Abstract

The implementation of effective administrative systems and structured government program data management is essential in supporting transparent and accountable governance. This study aims to describe the optimization of data management for the Kartu Huma Betang Sejahtera program and financial administration at the Bureau of Government, Central Kalimantan Provincial Government. The activity was conducted through the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) internship program using a Service Learning approach with descriptive qualitative methods. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and documentation. The results indicate that administrative support activities—including official travel data input, preparation of accountability and activity reports, document archiving, and management of strategic regional program data—contributed to improving administrative efficiency and data organization. The optimization of these processes supports more structured governance and enhances institutional effectiveness.

Abstract

This activity aims to improve the ability of MSME owners in Sentolo to prepare digital-based financial records. The methods applied in this activity include training and direct assistance for participants. The training was conducted to provide understanding regarding the importance of accounting digitalization, while the mentoring aimed to help participants practice the use of digital financial recording applications directly. The results of the activity showed that MSME owners who previously used simple bookkeeping were able to carry out financial recording in a more structured, systematic, and organized manner. The use of digital applications helped participants record transactions, monitor business financial conditions, and prepare simple financial reports more easily. In addition, this training also increased business owners’ awareness of the importance of separating personal and business finances. Therefore, accounting digitalization assistance can serve as an effective solution for improving the quality of MSME financial management in a sustainable manner.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises play a significant role in Indonesia’s economy. However, in practice, many business owners still do not manage their finances properly. Common issues include the absence of clear transaction records and the mixing of business and personal finances. This activity was conducted to assist MSME,  particularly laundry and photocopy businesses in Sedayu District, Yogyakarta, in preparing simple financial record. The method used was a participatory approach consisting of three stages: observation, socialization, and mentoring. The result show that prior to the assistance, business owners did not records their finances consistently & had difficulty understanding their financial condition clearly. After the program was implemented, there was an improvement in their understanding and skills in preparing simple bookkeeping, including recording cash inflows and outflows and separating personal and business finances. MSME owners were also able to prepare simple financial statements in the form of profit and loss calculations. Therefore, this mentoring activity had a positive impact on improving the quality of financial management among MSMEs, which can support business sustainability and growth.

Abstract

This community service program aimed to improve the preparedness of the residents of Kemawi Village, Somagede District, Banyumas Regency toward the potential risk of landslides. Kemawi Village has hilly topography, high rainfall intensity, and considerable vulnerability to landslides, making efforts to enhance community understanding of disaster mitigation highly necessary. The program was implemented through disaster awareness socialization and participatory Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) involving local residents, village officials, community leaders, and community organizations. The activities covered topics such as early signs of landslides, early warning systems, evacuation routes, and simple community-based mitigation measures. Through these activities, the community demonstrated improved understanding of disaster preparedness and was able to identify landslide-prone areas and formulate mitigation measures based on local conditions. This community service activity is expected to strengthen community capacity in building disaster preparedness and support the development of a sustainable disaster-resilient community.

Abstract

The Bureau of Governance and Regional Autonomy (Biro Pemerintahan dan OTDA) of the Regional Secretariat of Central Kalimantan Province faces complex administrative challenges in managing and verifying Regional Work Plan (RENJA) documents from multiple regional agencies (OPD). Limited administrative human resources, intricate verification requirements based on Permendagri No. 86 Tahun 2017 and Kepmendagri 050-5889, and the high volume of planning documents requiring meticulous checking create significant administrative burdens for the bureau. This community service activity aimed to provide administrative assistance to the Bureau's Administration Unit (Bagian Tata Usaha) in managing, verifying, and archiving RENJA-related documents, conducted from January 22 to May 22, 2026. The author applied participatory administrative assistance, administrative observation, and experiential learning approaches through four stages: observation, administrative assistance, document verification, and evaluation. The results demonstrate that structured administrative assistance contributes meaningfully to the efficiency and quality of RENJA document management in regional government bureaus.

Abstract

Environmental problems such as weed overgrowth and trash accumulation are still commonly found in public areas, particularly along the road connecting Tanggulangin and Jabon Districts. These conditions reduce environmental cleanliness and aesthetics and may negatively affect public health. This community service activity aimed to improve environmental preservation and support community health through an environmental clean-up program integrated with the planting of family medicinal plants (TOGA). The activity applied the Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) approach, emphasizing local asset utilization and active community participation. The implementation stages included field observation, community coordination, environmental clean-up activities, and the planting of medicinal plants such as ginger, turmeric, galangal, and lemongrass on vacant land along the roadside. The results showed improvements in environmental cleanliness, orderliness, and aesthetics, along with increased public awareness and participation in maintaining environmental sustainability and supporting long-term community health.

Abstract

This Community Service (PkM) activity was carried out as an effort to foster social awareness. The background to this activity was related to population density, high unemployment rates, and the large number of elderly residents who were no longer economically active. The method used in this activity was the SWOT approach based on Asset Based Community Development (ABCD), which focuses on utilizing the strengths and local resources of the community. The implementation of this activity included collecting data on residents who needed assistance, distributing basic necessities and financial support, and interacting directly with the community. The results of this activity show that the assistance provided can reduce the burden of basic needs on the community and also increase empathy, social awareness, and a spirit of mutual cooperation. This activity also teaches the younger generation to be more sensitive and responsible towards social issues around them. Overall, this PKM initiative is expected to have a positive and sustainable social impact on the Tropodo Village community.
