Abstract

Pandemic Covid-19 has greater impact on people’s lives in all aspects, including economy. The large-scale social restriction policy (PSBB) implemented by the government has restricted the movement of people from one place to another. Then it is suggested to work from home, study from home, or shop from home. As a result, informal sector businesses particularly transportation sub-sector. This research aims to see the impact of Covid-19 pandemic on the economy of people who work in the informal sector, especially the transportation sub-sector. This research was conducted in Tanah Datar Regency, West Sumatra Province in the second quarter of 2020. The population was public transportation workers and sample was minibus taxi drivers or motor taxi bikers. The data collected through a questionnaire, presented in table form and analyzed descriptively by using statistics. The results show Pandemic Covid-19 affect their income. The income of workers in this subsector decreased by 56% so that some workers chose to leave this job or switch to other jobs. This condition results in unfulfilled household needs, so they have to use existing savings, do savings, and rely on special assistance in handling Covid-19, even some wives have also had to work to help the family economy.

Abstract

Islamic banks have an important role in social responsibility. As a part of Islamic Banking, Corporate social responsibility (CSR) has consequences on the welfare of the community, particularly, to those whose economic affected their economic by Pandemic Covid-19. CSR as a part of community empowerment provide aids like economic, social or health corresponding to theories of CSR. Ideally, CSR should have the value of truth, justice, kindness and honesty that can be manifested in business activities, especially Islamic banks and its relationships with all stakeholders. This research describes the role of Islamic banks in implementing corporate social responsibility during Pandemic Covid-19. Mandiri Syariah Bank as one Islamic Bank has couple of CSR programs such as Mitra Umat, Simpati Umat and Didik Umat. The results of this study also reveal Mandiri Syariah Bank has give aids; providing personal protective equipment (PPE) for medical personnel, helping the economy of the affected community, especially easing customer businesses during Pandemic Covid-19 as a form of social concern, as well as contributing to reducing poverty, company development, and economy and empowerment in accordance with the principles of CSR applied by Mandiri Syariah Bank like the principle of spirituality, nationalism and welfare.

Abstract

Fee Based Income is the income that keeps the company from decreasing the net interest margin (NIM). The amount of profit obtained by the bank as well as being efficient and effective in managing company finances, shows a good bank financial performance. One of the products of PT. BSM that provides Fee Based Income is Gold Pawn (rahn) services provided by banks to customers. This research uses quantitative data. Data obtained from the monthly financial statements of gold pawn products and FBI at PT. Bank Syariah Mandiri period January 2017 - December 2019. This study uses a simple linear regression method. Regression analysis shows that the effect of gold rahn on fee based income is significant where t count (3.826)> t table (2.03) and a significance of 0.001 <0.05 so that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. It can be concluded that the Gold Rahn variable has a significant effect on FBI. This happens because the total gold Rahn fee received by Bank Syariah Mandiri makes a significant contribution to the bank's profit rate.

Abstract

Health is one of the important things in life.  Health service is the most important necessary, along with increasing public awareness of the importance of health.  Sima Husada Clinic is a health clinic which is focused on outpatients and inpatients, in which the data processing transaction used is a manual system. In this research, the researcher will elaborate in outline about accounting information by using software AxataPOS. The aim of this research is to describe accounting program facilitiy, in order to simplify entering data transaction and organizing financial report. The research method of this study were descriptive research. In collecting the data, the researcher used observation directly about daily transaction, beside that the researcher also did interview with the manager and Administration. The result of this research showed that the implementation of software AxataPOS to Sima Husada Clinic can be applied since it eases the clinic in processing the data of financial transaction for instance recording the cash out and cash in, payroll, medical stock such as the outcoming item, the incoming item and stock opname, and in the perspective of sharia business management a system is very much needed to make it easier to achieve the benefit of society.  In this case, automatically it will generate the financial report which is needed without  a long stage.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the model of university-based waqaf management in East Java. Higher Education as a booster for civilization change, can be used as a place to manage waqaf. Therefore, waqaf can be used as a means of improvement and enhancement of the quality of education, in order to create a more advanced civilization. This, can be used as an instrument in boosting community productivity. One of the tertiary institutions in Indonesia, which has implemented waqaf management in supporting all educational activities on campus as well as helping the surrounding community is Airlangga University. The research method used is qualitative, with a grounded research approach. The location of the research is Airlangga University, which is the only university in East Java that has officially become nadzir waqaf. In managing this waqaf, Airlangga Univeristy has appointed its work unit, namely the Social Fund Management Center (PUSPAS). Thus, PUSPAS carries out its duties to manage waqaf professionally. PUSPAS Programs focussed on several activities like Waqaf Rumah Amerta and Waqaf 1000 Movement (GEBU). These programs aims to produce productivity for all students, educators, and the community around Airlangga University in particular. In addition, all PUSPAS waqaf management activities can also have an impact on increasing the productivity of mustahik in East Java, in general

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of service excellence on increasing Muzakki's loyalty in paying zakat at Baznas of Southeast Sulawesi Province. This research was conducted on the people of Southeast Sulawesi province who paid zakat at the Southeast Sulawesi Provincial Baznas of 120 people. Analysis of the data used in this study is multiple linear regression. The results of this study indicate that service excellence consisting of attitude, attention, action, ability, appereance, and accountability significantly plays a role in increasing Muzakki's loyalty

Abstract

Islamic Finance, which is related to "Islamic finance", is a form of activity related to money which is financial products and services with Islamic principles. Islamic finance aims to avoid all actions related to bad deeds in accordance with the Koran, such as the term MAGRIB, namely Maysir, Gharar, Riba, Haram and Dzalim. Conventional-based financial services such as banks, insurance, stocks, investments and all those related to their services are the most prominent in society. Thus, this study aims to present the latest trends from Islamic Finance studies. This study uses bibliometric analysis based on data obtained from Scopus. By entering the keywords used, related to Islamic Finance in the title of the article, this study succeeded in obtaining 2028 documents for more detailed analysis. Various applications are used, such as Microsoft Excel to perform frequency analysis, VOSviewer for data visualization. This study presents the results using standard bibliometric analysis such as year of publication, type of document, type of source, title of source, language, subject area, keywords, geographic distribution, authorship and active institution. Based on our results, there has been an extraordinary growth in Islamic finance publications since 2005. The increasing number of articles on Islamic finance shows the importance of Islamic-based finance in the financial services industry

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Islamic commercial bank financing on the analysis of financial development in Indonesia, and to analyze the effect of inflation on financial development in Indonesia. This research method is multivariate cointegration and error correction model (ECM). Research uses time series data using Time series data starts from 2010 to 2019 with a total of 40 data (n), the data is sourced from the financial services authority (OJK). The findings in this study indicate that Islamic commercial bank financing has a significant effect on economic growth in Indonesia. The coefficient value of -0,122 indicates that every 1% economic growth will reduce the economic growth index in Indonesia by 0.122%. Meanwhile, inflation has a positive and insignificant effect on economic growth in Indonesia. The coefficient value of 0.028 indicates that every 1% increase in inflation has no effect on the increase in the financial development index in Indonesia by 0.028%. It is fitting for the government in this case to encourage the development of Islamic banking to be proven to have contributed to economic growth through regulations that can support the acceleration of Islamic banking to the national economy

Abstract

This paper aims to find strategies that can be carried out by BPKH in domestic hajj financethrough direct investment. This paper includes a literature study with a normative approach by takingdata sources from the laws and regulations on haj fund management and the book “What and How toInvest in BPKH Hajj Finance. As well as from books, journals and from the internet in the form of newsrelated to investment finance hajj. Data analysis techniques and data presentation used in this study werequalitative descriptive analysis. The results obtained show that the first direct investment strategy indomestic hajj financial governance, has its own business, second, capital participation, third, investmentcollaboration, fourth, other direct investment. Examples of businesses that can be run in investment,transportation, lodging or hotels, business convection and providing gifts or gifts.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has affected many aspects. Not only for MSMEs but also Islamic microfinanceinstitutions. This study aims to determine the strategy of Islamic microfinance institutions, namely KSPPS BMTAirlangga Bakti Persada during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approachwith a case study method. The results of this study indicate that KSPPS BMT Airlangga Bakti Persada has acertain strategy so that it can survive in the Covid-19 pandemic era. The strategy includes risk managementand operational management at the institution. Risk management includes the management of default riskby members and management of default risk by the institution. Operational management is related to healthprotocols so that employees are not exposed to the Covid-19 virus.
