Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of leadership style and work productivity on employee performance both partially and simultaneously. This study uses a quantitative approach with a saturated sampling method on the entire population of DPMPTSP employees totaling 59 respondents. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression and validity, reliability, T-test, F-test, and coefficient of determination tests with the help of SPSS software version 21. The results of the t-test that leadership style (X1) has a significant effect on work performance, can be seen from the calculated t value of 3.365> t table 2.003 and a significance value of 0.001 <0.05, Work productivity (X2) has a significant effect on performance obtained a calculated t value of 2.333> t table 2.003 and a significance value of 0.023 <0.05. The f test obtained a calculated f value of 30.680 > f table 3.16 and a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, so it can be concluded simultaneously that leadership style and work productivity have a significant effect on employee performance. Leadership style contributes an influence of 47.6%, work productivity of 42.6%, and both simultaneously explain 52.3% of employee performance variables. These findings provide strategic recommendations for government agencies to improve employee performance through strengthening leadership and increasing work productivity.

Abstract

Employee performance is not merely a benchmark stipulated by an organization; rather, it constitutes a pivotal determinant that substantially contributes to the attainment of corporate objectives and long-term sustainability. Superior performance illustrates the extent to which employees are capable of executing their designated responsibilities, which subsequently exerts a direct influence on organizational productivity, efficiency, and growth trajectory. Among the multidimensional variables affecting performance, two particularly salient aspects are work discipline and work motivation. Discipline functions as a regulatory mechanism that ensures adherence to established norms, policies, and operational procedures, while motivation operates as an internal drive that fosters persistence, engagement, and consistency in accomplishing tasks. Collectively, these two dimensions are assumed to exert a decisive influence on performance outcomes. The present study endeavors to examine the impact of work discipline and work motivation on employee performance within CV Arga Jaya, located in Depok City. Employing a quantitative research design, this investigation utilizes multiple linear regression analysis facilitated through SPSS version 27. The study encompasses a population comprising employees from both administrative and operational divisions, yielding a total of 43 valid respondents. Data were elicited through the administration of structured questionnaires as the principal instrument. The empirical results reveal that work discipline (X1) and work motivation (X2) simultaneously exert a significant influence on performance (Y), corroborated by an F-count of 6.38 exceeding the F-table value of 3.23 with a significance level of 0.004. Partial analysis indicates that work discipline (X1) has a significant positive impact, with a T-count of 2.377 surpassing the T-table threshold of 2.021. Conversely, work motivation (X2) demonstrates no significant partial effect, as evidenced by a T-count of 1.339 and a significance level of 0.188. The coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.242 suggests that 24.2% of the variation in performance is explained by these factors, whereas 75.8% is attributable to variables beyond the scope of this study.

Abstract

This study is based on the importance of maintaining a balance between work and personal life, as well as discipline, in supporting employee performance—particularly in the public sector. The objective of this research is to analyze the influence of work-life balance and work discipline on the performance of employees at the Department of Transportation in Depok City. A quantitative approach was used, employing a survey method. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 51 respondents and analyzed using multiple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS 26 software. The results indicate that the work-life balance variable (X1) significantly influences employee performance, as evidenced by a t-value of 3.787 > t-table value of 2.011 and a significance level of 0.000 < 0.05. In contrast, the work discipline variable (X2) does not have a significant partial effect, as shown by a t-value of 0.271 < t-table and a significance level of 0.787 > 0.05. However, simultaneously, both variables significantly influence employee performance, as shown by an F-value of 7.685 > F-table and a significance level of 0.001 < 0.05. The results of the coefficient of determination test show an R Square value of 0.243. This indicates that work-life balance (X1) and work discipline (X2) collectively explain 24.3% of the variation in employee performance (Y), while the remaining 75.7% is influenced by other factors beyond the scope of this study.

Abstract

In the ever-evolving business landscape, student work readiness plays a vital role as a foundation for successful entry into the workforce. This study aims to examine the factors influencing student work readiness by analyzing the effects of academic achievement, internship experience, competence, and work motivation among management students at Gunadarma University Kalimalang. The research employs a quantitative approach using primary data collected through questionnaires distributed to 250 respondents. Data were analyzed using SmartPLS 4.0 with various statistical tests, including convergent validity, discriminant validity, Average Variance Extracted (AVE), R-Square, predictive relevance (Q²), and path coefficient analysis. The findings reveal that academic achievement and work motivation significantly and positively affect students’ work readiness, indicating that strong academic performance and high motivation enhance preparedness for entering the workforce. Conversely, internship experience and competence do not have a significant impact on students’ work readiness, suggesting that practical experience and skill development may not be fully integrated into the academic process. This study underscores the importance of fostering motivation and maintaining academic excellence to improve graduate employability and readiness in a competitive job market.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the influence of promotion and organizational culture on employee work motivation at the Bureau of Organization and Human Resources (OSDM) of the Ministry of Industry of the Republic of Indonesia. A quantitative approach was employed using multiple linear regression analysis. The study involved 40 employee respondents. The regression results indicated that promotion had a significant partial effect on work motivation, with a regression coefficient of 0.626 and a significance level of 0.003 (t-value = 3.160 > t-table = 2.026). Similarly, organizational culture also had a significant partial effect, with a regression coefficient of 0.400 and a significance level of 0.040 (t-value = 2.129 > t-table = 2.026). Simultaneously, both independent variables exerted a significant influence on work motivation, as shown by an F-value of 11.656 and a significance level of 0.000. The coefficient of determination (R Square) of 0.387 indicates that 38.7% of the variance in work motivation is explained by promotion and organizational culture, while the remaining 61.3% is attributed to other factors outside the model.
