Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of customer experience and service quality on customer loyalty, with customer satisfaction as a mediating variable. Using a quantitative approach and explanatory research method, data was obtained through the distribution of questionnaires to 96 respondents who were selected through purposive sampling techniques and were consumers of Warmindo "X" in Malang City. Data analysis was carried out using the Partial Least Square – Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method with the help of the SmartPLS application. The results of the study show that customer experience and service quality have a significant effect on customer satisfaction. Furthermore, customer satisfaction has been proven to have a direct influence on customer loyalty. However, the quality of service does not have a direct influence on customer loyalty, thus showing the important role of the mediation variable. Customer satisfaction has been proven to be able to mediate the relationship between customer experience and service quality to customer loyalty. These findings are in line with the Expectancy-Disconfirmation theory, SERVQUAL, and Customer Experience Theory, which emphasize the importance of consumer perception of quality and experience in shaping satisfaction and loyalty. The practical implications of this study encourage Warmindo "X" managers in Malang City to consistently improve the quality of service and create a pleasant and memorable dining experience. These efforts are believed to increase satisfaction and maintain consumer loyalty in the long term, especially in the midst of increasingly competitive competition in the culinary industry. In addition, this research also makes a theoretical contribution in understanding the mediation mechanism in the relationship between service marketing variables. Further research is expected to explore additional variables such as price, dining atmosphere, or service personalization that may also affect customer loyalty.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and determine the extent to which discounts and product quality influence purchasing decisions for Somethinc products, with product reviews as a moderating variable. The background of this study is based on the increasingly fierce competition in the cosmetics industry, which encourages manufacturers to implement effective marketing strategies, one of which is through providing discounts, improving product quality, and utilizing consumer reviews. The type of research used is quantitative with a causal approach. The data used is primary data obtained through the distribution of online questionnaires to respondents who meet the criteria. The study population is Somethinc product users who make purchases through the Shopee e-commerce platform. The sampling technique used the convenience sampling method with a sample size of 160 respondents. Data analysis was carried out using the Partial Least Square (PLS) method with the help of SmartPLS 3.0 software. The results of the study indicate that discounts have a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions, indicating that the more attractive the discount offered, the more likely consumers are to make a purchase. Similarly, product quality has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions, meaning that the better the product quality perceived by consumers, the higher the tendency to buy. However, the results of the moderation effect test revealed that product reviews were unable to moderate the relationship between discounts and product quality on purchase decisions. This indicates that while product reviews can be a factor in consumer considerations, their influence is not strong enough to strengthen or weaken the relationship between these two independent variables and purchase decisions. This finding has implications for cosmetics businesses, particularly Somethinc, to focus more on pricing strategies and improving product quality as key factors in driving consumer purchase decisions.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of digital marketing and online customer reviews on purchasing decisions at Toko Oleh2in Cilegon. The primary focus of this research is to analyze the partial effects of digital marketing on purchasing decisions, the effect of online customer reviews on purchasing decisions, and the simultaneous impact of both variables on purchasing decisions. The respondents in this study consisted of 130 people, selected using a non-probability sampling technique with purposive sampling, meaning the sample was chosen based on specific criteria relevant to the research objectives. Data collection was carried out through the distribution of questionnaires to respondents, which were then analyzed using a quantitative approach. The data were analyzed using linear regression to determine how each independent variable influences purchasing decisions. The results of the study indicate that digital marketing has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions. This suggests that the more effective the digital marketing strategy, the higher the likelihood of customers making a purchase. Additionally, online customer reviews also have a positive and significant impact on purchasing decisions. This finding shows that online reviews play a crucial role in helping potential buyers make informed decisions by providing clearer and more reliable information about products or services. Overall, both independent variables—digital marketing and online customer reviews—were found to have a significant impact on purchasing decisions, both partially and simultaneously. These findings provide valuable insights for Toko Oleh2in Cilegon to enhance their digital marketing efforts and facilitate customer reviews, ultimately leading to improved purchasing decisions and stronger business competitiveness.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of liquidity (Current Ratio / CR), profitability (Return on Equity / ROE), and systematic risk (Beta) on stock returns in energy sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the period 2021–2024. The research method used is quantitative with an associative approach. Samples were selected using purposive sampling techniques, resulting in 20 companies with a total of 80 observations. Data analysis was carried out through descriptive statistics, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression, t tests, F tests, and determination coefficient (R²) tests. The results of the study show that partially, liquidity and systematic risk do not have a significant influence on stock returns. On the other hand, profitability (ROE) has been shown to have a significant positive effect on stock returns. Simultaneously, all three independent variables—liquidity, profitability, and systematic risk—affect stock returns, although the dominant contribution comes from profitability. These findings indicate that investors need to pay more attention to profitability indicators in assessing potential stock returns, especially in the energy sector which has characteristics of volatility and dependence on external factors. This research provides practical implications for investors and financial managers in formulating more measurable investment strategies, as well as encouraging the strengthening of fundamental analysis as a basis for investment decision-making in the Indonesian capital market.

Abstract

Profit growth serves as a primary benchmark for evaluating financial standing, particularly within the healthcare industry which demands elevated levels of efficiency and superior financial stewardship. As healthcare companies face increasingly competitive environments and high operational costs, the ability to generate sustainable profits becomes a critical determinant of long-term viability. This study aims to examine the impact of Return on Equity (ROE) and Total Asset Turnover (TATO) on the profit growth of healthcare companies registered on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the 2019–2023 period. The research employed a quantitative approach using secondary data, with a sample of 10 companies selected through purposive sampling. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression, supported by classical assumption testing, t-tests, F-tests, and the coefficient of determination (R²). The results revealed that ROE had a positive and partially significant effect on profit growth, while TATO showed a positive but not significant influence. However, when tested simultaneously, both variables demonstrated a significant relationship, with the model explaining 23.9% of the variance in profit growth. These findings suggest that profitability ratios, particularly ROE, play a more decisive role in determining financial performance in healthcare companies compared to activity ratios. The study highlights the importance for healthcare firms to optimize equity utilization in order to enhance sustainable profit growth and shareholder value.

Abstract

Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) play a crucial role in driving economic growth at both local and regional levels, including in Malang Regency. Their presence not only creates new job opportunities but also stimulates the economic activities of local communities. Nevertheless, SME actors still face a number of significant challenges. These include limited capital, incomplete business legality, low managerial capacity, and restricted access to wider markets. Such conditions often hinder SMEs from optimizing their competitiveness. This research aims to examine the implementation of SME empowerment programs carried out by the Cooperative and Micro Business Office in Kepanjen, as well as to identify supporting and inhibiting factors. The study employed a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through in-depth interviews and documentation studies. The findings reveal that SME empowerment was implemented through various programs, such as training to enhance skills, continuous business mentoring, facilitation of access to financing through financial institutions, and product promotion via exhibitions and digital platforms. These programs have provided positive impacts by strengthening the capacity and visibility of SMEs in the region. The success of these programs is supported by the strong commitment of the local government, synergy among institutions, and active participation of SME actors. On the other hand, several obstacles remain, such as low digital literacy among entrepreneurs, difficulties in obtaining financing due to legal constraints, and complex bureaucratic processes. The results of this research emphasize that SME empowerment requires adaptive strategies, continuous mentoring, and proper program mapping in accordance with local conditions.

Abstract

Inventory management is a crucial aspect in improving operational efficiency, particularly for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) such as grocery stores. This study aims to analyze the effect of implementing the First In First Out (FIFO) method on operational efficiency at Reni Grocery Store. Prior to applying FIFO, the inventory system in the store was poorly organized, often resulting in losses due to expired or damaged goods. Since March 2025, FIFO has been implemented by placing older items at the front of the shelves, while new items are consistently placed at the back, accompanied by routine checks of expiration dates. This research employs a qualitative approach using in-depth interviews with the store owner as the main subject. The findings indicate that FIFO positively influences operational efficiency, as reflected by reduced expired goods, improved stock recording, and more organized product flow. These results are consistent with previous studies, such as Pratama & Sari (2020), which showed FIFO reduced losses by up to 25%, as well as Suharto et al. (2021) and Rahman (2022), who emphasized that FIFO enhances stock accuracy and distribution efficiency. Nevertheless, this study also reveals limitations, including limited storage space and a lack of manpower for routine checks, which prevent FIFO implementation from being fully optimal.
