Abstract

Many companies carry out business combinations by way of mergers. The reason is because there are "additional benefits" that will be obtained or the company will be able to achieve faster growth than having to build its own business units. This study aims to analyze financial performance using financial statement ratios in a merger company, namely PT Ciputra Development Tbk. This research uses quantitative research methods. Quantitative data used were obtained from the Indonesia Stock Exchange www.idx.co.id and the company's website. In this study, we will discuss the ratios of financial statements that have a relationship with financial performance.

Abstract

Student management in education which includes planning, organizing, controlling, and evaluating the learning process as well as managing student behavior. The main objective is to create an effective, inclusive, and supportive learning environment that promotes the holistic development of each student. Some of the principles of student management include goals that are aligned with school management, activities that support educational goals, building student unity, good mentoring, and encouraging student independence. The scope of student management includes analysis of student needs, student recruitment, student selection, student orientation, student grouping, student leadership and development, and registration and reporting. This document also discusses the importance of understanding the characteristics of each student, creating a safe and comfortable learning environment, facilitating effective learning, encouraging active participation, building positive relationships, developing social skills, leadership, and supporting students' holistic development.

Abstract

In this era of very rapid growth of information systems, the security of information is something that must be considered, because if information can be accessed by unauthorized or irresponsible people, then the accuracy of the information will be doubted, it will even become information that is healed. Basically a secure system will protect the data in it such as user assistance (user identification), user authentication (user authentication), user authorization (user authorization). Several possible attacks (Hacking) that can be carried out, such as Intrusion, denial of services, joyrider, vandals, piracy, sniffing, spoofing and others. There are many kinds of threats to information systems, including: data theft, illegal use of systems, illegal data destruction, illegal data modification, system failures, human error (HR-human resources), natural disasters. The purpose of information security is prevent threats to the system and detect and repair damage that occurs to the system.

Abstract

In this day and age, we are no strangers to technology where this is very common among people in the world. In this process of globalization, which is increasingly increasing, it can cause changes in people's mindsets. Ordinary people who initially did not know what technology was, now everyone knows. The world which is surrounded by globalization can change the way of thinking of ancient society to become modern, where this can bring positive and negative sides. The negative side because of the development of globalization that gave rise to this technology is none other than the existence of social media content that is inappropriate for people or children to display on their social media homepages. And the positive side with this technology is that it can express people's creativity to be uploaded on social media, this can be seen from an economic perspective that can generate money. like selling ideas posted on social media, a YouTuber, etc.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mengevaluasi penerapan sistem pengendalian intern terhadap persediaan obat di Puskesmas Gampeng Kabupaten Kediri. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dimana data yang digunakan adalah data primer dan data sekunder. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan cara menganalisa data dalam bentuk penjelasan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan sistem pengendalian intern terhadap persediaan obat di Puskesmas Gampeng Kabupaten Kediri sudah berjalan dengan baik meskipun belum stabil, karena masih terdapat rangkap tugas antara kepala farmasi dengan pengadaan obat. Catatan akuntansi masih secara manual sehingga memungkinkan terjadinya pemalsuan data.

Abstract

One of the goals of the state is to create fair and prosperous society by carrying out development in various fields including the fields of economy, education and infrastructure. The country's development certainly requires large amounts of funds, but not all countries have these funds. The lack of funds which needed by the state is an entry point for investors to invest their capital, which is through foreign investment. Besides the investment, foreign investment also brings expertise, technology transfer, and can increase the productivity of the host country. However, the implementation of foreign investment do not always go well, investment problems will arise and in the end it can become foreign investment dispute. Investment dispute settlement is an important part of foreign investment in Indonesia and that is the form of protection for foreign investors. Investment disputes settlement in Indonesia begins with deliberation and consensus. If the deliberation and consensus not achieved, then the parties can take investment dispute settlement through international arbitration. The most common international investment dispute settlement mechanism is Investor-State Dispute Settlement (ISDS). Beside that, there is State-State Dispute Settlement (SSDS) mechanism. Submission of international investment disputes can be submitted to international arbitration forums, through International Centre for Investment Dispute (ICSID). One of the cases of foreign investment disputes that involved Indonesia is between Rafat Ali Rizvi and Republic of Indonesia.

Abstract

To improve the investment climate and increase foreign investment, the Government can make policies that refer to international standard parameters. Business Ready (B-READY) is a parameter to measure investment and business climate that can be used by investors to determine the host country. One of the things assessed in B-READY is related to aspects of secured transactions as part of the assessment of the financial services sector. Access to finance is one of the important things in the sustainability of a business. Secured transactions are one of the instruments commonly used in providing financing. With the juridical normative method, this paper will emphasize the use of secondary data related to the B-READY assessment methodology and laws and regulations related to secured transactions in Indonesia. Based on the analysis carried out, it is found that there is a fragmentation of regulations related to secured transactions, which is not in line with the assessment of indicators on B-READY that require an integrated regulatory framework regarding secured transactions. This paper considers that it is necessary for the regulatory framework related to secured transactions to adopt the assessment indicators on aspects of secured transactions in the B-READY parameter.

Abstract

Indonesia in its economic proportion can be categorized as an industrial country. This is because the industrial sector is the largest contributor to the national economy with its contribution reaching more than 20 percent. The manufacturing industry is one of the industries that drives the national economy. Pekalongan City has a very large and iconic manufacturing industry potential. One of the leading industries in Pekalongan city is Batik. The manufacturing industry in batik products is expected to be a strong, resilient, and growing industry. To find out the results, this research will get a lot of learning about the superior industrial strategy of Pekalongan City. To be able to achieve these goals, this research uses descriptive qualitative research methods. In Pekalongan City, the Manufacturing Industry is engaged in 9 sub-sectors of the Processing Industry where the Textile and Textile Products Industry sector will continue to strengthen due to its labor-intensive nature and become a Social Safety Net that supports the income of residents and workers in Pekalongan.

Abstract

Efforts to develop the industrial sector in a country or region is an Industrialization strategy. The goal of this strategy is to increase the production of goods and services more efficiently and effectively, so as to increase economic growth and reduce dependence on other economic sectors such as agriculture or services. The historical approach emphasizes the use of economic policies based on historical experience and national economic traditions to build national industries. While the pragmatic approach focuses more on using practical actions to improve industrial conditions and the national economy and accelerate the industrialization process.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how much the processing industry contributes to East Java's economic growth. This type of research uses descriptive research methods. Based on its nature, the types of data to be collected in this study are qualitative data and quantitative data. Data sources in this study include secondary data sources, namely parties who have collected and processed data from the first party. The secondary sources of this research are the Central Bureau of Statistics of Java province in the form of East Java growth data from 2012 to 2016 and the East Java Provincial Perindag Office in the form of quarterly time series data for the period 2012 to 2016. The results showed that the processing industry sector had a positive and significant effect on the economic growth of East Java Province.
