Abstract

Economic growth is a process of continuous change in a country's economy towards a better situation over a certain period. An economy is said to experience a change if the level of economic activity is higher than that achieved in the previous year. This study aims to determine the effect of independent variables (Poverty, Illiteracy, Unemployment, Years of Schooling, and Life Expectancy) partially or simultaneously on the dependent variable (Economic Growth) in Indonesia in 2010-2021. This research uses time series data on poverty, illiteracy, unemployment, school length, and life expectancy for 11 years. In addition, this study uses multiple linear regression analysis methods as the analytical tool used. The results of this study indicate that the variables of poverty, illiteracy, and unemployment have a negative effect on economic growth in Indonesia. While the variables of years of schooling and life expectancy have a positive effect on economic growth in Indonesia. The variables of poverty, illiteracy, unemployment, years of schooling, and life expectancy simultaneously affect economic growth.

Abstract

This study analyzes the Financial Ratio of the West Lombok Regency Government's Regional Budget Revenue and Expenditure (APBD) from 2018 to 2022. Using a descriptive method, it aims to depict how financial ratios assess the government's financial performance. Results indicate that the regional independence ratio follows an instructive pattern. The effectiveness ratio is deemed ineffective, while the Efficiency Ratio over the last five years is efficient. The operating expenditure activity ratio meets good criteria. Assessing growth ratios, revenue and expenditure in West Lombok Regency have positively increased. Future recommendations include the government intensifying and extending current revenue sources to enhance independence. To boost effectiveness, realistic targets should be set based on the region's potential, preventing overestimation. The West Lombok Regency Government should optimize past growth and expenditure as a reference for future planning while striving to maintain and increase revenue and expenditure realizations annually.

Abstract

This research aims to find out how the practice of pawning rice fields carried out by the farming community in Jerowaru Subdistrict, the impact of the rice field pawn system on the welfare level of Al-Rahin, and evaluate whether the practice of pawning rice fields is in accordance with the Islamic perspective. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Respondents in this study were 10 people. Data collection techniques were carried out by field observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the practice of pawning rice fields carried out in Jerowaru District begins with the rahin coming to the murtahin to borrow money with a rice field pawn agreement. Judging from an Islamic perspective, the practice carried out by Al-Rahin in Jerowaru Subdistrict is not yet appropriate. In terms of the pillars and conditions of the pawn have been fulfilled, but in its implementation it was found that the murtahin utilized the pledged rice field until the rahin was able to pay it off because there was no time limit specified. In addition, the right to manage the rice fields fully falls into the hands of the murtahin. In the practice of pawning rice fields, Al-rahin gets welfare in terms of material elements, namely the fulfillment of clothing, food and shelter. However, Al-rahin does not get welfare from the spiritual element, namely peace, spaciousness, and peace of mind.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse temperature changes in NTT Province over the past 50 years, by comparing two periods, namely period I (1971-2000) and period II (1991-2020). Statistical analysis methods were used to examine temperature differences between the two periods, calculate the percentage of temperature change, and present time series graphs of average monthly temperatures. In addition, spatial analysis was conducted to investigate the seasonal temperature changes of December, January, February (DJF); March, April, May (MAM); June, July, August (JJA); and September, October, November (SON) regionally in NTT Province. Temperature data for 50 years was obtained from the European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts (ECMWF) reanalysis data, providing a strong basis for understanding the dynamics of temperature change with a high degree of accuracy. The results of this study show a steady increase in temperature in the 1991-2020 period by 0.894% compared to the 1971-2000 period, with a positive linear regression (0.0407), while the 1971-2000 period shows a less significant increase (0.0188). Spatial analysis shows a seasonal average temperature increase of 0.957°C in the 1991-2020 period. The findings on climate change characterised by temperature changes are expected to be the basis for more effective adaptation and mitigation policies in the face of climate change at the local level. This research is an important step in understanding the dynamics of climate change in vulnerable areas such as NTT Province.

Abstract

Education plays a crucial role in students' development, and the success of the learning process is highly dependent on teachers' understanding of students' learning problems. This research aims to identify and address students' learning problems in the area of learning. Through case studies, it was found that students like Vega experience learning disengagement, lack of motivation, and difficulty managing time. The analysis concluded that internal and external factors influenced the learning problems, including lack of parental attention and an unsupportive peer environment. Prognosis indicated that without treatment, students were at risk of getting low grades, declining learning achievement and falling behind. However, with appropriate treatment, students can overcome these problems, complete assignments on time, improve achievement and make their parents proud. Handling involves a personal approach, providing motivation, and collaborating with parents. Evaluation is done through making students aware of the problem, understanding the importance of completing assignments well, and active attention in learning. The obstacle in this research is the limited time due to the parallel tasks of Pendidikan Profesi Guru (PPG) Dalam Jabatan (daljab). Thus, this research provides a comprehensive picture of the identification, analysis and handling of student learning problems to improve the quality of learning.
