Abstract

The objective of this research is to analyze the financial performance in state own enterprisessof PT Perikanan Nusantara ( PT Usaha Mina, PT Perikanan, PT Tirta Raya Mina, andPT Perikanan Samudra Besar. This Research done on 2009 in each branchs of PT PerikananNusantara. The result show that the cash ratio of PT Perikanan Nusantara is 0.08. TheSolvability value, PT Perikanan Nusantara is below 0.53, though minimum standard of thatsolvability ratio is 1 : 1, in this case cash ratio of PT Perikanan Nusantara is below minimumstandard of solvability ratio. , meaning ability of company to pay for debt of estae had ill assorted.Minimum standard (current ratio 0 which ought to is 2 : 1, in this case current ratio ofPT Fishery of Nusantara reside in far below the mark minimize current ratio that is only 0.24.Meaning, PT Perikanan Nusantara unable to fulfill obligation short-range him, in the formof fluent debt and long-range debt. Depended to this debt can be seen from side of leverageratio PT Perikanan Nusantara which equal to 1.88. This number means that the capital of thecompany is mostly external financing. This suggests that the company depends on the debt,even this company is not stabile yet .Keywords: Cash Ratio, Leverage Ratio, and Solvability Value

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the capacity of family micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) to absorb and manage relevant information from their immediate environment, and incorporate it into their innovative activities. This research also seeks to improve our understanding of the role of diversity in the generation of corporate management. This research was conducted on 126 family MSME owners in Central Java Province who are respondents with criteria that have been operating for 2 years or more and are managed by family members. The type of data in this study was obtained from primary data. Primary data obtained directly from the main source by filling out questionnaires in the form of online (google form) distributed through MSME communities and offline (print out sheets) by visiting the location of MSME families. Data analysis method used in this study is Partial Least Square (PLS) with the help of SmartPLS 3.0 software. The results showed that there was a significant positive effect on absorptive capacity on innovation performance and knowledge management capability in family MSMEs, while the role of generational diversity (multi-generation) did not have a moderating effect in strengthening the relationship between absorptive capacity and innovation performance.

Abstract

Modern lifesytle affects the increasing food and beverage industry. People spend their time at cafe, restaurant, or coffee shop to interact with other people. Consumers are faced with many choices of cafe, restaurant, and coffee shop nowadays. However, people may choose one specific cafe, restaurant, or coffee shop based on perception toward well-being. In otherwords, consumer well-being (CWB) refers to the extent to which a particular consumer good or service creates an overall perception of the quality-of-life impact of that product. This research applied a model which was developed by Sirgy and Grzeskowiak (2007) to predict consumer well- being. The model was tested among 265 respondents. Structural equation modeling was applied to analyze the data. The results indicated that CWB was significantly predicted brandcommunity belongingness, and the effect of brand loyalty on CWB was moderated by selfimage congruence.Keywords: consumer well-being, consumer satisfaction, self-image, brand-community belongingness

Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the role of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) as an intervening variable in mediating the effects of Good Corporate Governance and Leverage for Financial Performance.Samples are 132 companies went public and consists of several industry listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange 2010-2013. Sampling using purposive sampling technique that is based on the completeness of the annual report of each period studied and the conditionsthat have been determined by researchers. To test the hypothesis using linear regression analysis barganda (Multiple Linear Regression) with the application of SPSS version 20.Based on the resultsof data analysisshowedthat theLeverageandCorporateSocial Responsibility (CSR) simultaneously significant effect onfinancial performance. PartiallyGCGsignificant effect onCorporateSocial Responsibility(CSR), whilegood corporate governancedoes not affect thefinancial performance, andLeverageno significant effect onCorporateSocial Responsibility(CSR). VariableCorporate SocialResponsibility (CSR) can becomean intervening variablein mediating theeffects ofGood Corporate GovernanceforFinancial Performance. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to provide empirical evidence about the influence of intellectual capital on the financial performance of the company. This study uses a model Pulic (Value Added Intellectual Coefficient - VAICTM) were identified into three components, namely, capital employed efficiency (CEE), human capital efficiency (HCE) and structural capital efficiency (SCE). This study examines the effect of the three components of the Return On Equity (ROE) and Earnings Per Share (EPS) as the company’s financial performance. The data used in this study is a secondary data from company financial reports in 2011-2013 were obtained from theIndonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The sample was 53 companies in 3 years, bringing the total sample 159. Samples were taken using purposive sampling method and which meet the criteria of sample selection. The results of this study indicate that: (1) Capital Employed Efficiency (CEE) significant positive effect on return on equity (ROE) and Earnings Per Share (EPS). (2) Human Capital Efficiency (HCE) significant positive effect on EPS and no effect on ROE. (3) Structural Capital Efficiency (SCE) significant positive effect on ROE and no effect on EPS.Keywords: capital employed efficiency, Earning Per Share (EPS), efficiency of human capital, return on equity (ROE) structural capital efficiency.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the influence of education and work experience through humancapital on the performance of human resources in an organization. A discussion of the importanceof education, work experience, and human capital to improve HR performance has been widelydiscussed in some literature review. Although a lot of other factors that affect the performanceof HR, this study only discusses about the existence of education, work experience, and humancapital as a determinant of human performance. Data obtained from 75 respondents by usingquestionnaire. Data analysis using SPSS 16 shows that the performance of HR in organizationscan be improved by taking into account the level of education and work experience through thehuman capital of the organization’s human resources. Education and work experience throughhuman capital has a positive and significant effect on the performance of human resources.Keywords: education, work experience, human capital and HR performance

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to improve the objective and subjective career successlecturer at PTIS (private Islamic universities) by stimulating the emotional intelligence, intrinsicmotivation and competence. The population in this study consisted of three Islamic universities inSemarang, namely: Sultan Agung Islamic University (UNISSULA), University of Wahid Hasyim(UNWAHAS) and the University of Muhammadiyah Semarang (UNIMUS). Total questionnairesdistributed to as many as 69 respondents supported by SPSS version 20 as data processorand tools of statistical processing. This study analyzed by linear regression and regressionmoderation. The variables used are: independent variables such as emotional intelligence andintrinsic motivation, moderation variable such as competence and the dependent variable inthe form of objective and subjective career success. The results showed that there is a positiveand significant effect of emotional intelligence on objective and subjective career success andcompetence able to moderate the relationship between intrinsic motivation and career successsubjective.Keywords: Emotional Intelligence, Intrinsic Motivation, Objective Career Success, SubjectiveCareer Success.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the effects of labor market considerations, socialsupport and self efficacy against student entrepreneurial intentions and their impact on careerdecision making. The population used is a student of Islamic University of Sultan AgungSemarang consisting of 6 Faculties of 16,885 people, with a sample size of 100 respondents.The sampling technique is purposive sampling. The analysis tool is multiple linear regression,where previously tested the validity and reliability as well as the classical assumption test.The test results indicate that labor market consideration of entrepreneurial intention showsnegative influence, it can be interpreted that the bigger the consideration of job market, hencethe opportunity of job availability also bigger so that will decrease intention of student to doentrepreneurship. Social support and self efficacy have a positive effect on entrepreneurialintention. Intentional entrepreneurship proved to have a negative influence on career decisionmaking, can be interpreted that the higher the intention of students with a supported matureplan in entrepreneurship, it will further lower students in decision making for a career.Keywords: Job market considerations, social support, self efficacy, intense entrepreneurshipand career decisions

Abstract

This study, aims to examine empirically, the best possible relationship among variables oforganizational transformation, competitive advantage and performance. The research objectis the state owned enterprise (SOE’s) privatization in Indonesian. The analysis unit relatedto the research method, involves a company while the respondents occupied by the primarymanager.The method used for testing the empirical model is the Structural Equation Model onPartial Least Square. The strategic finding, taken from this research,implies in ways of achievingperformances. This reserch aimed to give theory implication on concept Resource BasedView will be meaningfull to create competitive advantage. Besides,the result gives managerialimplications that to improve performance need increasing organizational transformation toincrease competitive advantage. Creating competitive advantage can achive through directrole of organizational transformation. Related to the government policy, the government shouldattention resource in enterprises to become competitiveness as as mediating for successfultransformation organizational to increase performance. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of tax, Exchange rate, tunneling incentive, and leverageto Transfer Pricing. Dependent variable in this study is Transfer Pricing which is proxied withthe value from a related party transaction (RPT) of sale. The independent variables in this studyare tax, Exchange rate, tunneling incentive, and leverage. This study took the secondary datain financial statements or annual reports that have been published by companies in IndonesiaStock Exchange. The population in this study are all the manufacturing companies listed on theIndonesia Stock Exchange in 2012-2016. This study took manufacturing companies listed on theIndonesia Stock Exchange as sample, especially the various industry sectors from years 2012-2016. Sampling technique used in this study was purposive sampling method. The total numberof sample in this study is 35 firm years from seven companies. The analytical method used waslogistic regression analysis using SPSS program version 16. The results of the analysis inthis study indicate that tax, Exchange rate, and tunneling incentive have no significant effect onTransfer Pricing, whereas leverage has a significant positive effect on Transfer Pricing.Keywords: Transfer Pricing, Tax, Exchange rate, Incentive Tunneling, Leverage.
