Abstract

This research aims to determine the planning, implementation, and evaluation of education financing through the School Operational Assistance (BOS) funds at SMA Negeri 1 Tripe Jaya in Gayo Lues Regency. The research method employed was descriptive with a qualitative approach. The subjects of the study were the school principal and treasurer of SMA Negeri 1 Tripe Jaya. The object of the study was the education financing through the BOS funds at SMA Negeri 1 Tripe Jaya. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. They were then analyzed using data reduction techniques, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the planning of education financing through BOS funds at SMA Negeri 1 Tripe Jaya was considered good because it was done carefully and according to plan. A good planning process ensures the effective and efficient use of BOS funds to improve the quality of education. Evaluation of financing through BOS funds provides suggestions for improvements for future planning and implementation.

Abstract

The noble values and national insight of Hamengku Buwana IX, who was nationalist and democratic, played an important role in shaping the character of the younger generation. So that as the next generation of the nation they not only have intellectual intelligence but also have emotional intelligence. This qualitative research with historical approach uses descriptive analysis method to find the noble values and national insight of Hamengku Buwana IX. The results showed that the leadership values and national insight of Hamengku Buwana IX in respecting ancestral culture and prioritizing the interests of the nation and state were the basis for character education and noble character education. Hamengku Buwana IX is able to combine traditional and modern thinking, which refers to noble values and national insight by prioritizing the interests of society and the state in his leadership. So that character education for the younger generation can be directed at emphasizing the noble values and national insight of Hamengku Buwana IX.

Abstract

Pesanggrahan Village is a village located in Batu District, Batu City which has a BUMDes (Village-Owned Enterprise), namely BUMDes Mayangsari. This BUMDes in Pesanggrahan Village is also regulated in Village Regulation No.1 of 2017 concerning Village-Owned Enterprises. The purpose of this research is to explain the management strategy of Village-Owned Enterprises in increasing the village's original income in Pesanggrahan Village, Batu District, Batu City. Data collection techniques in this study using observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study, from the theory of strategic management, two indicators are going well, namely the preparation of strategies and evaluation and control and there are two indicators that have not gone well, namely observing the environment and implementing strategies. namely, 1) For officials or daily administrators of BUMDes Mayangsari by holding discussions that discuss the structure, budget, and human resources as well as existing natural resources as a form of introspection of management. 2) BUMDes Mayangsari should add and collaborate with more efforts from the village's original community and communities in Pesanggrahan Village and Batu City. 3) BUMDes Mayangsari should conduct evaluations that are held every 3 months such as quarterly, to improve the quality and quantity of BUMDes Mayangsari.

Abstract

The study, entitled "Business Development of Candied Nutmeg Making UD. Dianti Gampong Hilir Kecamatan Tapaktuan 1978 - 2021 "This aims to determine the initial process of the birth of the business of making candied nutmeg of UD. Dianti Gampong Hilir, Tapaktuan District from 1978-2021 and to find out how the development of the business of making candied nutmeg UD. Dianti Gampong Hilir, Tapaktuan District from 1978 - 2021. This study uses a qualitative approach to the type of historical research. The subjects in this study were the owners of candied nutmeg. Data collection techniques using observation and interview techniques. All data from observations and interviews were processed with the data analysis stage, namely, data reduction, data presentation, and verification / drawing conclusions. The results of this study can be concluded that the development of the business of making candied nutmeg UD. Dianti Gampong Hilir, Tapaktuan District is quite good. Among them, the owner of candied nutmeg is getting more advanced than usually selling only candied nutmegs but now there are new products produced by the owner of candied nutmeg due to business development from year to year.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of motivation on the performance of employees of UPT RSUD Sultan Syarif Mohamad Alkadrie through job satisfaction and Organizational Citizenship Behaviour (OCB). This study used a quantitative method with Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) data analysis technique. The sample of this study was 100 employees of UPT RSUD Sultan Syarif Mohamad Alkadrie who were randomly selected. The results of this study showed that motivation had a significant effect on job satisfaction, OCB, and employee performance. In addition, job satisfaction and OCB also had a significant effect on employee performance. Thus, the hypothesis of this study was accepted. This study provides implications that to improve employee performance, motivation, job satisfaction, and OCB of employees need to be increased. This study also provides suggestions for further research.

Abstract

Creative economy tourism is an essential sector in the economic development of Baubau City. In developing this sector, the role of the community is significant. Communities can be active in decision-making and implementing creative economy tourism development programs. The philosophy of life of the Bhutanese people, known as PO-5 (read; polymer), is an acronym for several philosophies, namely Popia-piara, Poangka-Angkataka, Pomae-Maeaka, Poma-masiaka, and Pobinci- Bincikikuli. The research uses the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method to analyze the role of the community in developing creative economic tourism in Baubau City. Through this approach, communities and researchers work together to define problems, identify possible solutions, and implement actions to improve local communities' economic and social well-being. The research results show that the weaving community is essential in developing creative economic tourism in Baubau City. They can contribute through innovative product development, marketing and tourism promotion, increasing community involvement in decision-making and empowering the local economy while remaining based on local wisdom. However, challenges are also faced in involving communities in developing creative economic tourism, including a lack of knowledge and skills and the need for access to resources and capital.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence between return on assets, firm size, liquidity, financial leverage, investment opportunity, and company growth on dividend payout The data in this study are quantitative data, namely the annual reports of manufacturing companies available on the Indonesia Stock Exchange website (www.idx.co.id) and the official website of each company, for 6 years (2017-2022). The sample withdrawal method used in this study was purposive sampling so that 22 companies were sampled. The data analysis used to test the hypothesis is panel data regression analysis using the Eviews 10.0 program. Based on the research results that have been obtained, it is known that return on assets, leverage, and company growth have a negative and significant effect, while firm size, financial leverage, and investment opportunity have no effect on dividend payout. To increase dividend payout, companies should be able to manage ROA properly and efficiently by considering the proportion of retained earnings to remain maximum in generating capital gains, in addition to being able to maximize the effectiveness of fixed assets in addition to low current assets so that the added value of the products produced by the company is more optimal, so that it will increase profits, companies that are growing significantly are expected to utilize their internal finances well so that internal and external funding sources can generate optimal profits. This research should be used by investors in Indonesia and abroad in their investment activities in manufacturing companies in Indonesia. In order for the investment made to bring big profits.

Abstract

Bank is a financial institution that functions as a liaison between parties who have excess funds and those who need funds. In creating bank health, it is measured by profitability indicators to see the ability to increase profits, measure effectiveness and efficiency in management. Its profitability can be seen from the value of ROA (Return On Assets) and ROE (Return On Equity). The banking industry has problems in bad debtors which can be seen from the value of NPL (Non-Performing Loan) and this is exacerbated by special conditions that have occurred in recent years, namely the Covid-19 pandemic. So it is necessary to see how the effect of non-performing loans on bank profitability during the Covid-19 pandemic and this study conducted a case study on Buku III banks in Indonesia represented by 7 banks that reported financial data from 2019-2021, namely Bank HSBC Indonesia, Bank Tabungan Negara, Bank DBS Indonesia, Bank Permata, Bank Mega, Bank DKI, and Maybank Indonesia. The results show that the results of the analysis using SPSS version 25, partially non-performing loans represented with NPLs have no effect on the profitability of banks represented with ROA and ROE. Meanwhile, the same condition occurs in the results of the analysis test simultaneously or together with non-performing credit variables, namely NPLs, do not affect bank profitability, namely ROA and ROE.

Abstract

The background of this research is the discovery of errors in the Indonesian language in online news writing. The most obvious error is at the syntax level. Therefore, this study aims to explain the form of language errors in the field of syntax contained in the online news portal Sindonews in the editorial news text entitled "Politics Getting Hot". This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. To obtain data, the observation technique was chosen as a data collection method. Furthermore, the data were analyzed using the distribution method. The results of the research regarding the analysis of language errors in the field of syntax contained in the editorial news include errors in coherence, borrowed words, sentence effectiveness, unity, and sentence logic that do not match. This study reinforces the paradigm that online news portals ignore the principles of Indonesian language syntax.

Abstract

This study is aimed to report elementary students' engagement and perception of the use of storytelling in reading comprehension. The use of storytelling as one of the oldest ways of human communication is already known. It is also one of the pedagogical tools to develop language skills in first, second, and foreign languages regardless of students' age, gender, and ethnicity. Storytelling proved to be more effective in language teaching than traditional teaching material because it is fun, engaging, and raises students' interest in listening to the stories as well as retelling them. Meanwhile, reading is a crucial aspect of life, improving brain performance, increasing knowledge, and sharpening memory. This research employed a case study with a qualitative approach. The participants of the study were 31 elementary school students. The data were derived from classroom observations, questionnaires, and interviews. The results showed that the students engaged in the activity in storytelling class. The questionnaire and observational data indicated that the children responded positively to storytelling activity and engage the students to the reading class, motivating students' behavior and attitudes in EFL reading activity. Drawing on the findings, pedagogically, this study implied story telling can be adopted as the scaffolding to engage students in reading comprehension situated in elementary school context.
