Abstract

Abstract: Their curriculum is a new policy that applies to all educational units in Indonesia. Teachers and students as components who feel changes from the curriculum in learning certainly raise perceptions. This study aims to determine (i) teachers' perceptions of the implementation of an independent curriculum in biology subject at SMA Negeri 1 Luwuk, (ii) students' perceptions of implementing an independent curriculum in biology subject at SMA Negeri 1 Luwuk. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach. The population of this study were 3 biology teachers and 352 class X students of SMA Negeri 1 Luwuk for the 2022/2023 academic year with a sample size of 3 biology teachers and 78 class X students. The student sampling technique used a random sampling technique. Data collection techniques used by means of interviews and distribution of instruments. Data were analyzed using a qualitative descriptive method. The results of this study indicate that (i) there are still many obstacles faced by teachers in understanding the independent curriculum, so it is still very necessary to provide independent curriculum training at schools, provinces and the center. While in terms of the facilities and infrastructure available at SMA Negeri 1 Luwuk it can be said to be good as a support for biology learning towards the implementation of the Merdeka curriculum, (ii) Students' perceptions of the implementation of the independent curriculum for biology subjects are good.

Abstract

This study addresses the controversial issue of abortion and applies bioethical analysis to understand its moral and medical implications. In the social and cultural context, abortion raises ethical questions about the right to life, women's well-being, and bodily autonomy. Despite regulations in the Indonesian Health Law, the implementation of abortion remains controversial. The research methodology employs the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Review and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA), analyzing five selected articles from Google Scholar. The findings provide a comprehensive overview of abortion in the contexts of religion, bioethics, law, and psychology. Confronting ethical debates on abortion, this study emphasizes the balance between women's rights, ethical values, and legal considerations as crucial elements. Awareness of diverse perspectives and values in the abortion issue is essential for inclusive and fair policy-making, contributing to a profound understanding and holistic policy development in the field of education.

Abstract

This article examines the comparison of educational treatments in several developing countries through the analysis of the input, process, and output aspects of education. The study employs a comparative method to compare education policies and practices in developed countries. It is conceptual research that gathers data from various sources, including government reports, academic research, and relevant literature such as books, internet sources, and journals. The analysis is conducted by collecting and analyzing information to understand the differences in education systems, the quality of education, and the factors influencing educational output. The study aims to provide deep insights into the construction of educational system development in Indonesia, focusing on the influence on educational output. Education is a domain influenced by various factors, resulting in differences in educational outcomes and quality among countries. The analysis results indicate significant variations in education policies, curricula, teaching methods, and educational resources in the compared countries. This research encourages studying the education systems and implementation in institutions or other countries with the aim of absorbing positive information to improve and enhance education in Indonesia. Considering the analysis results, this article presents an important contribution to the thinking and renewal of education in Indonesia, highlighting areas that need improvement and models that can be adopted to improve overall education quality.

Abstract

Abstract : This study aims to identify the relationship between motivation and student achievement at North Poso City Middle School. The research was carried out at SMP Negara 2 Poso, Poso Kota District, Poso Regency by taking 105 students as illustration objects based on Isaac and Michael's theory of determining the number of illustrations with an error rate of 5% from the total population of 147 students. The research procedure used in this research is quantitative research. The information collection method used is a questionnaire or questionnaire. Questionnaires are used to obtain information about learning motivation influencing student learning achievement results. Analysis of the information shows that motivation ( There is also a hypothesis test result that has been produced, Sig( 0,00) & lt; alpha (0.005), so there is a significant relationship between motivation and student achievement at North Poso City Middle School

Abstract

Abstract: The learning process requires every teacher to create conditions in the learning space so that it can be useful and interesting, which can help students be able to achieve predetermined goals. This research aims to determine students' Biology Science learning outcomes regarding the human respiratory system before and after using learning video media at GKST 3 Tentena Middle School. This research uses a quantitative descriptive approach. The population of this research was 15 students in class VIII The resulting data was analyzed using the t-test technique by explaining and illustrating the data presented in the form of qualitative descriptive tables or graphs. The results of this research show that there are differences in student learning outcomes in the biology science subject material on the human respiratory system for class VIII students at SMP GKST 3 Tentena in using video learning media. This can be seen from the increase in the average pre-test score (22.61) and the average post-test score (48.93). The relationship between the values ??of the two results is moderately correlated, namely a correlation coefficient of 0.5060.
