Abstract

A paradigm shift in understanding the role of teachers signifies that a teacher's responsibility goes beyond imparting knowledge to students; it also involves shaping a child's character. Teachers must be capable of guiding and directing students to reach their potential in various aspects of life. As change agents, teachers are not just educators but also mentors, motivators, and sources of inspiration for students. The research method used in this study is literature research, with data collection techniques. This research employs the literature review or literature study method. It consists of three phases: organizing the research, synchronizing results, and identifying findings in each literature review. The data analysis technique employed by the researcher is qualitative descriptive analysis. Based on the research, it can be concluded that the paradigm shift reflects a change in the mindset of the teaching approach, including changes in the role and responsibility of teachers.

Abstract

Centered learning on the teacher is considered ineffective in education today. The role of a teacher is not just to transfer knowledge, but also to facilitate students in connecting with their learning resources to achieve meaningful learning. Therefore, teaching and learning activities are less optimal if conducted in only one direction. In line with the new paradigm of learning, teachers must be able to continuously innovate and be creative in delivering student-centered learning. One implementation of student-centered learning is through differentiated learning. The aim of this research is to describe the implementation of the process differentiation learning strategy for grade 10 students. The method used is qualitative descriptive with data collection strategies through direct observation and questionnaires. The research was conducted at SMAN Rambipuji with the research subjects being all grade 10 students. The process differentiation learning strategy is implemented successfully. The research findings show that the implementation of the process differentiation learning strategy is used by teachers as a guide to deliver student-centered learning.

Abstract

Education is a conscious and planned effort in realizing learning. Education is classified into three parts, namely the narrow meaning of education, the broad meaning of education and the alternative meaning of education. However, education changes with the times. The research method used in this study is the literature research method. The data collection technique taken by this study is a technique that collects and reviews from existing journals or research, both national and international research. Regarding the data analysis technique, the researcher took a qualitative descriptive analysis technique. Based on the research, it can be concluded that the independent curriculum is a form of implementing education that is in accordance with the nature and nature of the times that was initiated by Ki Hajar Dewantara.

Abstract

Education is one of the dynamic manifestations of human culture and a prerequisite for development. Education plays a crucial role in creating high-quality and potential individuals as it is the primary means to enhance human resources. A teacher should take a step towards change, such as transforming traditional teaching techniques (lectures) that are teacher-centered into a more creative and innovative approach. One way for teachers to meet the needs of students is by considering diverse learning styles through differentiated learning. The purpose of this study is to describe the implementation of differentiated content and process learning strategies based on the Problem Based Learning model for various learning styles. The method used is qualitative descriptive with data collection strategies through direct observation. The research was conducted at Grujugan High School with the research subjects being all students of class X.1. Through the application of differentiated learning and the Problem Based Learning model, it is expected that teachers can tailor their teaching to the needs of students, thus creating student-centered learning. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of differentiated content and process learning strategies in class X.1 has been successful. Differentiated learning provides an opportunity for students to learn naturally and efficiently with teachers who can collaborate with the methods and approaches needed by students. There was an increase in student activity in learning before the teacher implemented differentiated learning and used the Problem Based Learning model. By understanding the implementation of differentiated learning, it is expected that teachers can tailor their teaching to the needs of students, thereby creating student-centered learning.

Abstract

It is common knowledge that graduates of vocational schools (SMK) are oriented toward the working world. Undoubtedly, English is highly essential to support the competence of these graduates. However, regrettably, English remains a daunting challenge, especially when it comes to speaking skills. Therefore, differentiated learning is of great importance to be implemented. Differentiated learning is a teaching strategy oriented toward the learning needs of students. In this research, the researcher employed differentiated learning, focusing on differentiating content, processes, and environments, with reference to addressing various learning styles. The aim of this research was to enhance the speaking skills of the 11th-grade PM 1 class using differentiated learning. The study utilized the Class Action Research (CAR) method, consisting of two cycles. Each cycle encompassed four stages: planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. Collaborative action research was conducted, involving the collaboration of the researcher and an English teacher serving as a mentor. Data collection involved tests, observations, and presentation assessments. The data analysis employed quantitative descriptive analysis, which presented the results in a descriptive form for quantitative data. Based on the research conducted, it was found that students' speaking skills were very low. In the pretest stage, their average score was 60. In the first cycle, there was an improvement to 70, and in the second cycle, there was a further increase to 85. From these results, it can be concluded that the use of differentiated learning is highly effective in improving the speaking skills of SMK Negeri 1 Banyuwangi 11th-grade PM 1 students.

Abstract

Equitable development is one of the pillars that lead to a golden Indonesia 2045. Equitable development in the aspect of education is the main key for a country to excel in global competition. Education is considered the most strategic field for realizing national welfare. Therefore, students' comfort in learning and ease of access to education must be guaranteed because this is the first step in helping to realize national welfare. Many factors can affect a student's learning outcomes, one of which is inadequate infrastructure. This research aims to explore the influence of infrastructure on student learning continuity. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data was collected using interview and observation techniques. The results show that infrastructure is indeed proven to affect student learning outcomes and in realizing equitable development in this aspect of education there are still challenges that continue to arise, such as lack of funding. Therefore, this study recommends that the central government can focus the state budget in terms of education budget to equalize access to education in Indonesia and realize the creation of national welfare and a superior golden generation.

Abstract

Pendidkan adalah hal penting karena bisa meningkatkan kualitas pada sumber daya manusia. Proses menempuh pendidikan yang cukup dikenal ada dua, yaitu proses dalam kegiatan kulikuler dan proses dalam kegiatan ekstrakulikuler. Kedua proses tersebut mampu membuat sumber daya manusia lebih meningkat dan memudahkan kita dalam mengenali potensi minat dan bakat yang ada dalam diri kita. Penelitian yang sedang dilakukan ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah ada perbedaan antara perolehan prestasi pada mahasiswa fisika dan mahasiswa pendidikan fisika di Departemen Fisika Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian kuantitatif dimana datanya akan dianalisis menggunkan Uji Independent T-test. Sempel sasaran adalah perolehan data mahasiswa tahun 2020, 2022, dan 2023. Dengan jumlah data yang diperoleh 49 mahasiswa pendidikan fisika dan 36 mahasiswa fisika Uji T yang digunakan adalah independent t-test untuk membuktikan data yang digunakan yaitu normal dan homogen. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah H0 diterima dan Ha ditolak artinya tidak perbedaan prestasi yang diperoleh pada data tahun 2020, 2022, dan 2023 antara mahasiswa fisika dengan mahasiswa pendidika fisika.

Abstract

Tujuan dari manajemen tenaga pendidik dan kependidikan secara garis besar ialah: (1) Organisasi mendapatkan tenaga kerja yang cakap, bisa dipercaya, serta memiliki motivasi yang tinggi (2) Meningkatkan dan memperbaiki kemampuan yang dimiliki oleh setiap karyawan (3) Mengembangkan sistem kerja dengan kinerja tinggi yang meliputi prosedur perekrutan serta seleksi yang ketat, sistem kompensasi dan insentif yang disesuaikan dengan kinerja dan kebutuhan organisasi. (4) Menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang tentram, damai dan harmonis. Metode penelitian yang digunakan ialah kuantitatif Dimana hasil yang diperoleh Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif, dengan data diperoleh dari wawancara terkait. Evaluasi kinerja mengukur sejauh mana organisasi mencapai tujuan, visi, dan misinya. Keberhasilahan suatu sekolah tidak dilihat dari peran tenaga pendidik (guru) melainkan peran dari tenaga kependidikan juga). SMPN  40 Surabaya mengatakan terdapat cara mengidentifikasi dalam system evaluasi kinerja mereka yaitu dengan cara: Menggunakan rapot Pendidikan, Evaluasi kinerja pada SMPN 40 Surabaya berpatokan dengan RHK (rencana hasil kerja) dan juga pada PMM (platform merdeka mengajar) serta Rapot pendidikan yang dirilis setiap tahun sekali.

Abstract

Salah satu penilaian terhadap motivasi belajar mahasiswa dapat dilihat melalui perolehan nilai IPK mahasiswa. Semakin tinggi perolehan nilai mahasiswa, maka dikatakan proses pembelajaran tersebut berhasil. Keberhasilan dari proses belajar ini tidak lepas dari peran dosen sebagai insan pengajar. Pemilihan metode pengajaran oleh dosen yang tepat dan sesuai akan membantu mahasiswa dalam mencapai keberhasilan tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuktikan apakah terdapat pengaruh antara metode mengajar dosen terhadap motivasi belajar mahasiswa Politeknik STIA LAN Jakarta. Kedisiplinan, hasil belajar, ketepatan waktu dalam mengikuti proses belajar mengajar, dan kemauan untuk mengerjakan tugas menjadi indikator yang diamati di lokus penelitian. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif dan pengumpulan data menggunakan angket atau kuesioner. Data yang telah didapat selanjutnya diolah dengan software SPSS versi 27. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa angkatan 2022 program studi MSDMA dengan sampel penelitian yang diambil berjumlah 30 mahasiswa. Simpulan dari penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa terdapat pengaruh antara metode mengajar dosen terhadap motivasi belajar mahasiswa Politeknik STIA LAN Jakarta.

Abstract

Lingkungan berperan penting dalam pembentukan karakter dan perilaku seseorang. Banyak studi mengatakan bahwa lingkungan yang mendukung akan memberikan dampak positif bagi seseorang. Sama halnya dengan lingkungan teman sebaya. Oleh karena itu, banyak orang yang selektif dalam memilih teman dan lingkup pertemanan. Untuk membuktikan hal tersebut, maka penulis melakukan penelitian. Tujuan dilakukannya penelitian di Politeknik STIA LAN Jakarta adalah : 1) Mengetahui apakah lingkungan teman sebaya berpengaruh pada motivasi belajar mahasiswa, 2) Mengetahui besar pengaruh lingkungan teman sebaya terhadap motivasi belajar mahasiswa. Indikator yang digunakan untuk mengetahui tingkat motivasi belajar mahasiswa adalah ketepatan waktu, disiplin, dan tekun dalam belajar. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa aktif Politeknik STIA LAN Jakarta program studi MSDMA. Jumlah sampel yang diambil untuk melakukan penelitian berjumlah 30 mahasiswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif dengan menyebarkan angket sebagai teknik pengumpulan data. Selanjutnya, data diolah dengan menggunakan SPSS 27. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa terdapat pengaruh antara lingkungan teman sebaya terhadap motivasi belajar mahasiswa.
