Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of awareness of Civil Servants (PNS) to carry out the obligation to pay professional zakat, even after the BAZNAS conducted socialization to related agencies. The purpose of this research is to Analyze the Strategies of Collecting Professional Civil Servant Zakat in Amil Zakat Board in Sukabumi City. This research is based on field data using a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collected using observations, in-depth interviews, and documentation studies. This research found that there is a strategy used by BAZNAS in the management of professional zakat through socialization. Through socialization, BAZNAS immediately went to the field to visit the muzzaki candidates who were focused on civil servants (Civil Servants) through related agencies. As for the collection, the community comes directly to the BAZNAS office or can also be transferred to the BAZNAS account. In this study also found constraints faced by BAZNAS in carrying out management, especially professional zakat, namely the civil servants assume that civil servants' salaries do not meet Nishob, not calculated with benefits. After joining the basic wage with the allowance, the civil servant reaches Nishob to pay the zakat of the profession.

Abstract

Abstract

The aquaculture sector has come to be recognized as a key engine of both economic growth and seafood production worldwide. Shrimp farming in particular, and aquaculture in general, are major contributors to local livelihoods and food security in Sumbawa, West Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia. However, as this industry expands, it will have to contend with issues pertaining to productivity, sustainability of the environment, and the long-term viability of the fishing industry. Innovations in shrimp breeding have been implemented in the area to solve these problems. The various effects of these advances on aquaculture productivity and the long-term viability of Sumbawa's fishing enterprises are examined in this qualitative investigation. The results show how innovation, productivity, sustainability, and the particular socio-environmental setting of the area interact in a complicated way. Shrimp growth and disease resistance have increased thanks to selective breeding techniques, but genetic manipulation is still up for discussion. Sustainable feed methods are a viable way to lessen the impact on the environment. Effective disease management, together with market access and adherence to international quality standards, are critical components of a sustainable fisheries enterprise. This study promotes sustainable aquaculture methods and the long-term success of Sumbawa's fishing enterprises by offering useful insights and suggestions.

Abstract

The construction industry's significant environmental impact has prompted a shift towards environmentally friendly building materials to mitigate environmental degradation while maintaining structural stability. This quantitative study investigates the effect of using environmentally friendly building materials on the stability of tall building structures in Jakarta, Indonesia. Employing a mixed-methods approach, survey data collection, and structural analysis techniques were utilized to examine the relationship between building material choices and structural stability. Statistical analyses revealed a strong preference for environmentally friendly materials among participants, with sustainable timber and eco-friendly concrete substitutes receiving high ratings. Moreover, participants expressed confidence in the structural integrity of tall buildings constructed using these materials. Correlation and regression analyses further demonstrated significant positive relationships between preferences for environmentally friendly building materials, perceived structural stability, and environmental sustainability practices. The findings underscore the potential of environmentally friendly building materials to enhance both structural stability and environmental sustainability in tall building construction.

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of Sharia investment and government policy on the financial performance of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in West Java. Utilizing a quantitative approach, data was collected from 120 MSMEs through structured questionnaires employing a Likert scale ranging from 1 to 5. The collected data was analyzed using SPSS version 26 to determine the correlation and effect of the independent variables—Sharia investment and government policy—on the dependent variable, financial performance. The findings indicate a significant positive relationship between Sharia investment and financial performance, as well as between government policy and financial performance. This suggests that both Sharia-compliant financial practices and supportive government policies play crucial roles in enhancing the financial outcomes of MSMEs in the region. The results underscore the importance of adopting Sharia investment strategies and fostering government policies that support the growth and sustainability of MSMEs.

Abstract

This study explores the impact of social support, job stress, and job satisfaction on employee mental health within Jakarta's creative industries. Employing a quantitative research design, data were collected from 200 employees using a Likert scale questionnaire. The relationships between the variables were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS 3). The findings indicate that all hypotheses are positive and significant, with job satisfaction emerging as the strongest predictor of employee mental health. Interestingly, job stress, while typically associated with negative outcomes, also showed a positive relationship with mental health in this context, suggesting a complex interaction where stress may act as a motivator. Social support, though slightly less influential, was found to significantly enhance mental well-being by providing a protective buffer against the demands of creative work. These results underscore the importance of fostering job satisfaction, managing job stress, and promoting a supportive work environment to improve mental health outcomes in Jakarta's creative industries.
