Abstract

The expansion of the East Java Trans Bus service to Lamongan and Bangkalan is a process of forming and setting a strategy for developing public transportation services that are safe, comfortable and affordable for the people of East Java. It is hoped that this expansion will make it easier for workers to obtain adequate transportation facilities and help the community to reach the economic and government center of Surabaya. Trans Jatim has been a mainstay of the community since its launch and is always in demand. With the expansion of the route to Lamongan and Bangkalan, it is hoped that it can provide much better public transportation services to meet the community's needs. The expansion of the East Java Trans Bus service to Lamongan and Bangkalan aims to determine the increase in public transportation services and also to determine the increase in Regional Original Income (PAD). This research uses the literature study method with the process of collecting data, journals, articles and information related to the topic under study. The presence of this service is expected to reduce road congestion, reduce pollution, reduce the number of accidents and reduce exhaust emissions. With the expansion of this service, it is hoped that it can become a milestone for efficient and sustainable transportation in East Java Province.

Abstract

DKI Jakarta faces significant traffic congestion due to the increasing population and number of motor vehicles. This research uses a qualitative approach through literature review to identify the factors causing congestion and to formulate effective solutions.The findings reveal that congestion is caused by high private vehicle usage, low use of public transportation, and limited road space. The proposed solutions in this study include improving public transportation infrastructure, implementing an odd-even traffic policy, and enforcing a 3 in 1 rule for cars. The analysis results show that implementing the odd-even policy is the most effective solution to reduce congestion. This policy has proven to reduce the volume of vehicles on the road and encourages the public to switch to public transport, significantly reducing exhaust emissions, improving air quality, increases the efficiency of road space usage, and lowers the traffic accident rate. The success of this solution requires active support and participation from the public. Therefore, the government needs to continuously involve the public in the decision-making process and provide adequate education about the impact and urgency of congestion issues. Collaboration between the government and the public is crucial to creating effective solutions to address congestion and enhance sustainable mobility in Jakarta.

Abstract

Early marriage is a common social phenomenon and causes the number of early marriages in Indonesia to rise from year to year. The factors that occur can influence a person's decision to marry at a young age. Decision-making is a process of choosing the alternative that the individual considers to be the best. It encompasses the stages through which the individual must go, at each stage the individual is confronted with the alternative he has to choose in achieving the desired goal. The method in this research uses descriptive qualitative research, with the approach of the type of research that is literature study or library study. The results of the study suggest that there are several factors that need to be considered in decision-making to be able to marry at a young age. In addition, internal and social factors are subject considerations that need to be taken into account in the decision-making process including a person's mental or psychological readiness, economic factors, and also social support.

Abstract

Genocide is a serious crime, which includes an act of massacre against an ethnic or religious group with the aim of destroying the existence of that group. The existence of legal action against the perpetrators of this genocide can be a very crucial issue in efforts to uphold justice, and can also prevent the recurrence of similar crimes in the future. The process of carrying out a trial against the perpetrators of this genocide, starting from an arrest to a trial and also the imposition of punishment. There is a role for an institution that is carried out internationally, such as the existence of a criminal trial carried out by the International, and also the existence of a national legal mechanism that can also overcome the crime of genocide. The existence of a process in this court can face various challenges and the collection of evidence is very adequate. Not only that, the overlap between national and international courts can add complexity to the legal process.

Abstract

Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) is a contagious disease that originates from the Aedes Aygpty mosquito and is caused by the Dengue virus. Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) has long been known in Indonesia, where it can spread and become an epidemic, disrupting the social life of communities in a region. Marpoyan Damai District is one of the district with the highest incidence of Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) in the city of Pekanbaru. The purpose of this study is to determine the Implementation of the Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) eradication policy and to identify the factors that influence its implementation. This study uses a descriptive research method with a qualitative approach. The theoretical concept used is from Charles O. Jones` policy implementation model, which includes Organization, Interpretation, and Application/Implementation. The result of the study show that the implementation of the Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) eradication policy in Marpoyan Damai District has not been fully effective, as seen from the low understanding of the community regarding mosquito breeding site eradication activities (PSN) and the inactivity of the Operational Work Group (Pokjanal) for the eradication of Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) disease.

Abstract

Leadership in an organization greatly influences employees, especially the style applied by a leader to influence employees to be ethical and behave in accordance with applicable norms. In accordance with the Kuantan regent's regulations, article 5 number 37 of 2018 concerning the obligation to be a leader to guide and direct subordinates to behave ethically in carrying out their duties. This is related to the style applied by the Pangean sub-district head in the Pangean sub-district head's office, Kuantan Singingi Regency. The purpose of this research is to find out the style of the Pangean sub-district head and what factors hinder the sub-district head in enforcing employee discipline in the Pangean sub-district office. The theory used in the research is the theory of Hersey and Blancard in Pasalong(2013:50-51) which uses indicators of leader instruction style, leader consultation style, leader participation style, and leader delegation style. A qualitative descriptive research method was used, which involved collecting data through observation and interviews as well as documentation. Data analysis used includes collection, reduction, presentation and drawing conclusions. According to the research results, the sub-district head's style in enforcing employee discipline in the Pangean sub-district sub-district office in terms of instructions is quite optimal, seen from the implementation of morning and afternoon roll calls, there the sub-district head can provide motivation and direction to employees. In terms of consultation, it doesn't play a role because the sub-district head doesn't consult enough with employees when employees commit violations. In terms of participation, it is good and in terms of delegation, the sub-district head is quite good, but it must be improved so that employees can be disciplined well, so that they can provide satisfaction to the community and the goals they achieve. planned can be achieved optimally

Abstract

Policy decision making in dealing with online gambling is based on several factors. This journal article analyzes policy decision making in handling online gambling in Indonesia by policy makers. This research uses descriptive research methods with a literature study approach. Analysis theory is based on decision making according to George R. Terry and Brinckloe, such as intuition, experience, facts, authority and logic. The research results obtained are that in Indonesia, the criminal law approach to online gambling is contained in Article 27 paragraph (2) of Law Number 11 of 2008 concerning Information and Electronic Transactions. The government considers the interests of society, sustainability and the long-term impact of the decisions taken. Transparency and accountability in decision making is the government's responsibility to ensure fair and sustainable policies. Thus, the government's role as a decision maker involves many complex factors and considerations to achieve good policies that have a positive impact on society.

Abstract

The high rate of prostitution in the city of Surabaya has caused various problems in the city. Gang Dolly localization is the largest prostitution business in Southeast Asia that has violated morals and created an increase in crime rates, such as abuse, drug use, theft, and human trafficking, namely exploitation of women. So the Surabaya City Government made a decision to close the Gang Dolly localization. This is in line with the policy of Regional Regulation No. 7/1999 on the Prohibition of Using Buildings/Places for Immoral Acts and Solicitation to Perform Immoral Acts. The purpose of this research is to find the root cause of the existence of Gang Dolly. The method used in the preparation of this article is a systematic literature review using the Problem Tree Analysis technique. The causes of the closure of dolly alley were caused by several things such as the high economic pressure experienced by prostitutes, low interest in pursuing higher education, lack of firm policy implementation, the existence of historical traces that were used as reasons for the establishment of dolly alley, and social influences that had an impact on the mindset of prostitutes. These causes have an impact on prostitutes and the community such as the high rate of spread of HIV and AIDS, the high rate of crime and exploitation of women, the disruption of biological and psychological growth in early childhood, the emergence of a negative stigma towards prostitutes that creates high social pressure, and the poor image of the city of Surabaya.

Abstract

This study analyzes the impact of Facebook's algorithm on political polarization in Medan during the 2024 elections. Facebook's algorithm is designed to personalize content based on user interactions and preferences, which can create echo chambers and filter bubbles, reinforcing existing political beliefs and reducing openness to different viewpoints. Using a mixed-method approach that includes content analysis and user surveys, this research explores how content recommendation algorithms influence user interactions, the dissemination of political information, and the formation of polarized social groups. The findings show that Facebook's algorithm significantly contributes to political polarization in Medan during the 2024 elections. Recommendations to mitigate the negative effects of political polarization are also presented, including policies and practices for more mindful management of social media algorithms.

Abstract

One of the factors that is very determining in efforts to improve the quality of human resources through education is the teaching staff or theachers, seeing this role, teachers must have agood and correct personality, be able to carry out their functions well, teachers must have certain conditions that have been metregulated in statutory regulations, in law number 14 of 2005 concerning teachers and lectures article 8. This research uses qualitative research with a population of 41 people and a sample of 20 people. Based on the research results. It shows that the efforts made are to provide opportunities for undergraduate teachers to take part in the PKB program to obtain a development certificate professionalism to then take certification. In creating this program ,the main targets were teachers in Takalar Regency,especially basic education teachers, with the aim of supporting efforts to accelerate the improvement of teacher quality so that they can have a positive impact in transmitting knowledge to students.
