Abstract

This research aims to analyze, explain and understand the traditional cultural expressions (folklore) of Indonesian society so that the uniqueness of traditional cultural expressions (folklore) can be discovered which is one of the foundations for finding more appropriate forms of protection and efforts to protect people's rights to traditional cultural expressions ( folklore) from misuse by other parties for commercial purposes without providing benefits to the community concerned. The type of research used is normative juridical which is carried out by examining library legal materials or secondary data, which includes research on legal principles, legal systematics, levels of vertical and horizontal synchronization, legal comparisons and legal history. The results of this research reveal that the categories of traditional cultural expressions (folklore) that can be protected are verbal and non-verbal expressions in the form of folklore, folk poetry, riddles, proverbs, proverbs, traditional speeches, song expressions, collages, traditional costumes, architects who related to folklore, has the characteristics of being sustainable, contemporary and wholeheartedly maintained, both those that have been documented and those that have not been documented at the Office of the Directorate General of Intellectual Property Rights. Therefore, the Government must be able to position itself wisely in the midst of society, namely at least by maintaining its neutrality from various social conflicts or legal disputes related to intellectual property rights or the protection of folklore in its diversity. The use of contracts to determine benefit sharing needs to be carried out by the government through institutions appointed to represent the state in the protection of folklore

Abstract

The global surge in urbanization has imposed a pressing need for cities to adapt and progress. Amidst this tide of transformation, Bandung, Indonesia, emerges as a guiding light, striving to embody the essence of the Smart City concept. This article conducts an in-depth evaluation of Bandung's journey towards becoming a Smart City, scrutinizing its advancements against the backdrop of six pivotal indicators.At the core of this evaluation lies a deep understanding of the Smart City essence, where the fusion of Information and Communication Technology catalyzes a revolution in urban living. Bandung's initiation into the realm of Smart City, commencing in 2013, marks the onset of a comprehensive expedition characterized by innovation, community engagement, and a commitment to sustainability. The pillars of Smart Economy, Smart People, Smart Governance, Smart Mobility, Smart Living, and Smart Environment serve as the defining elements shaping Bandung's evolutionary path. The city thrives on the vibrancy of its educational institutions and the burgeoning creative industries within its bounds. However, persistent challenges in infrastructure and accessibility underscore the crucial need for substantial investment in digital infrastructure and initiatives to enhance digital literacy. Bandung's aspiration for a smarter future necessitates holistic strategies that not only address these challenges but also harness the city's technological prowess and engage the community in a collaborative approach. Abstract

The legal vacuum and uncertainty that exists regarding the regulation of interfaith marriage has become a polemic that is present in the community to this day. The guidelines used by judges to resolve cases of applications for registration of marriages of different religions are contained in SEMA 2/2023 which is considered as a step to end this polemic. However, in practice, cases of applications for registration of interfaith marriages are still granted after the existence of SEMA 2/2023. This study aims to examine the implications of the enactment of SEMA 2/2023 on interfaith marriages in Indonesia. The research method used is normative juridical through literature study as a data collection technique and analyzed using normative provisions of Indonesian positive law regarding marriage law and family law. The results show that interfaith marriages generally have major implications for family law resulting from interfaith marriages, namely children's rights, inheritance rights, and division of joint property. However, the nature of SEMA which is not retroactive makes the status of interfaith marriages that were held before the existence of SEMA 2/2023 still have the right as it should be.

Abstract

The development of social media directly impacts human order and behavior. The symptoms of this cyber bullying behavior in Indonesia are already very worrying and troubling many people who play social media.  Ethics gives humans the experience of how they live their lives through a series of daily actions. Which means ethics can help human activities to make a decision, how they behave and act in a way that is right for the view in living this life.  A good communication ethic will create a good and harmonious atmosphere and relationship between communities. It is inversely proportional if life occurs without an understanding of communication ethics, there will be misunderstandings that make disputes and disputes that can divide the peace of social life. The development of social media can be said to be rapid because anyone can register and have any social media. Social Media Users can access Social Media anytime and anywhere through the Internet network. The activities that take place on each social media are diverse and start from various ideas in the form of words, photos, videos, and other content models.

Abstract

This research is a type of descriptive research, aimed at describing and analyzing students' level of understanding of trigonometry concepts. The instrument used in this research was a test of the ability to solve valid trigonometry questions. Data collection was carried out by giving written tests in the form of descriptive questions. The sample for this research was class X MIA students at SMA Negeri 1 Bua, consisting of 40 people. The research process follows the following stages: (a) formulating a valid supporting instrument (test of ability to solve trigonometry questions), (b) collecting data to reveal students' understanding in solving the questions given, (c) analyzing data on students' understanding in solving questions, (d) discussing the results of the analysis, (e) drawing conclusions from the research results. The results of the research show: The ability level of class The average score of students' ability is 69.08 which shows that their ability is moderate with a standard deviation of 13.37 with the lowest score of 37.00 and the highest score of 92.00 from the ideal score of 100. The mode of 72.00 shows that the score most often obtained by participants education is 72.

Abstract

The act of adultery occurring today is attributed to the decline in moral values within society. Free sex is one example, where individuals engage in sexual relations without rules. We aim to discuss adultery from the perspective of Aceh's criminal law, exploring the definition, historical background, and the implementation of the punishment for adultery. The objective is to delve into the understanding of criminal law, introduce the early history of Aceh's law, and comprehend the application of adultery punishment within Aceh's legal framework. The research methodology for examining adultery in the context of Aceh's criminal law involves a qualitative approach, relying on literature, both primary and secondary data, specifically related to Article 33 on adultery. The data collection method is through library research. This study follows the Qanun Jinayat research method, where all forms of law and formal rules originate from Islamic Sharia applied in Aceh. The research aims to understand the concept of adultery, its types, and violations from the perspective of Aceh's criminal law. The overall findings suggest that, based on the analysis, criminal acts of adultery in Aceh's Qanun encompass various types of actions, each with distinct sanctions. This study aims to inform the public about adultery offenses and their corresponding penalties, fostering a better understanding to avoid not only the punishment but also the consequences in this world, as outlined in Aceh's criminal law.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh fenomena yang berkembang di kalangan siswa terkait kedisiplinan dalam proses pembelajaran. Salah satu cara untuk meningkatkan kedisiplinan belajar adalah dengan menerapkan pelatihan self management. Tujuan umum penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh gambaran empiris mengenai efektivitas pelatihan self management dalam meningkatkan disiplin belajar siswa SMPK St. Yohanes Tilang yang berjumlah 20 siswa, yang terdiri dari siswa laki-laki dan siswa perempuan. Penelitian dilakukan dengan desain penelitian one group pre post test design. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah angket disiplin belajar. Teknik analisis data menggunakan rumus uji t dan program SPSS 16.00 for windows untuk mengukur uji beda pre test sebelum pemberian perlakuan dan post test sesudah pemberian perlakuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara umum disiplin belajar siswa Kelas XI SMA Negeri 2 Tasikmalaya berada pada kategori sedang. Pelatihan manajemen diri efektif dalam meningkatkan kedisiplinan belajar siswa.

Abstract

In this sense, "communication patterns" refers to the format or method of communication between parents and children that is based on communication theories and creates reciprocity to support methodical and logical thought. Physical, linguistic, emotional, and cognitive changes occur during a child's growth from birth to the early years of maturity. Children in elementary school are given gadgets by their parents for a specific purpose, but when a child actively uses a gadget, their communication patterns are given extra consideration. This study intends to understand how parents communicate with their children in order to help them form their character, investigate the connection between parental communication styles and the language development of children between the ages of four and six, and investigate the impact of family interpersonal communication styles on the character development of children. The PGRI Sukabela Pos Complex in Kasemen District, Serang City, was used as the research place while deciding on the qualitative research methodology. According to these results, communication between parents and kids has an impact on kids' language development at the crucial 4-6 year old age range. During this time, parents' rich and constructive communication exchanges with their kids are crucial to the language development of the kids. Youngsters who talk to their parents frequently, intently, and encouragingly typically develop their language skills better.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the legal position of the government in contracts for the procurement of goods and services as well as the burden of responsibility for the government in implementing contracts for the procurement of goods and services. The type of research used is normative juridical, namely examining legal concepts related to contracts in general and commercial contracts in particular. In this case, the object of this research is related to the status and authority of the government in contracts for the procurement of goods and services. The research results reveal that sometimes the government is involved in civil relations in the same position as private parties as in contracts for the procurement of goods and services, without its specific position as an institution to protect the public interest. The imposition of government responsibility in implementing contracts for the procurement of goods and services can be viewed from two aspects in terms of the government's actions as one of the parties to the contract for the procurement of goods and services, namely actions that are inherent in government institutions and private (individual) government officials, so that they can be held accountable based on Article 1365 Civil Code. Therefore, the auction/tender committee and/or authorized officials in issuing decisions both in making contracts for the procurement of goods and services and in implementing these contracts must be based on basic values or principles of justice and rational responsibility.

Abstract

Exposure is an activity of reading, viewing and listening to messages from various media that have meaning from these messages, this happens to every individual or group. In this study, it discusses the Intensity of Brigadier J on Tiktok on the Image of the National Police on Students’ point of view who have a problem formulation to find out how much influence the Intensity of Brigadier J on Tiktok has on the Image of the National Police on Students’ point of view with the aim of knowing the effect of the Intensity of Brigadier J on Tiktok on the Image of the National Police on Students’ point of view. This journal belongs to one of the major themes, namely: Human-Machine Communications. Using the positivism paradigm with an exploratory quantitative approach method and data collection non probability techniques using accidental sampling type by distributing questionnaires to STIKOM InterStudi Students Class Batch 2019-2022. The sample used was seventy-five respondents. Data was collected via Google Form with a five-point Likert scale measurement. Data processing techniques using simple Linear Analysis Techniques with IBM SPSS V.29 software to test validity and reliability, F test, and Individual significant test (t test). The results of this study obtained a t-test result of zero point eight hundred three which is greater than zero point zero five where the regression coefficient is positive, which means it is valid. So it means that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected because there is an influence of the Intensity variable (X) on the Image variable (Y). Then the output results obtained were forty point eight percent which stated that the results of the study were in the moderate/moderate category of influence while the remaining fifty-nine point two percent was influenced by other variables that was not examined in this research.
