Front Office, Housekeeping, and Food and Beverage Service departments. Data were collected through a questionnaire using a five-point Likert scale and analyzed using descriptive analysis, classical assumption tests, simple linear regression, t-test, and coefficient of determination. The findings indicate that training was perceived positively, with a mean score of 3.70, while employee performance obtained a mean score of 3.73, both categorized as agree. The regression analysis produced the equation Y = 8.082 + 0.994X, indicating a positive relationship between training and employee performance. The t-test showed a t-value of 7.634 with a significance level of 0.000 < 0.05, confirming that training has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. The coefficient of determination (R² = 0.564) indicates that training explains 56.4% of the variation in employee performance, while the remaining 43.6% is attributable to other factors outside the research model. These findings highlight the importance of relevant, practical, and well-delivered training in supporting employee performance in hospitality operations.

Abstract

Bali has long been recognized as one of the world's leading cultural tourism destinations, attracting millions of international visitors annually through its rich cultural heritage, traditional arts, religious practices, and unique social values. However, the rapid expansion of global tourism, digital transformation, and increasing cultural exchanges have placed Bali in a complex position where economic development, cultural preservation, and intercultural interaction intersect. This study aims to examine the development of cultural tourism research from a cross-cultural communication perspective by employing a bibliometric approach to publications published between 2022 and 2025. Data were collected from 125 scholarly publications indexed in major academic databases using keywords related to cultural tourism, intercultural communication, cultural sustainability, and Bali tourism. The analysis focused on publication trends, thematic development, keyword co-occurrence, and emerging research directions. The findings reveal a significant increase in research output during the study period, with cultural sustainability (28%), cross-cultural communication (24%), community-based tourism (17.6%), overtourism (16%), and digital tourism (14.4%) emerging as dominant themes. The results suggest that Bali currently stands at a critical crossroads between preserving its cultural identity and responding to the demands of a highly competitive global tourism industry. The study highlights the growing importance of intercultural communication as a strategic mechanism for balancing cultural preservation, tourism development, and sustainable destination management. Furthermore, the findings indicate that future research is likely to focus on digital communication, Generation Z tourist behavior, smart tourism, cultural diplomacy, and sustainable cultural tourism governance.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play an important role in strengthening the local economy, yet their development is often constrained by limited access to financing, digital services, business formalization, and appropriate business assistance. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of territory mapping implemented by Bank Mandiri KCP Sleman Pakem in identifying, grouping, and understanding the potential and needs of MSMEs, as well as its contribution to improving MSME-oriented banking services. This study employed a qualitative descriptive approach. Data were collected through interviews, field observations, and documentation involving eight key informants consisting of four internal bank personnel and four MSME actors. Data were analyzed through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, with findings interpreted based on indicators of accessibility, accuracy, administrative effectiveness, and problem resolution. The results indicate that territory mapping supports more targeted customer identification, improves service accessibility, facilitates preliminary verification, and enables banking products and assistance to be better adapted to MSME characteristics. The approach also supports the use of digital services such as QRIS and Livin’ Merchant. The novelty of this study lies in positioning territory mapping not merely as a tool for expanding financing coverage, but as an operational strategy for integrating spatial information, MSME needs, digitalization, and responsive banking services at the branch level.

Abstract

Early childhood education (PAUD) provides strategic services in improving the quality of child development. The implementation of inclusive curriculum management is one effort to realize fair, friendly, and meaningful learning for all students without discrimination. This article will present the concept, implementation, and objectives of inclusive education for early childhood to make learning more meaningful. This research uses a literature study method, data obtained through a review of various scientific sources, including books, national and international journal articles, and policy documents related to inclusive education and PAUD curriculum. The results of the study indicate that inclusive curriculum management includes four main functions: planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating a curriculum that is flexibly designed according to the characteristics of students. To realize the implementation of inclusive education, it is supported by assessment, differentiated learning planning, and teacher resources. The implementation of inclusive curriculum management can increase children's participation in the learning process, optimize the development of all aspects of child development, and create a learning environment that respects diversity.
