Abstract

Quality control is very necessary so that the goals, plans and policies of a company in producing products are achieved. This study aims to analyze the dominant product quality control in printing production (kain sarung with construction (TR30/TR30 84 55 52)) using the control chart method at PT. Sari Warna Asli Unit 1, Karanganyar. Data collection through interviews and data processing of inspection reports. The results of data analysis obtained UCL values ??of 753, CL of 675, and LCL of 597. Gagal wanra is a defect with the highest number and is outside the control limits. The causes of these defects come from environmental factors, methods, machines, humans, and raw materials.

Abstract

The development of the industrial world which is increasingly rapid at this time requires a company to pay attention to the smooth production process and employee performance. PT. XYZ is a manufacturing company engaged in the garment sector. Performance measurement that is still applied to PT. XYZ is still using a target and attendance system, therefore the performance measurement is still not able to describe the employee's contribution to the company. The purpose of this study is to measure the performance of production employees, especially the sewing department line 2 and 3 using the Human Resource Scorecard (HRSC) and Total Quality Management (TQM) methods. Collecting data through interviews and distributing questionnaires to employees. Test results for the validity and reliability of the questionnaire data in this study obtained an Rtable of 0.254. The alpha value for the HRSC method is 0.602 and the alpha value for the TQM method is 0.807. The results of data processing on 4 HRSC perspectives, namely the financial perspective of 203 (satisfactory), the customer perspective of 695 (satisfactory), the internal business process perspective (satisfactory), and the growth and learning perspective of 364 (satisfactory) and the results of the TQM method are 1723 ( satisfying)

Abstract

Facility layout design is very important in supporting production activities, this arrangement is supported in one area in the warehouse. Warehouse arrangement is necessary for the smooth flow of materials that require efficient arrangement and transfer of materials to reduce the frequency of backtracking. The purpose of this research is to minimize the material transfer distancehandling. CV. Eka Jaya Sakti is a company engaged in processing plastic into raffia products. The problems that exist in this company are the placement of raw materials and product results that are less organized. The method used in this research isSystematic Layout Planningthe analysis was carried out by comparing the total material handling initial displacement with the proposal. Materialhandlingin the initial layout is . the results of the proposed layout research with material spacinghandlingthe first proposal is 4,763.22 meters and the second is 3,678.6 meters. Based on these results, the proposed layout is chosen the second layout with the minimum displacement distance value.

Abstract

Productivity is one component that must be owned by a company to achieve the goals that have been set. One of the reasons companies find it difficult to achieve their goals is low employee productivity. Therefore it is necessary to make an effort to increase employee productivity because productivity can describe the level of efficiency of employees at work. So this study aims to determine what factors influence work productivity at PT. Putra Nugraha Sentosa and how to increase work productivity. This type of research is quantitative because it uses data that requires calculation and uses qualitative analysis to describe the data that has been obtained so that the data will be clearer. To analyze the author's data using validity test, reliability test, multiple linear regression analysis and partial test (T test) assisted by using the SPSS program. The results of this study obtained that all items in the study could be declared valid and the 5 variables in the study could be declared reliable. Multiple linear regression test obtained the equation Y = 29.252 + 0.302X1 + 0.318X2 + 0.446X3 + 0.467X4 + e. Then from the results of the partial test (T test) it is known that the variables of work discipline, work motivation and work environment have a significant effect on work productivity.

Abstract

PT Sinar Semesta is an industrial company engaged in metal casting, one of which is Base Plate which is located on Jl. Raya Solo-Yogya Km. 26 Klepu, Ceper, Klaten. The problem that arises at PT Sinar Semesta is product quality that needs to be improved so that it can compete with other products on the market. Therefore to improve product quality, PT Sinar Semesta needs to be directly supported by all parties in the company and all operators, especially the production operators. This study used the Seven Tools Quality with the results of the research that in January - December 2021 PT Sinar Semesta produced 2091 Base Plate products, with a total of 301 defects. There were three types of defects studied in January - September 2021, namely perforated with 95 defects in Base Plate products, porous defects with 139 defects, and rough surface defects with 67 defects with a defect percentage of 31.56%, 46, 17%, and 22.26%.

Abstract

Printing is an industry that is constantly evolving and adapting to changing market demands, as well as an increasing focus on sustainability. CV Madyotomo is a company engaged in the printing sector. When excessive incoming orders cause a buildup of print orders of up to 110% of production capacity, this makes employees often have to do overtime. The purpose of this research is to design a PPIC system that is useful for planning and scheduling production so that the entire production process can run smoothly and employees don't have to work overtime too often. PPIC system design can be done using Forecasting with the moving average method and single exponential smoothing. From this research, the results of the forecasting methods used for each level are different. For elementary school level (Elementary School) using the Moving Average method. For junior high school level (junior high school) using the single exponential smoothing method. For SMA level (High School) using the single exponential smoothing method. For MPS (Master Production Schedule) production, the number of daily print orders that must be fulfilled is 78,095. The proposed overtime with MPS in 9 days totals 36 hours. The difference in the frequency of company overtime with overtime according to MPS is as much as 28 hours, this of course will also affect the expenses for the wages paid, of course it will be less than before.

Abstract

PT Asian Isuzu Casting Center (AICC) is a company engaged in the Casting manufacturing industry. Work accidents at PT Asian Isuzu Casting Center (AICC) in 2021 to 2022 there are 8 cases of work accidents, namely the occurrence of hand injuries caught between the roller and the product on the finishing machine line A in August 2022, while in July 2022 in the processing section production of shotblast 2, with a wound The ring finger of the victim's right hand was caught in a pendulum plate which came off while helping with repair maintenance with the victim being lightly injured. In this study, the Hirarc method was used to identify an accident risk that could occur, and the Fmea method was used to analyze a system or material failure and evaluate the effects of the failure. The results of hazard identification show 7 potential hazards that have been identified. At every finishing post. for the Fmea method there are 4 potential hazards at each finishing post. From the results of observations and observations in the field carrying out repair controls such as installing signs on each production line so that the data can serve as a reminder when the operator is working, such as providing special lines for forklift operations (administrative control), safety controls for employees and safety helmets to minimize falling products (PPE), and control of the use of gloves, Provision of APAR in the work area.

Abstract

PT Sinar Semesta is an industrial company engaged in metal casting. The problems that arise at PT Sinar Semesta are what type of disability is the most dominant and what factors influence the type of disability. The purpose of this research is to find out the types of product defects, and the solutions that can be taken to overcome these problems. This study uses the Statistical Quality Control (SQC) method used to control quality from the initial process to the finished product and Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) is used to determine what factors cause defects in the product. Based on the results of a pareto chart analysis from November 2021 to October 2022, the total production was 3008 products, there were 838 defective products. There are two types of defects in the Eq Spacing product, including defects in the tail of rats obtained at a percentage of 91.53% with a cumulative percentage of 91.53% and water defects obtained at a percentage of 8.47% with a cumulative percentage of 100%. Factors causing defects with the greatest weight are careless operators and fatigue for the proposal obtained, namely supervising workers so that accuracy can be maintained.

Abstract

The current business development is quite rapid, especially in the coffee shop business so that the competition between businesses is also increasing, so there is a need for a strategy to attract consumers. The 7P marketing mix strategy is a strategy that can increase product sales by increasing product competitiveness in order to get maximum profit on target. This study aims to determine the marketing mix strategy, as well as the variables that can influence consumer buying interest at the Dodolan Coffe coffee shop. Data collection through interviews, questionnaires, observation and literature study. The results of the study from 95 respondents obtained that from the F test the marketing mix variable 7P simultaneously had a significant effect on purchasing decisions for Dodolan Coffe products of 0.000 <0.05 and the calculated F value was 66.947 > F table 1.86. Other results using the T Test on the decision to buy Dodolan Coffee products, there are 3 variables (People, Promotion, Process) that are influential so that it must be considered, then there are 4 variables (Place, Product, Price, Physical Evidence) that have no effect so they are not a top priority in increasing consumer purchasing power.

Abstract

XYZ is a factory that produces food in the form of bread (Bakery). Seeing the main problems in this company, namely experiencing fluctuations and difficulties for the company in developing its business to increase sales in its marketing strategy. For this reason, strategic business costs are needed to be able to overcome these problems. The purpose of this research is to determine the right business strategy for the company so that it becomes a consideration for the company to increase sales. For this reason, an analysis is carried out by applying the SWOT and QSPM methods. The SWOT method is used to determine the strategy, while the QSPM method is used to determine alternative business strategies that will be used by the company. After conducting the research, the results obtained from the IFAS matrix with a total score of strength = 1.53 and weakness = 1.21, a difference of 0.32 was obtained. While the results of the EFAS matrix with a total score of opportunities = 1.62 and threats = 0.9, a difference of 0.72 is obtained. From the IFAS and EFAS matrices, the SO strategy results are obtained: affordable prices, maximizing good service and product variety as well as employee training. WO: increasing marketing through online media, increasing prices, adding product innovation, and using technology as an advertising medium. ST: improve service quality, add product development, and maintain customer loyalty. WT : maximizing promotions, and optimizing the cost of workloads and more. The results of the alternative QSPM method strategy obtained show the highest score on the WO strategy with a TAS score: 6.39 namely increasing marketing through online media, increasing product prices by adding innovation, and using technology by making digital marketing target markets for advertising.
