Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Minimum Service Standards (MSS) policy in the social sector in Gorontalo Province and identify factors influencing its effectiveness. The study used a qualitative approach with a case study design, using data collection techniques such as in-depth interviews, observation, and document analysis. Data analysis was conducted thematically with reference to the policy implementation model, specifically the variables of communication, resources, disposition, and bureaucratic structure. The results indicate that the implementation of the MSS in the social sector in Gorontalo Province is not yet fully optimal, characterized by fluctuating service outcomes and not consistently meeting quality standards. The main factors influencing implementation include limited resources (budget, human resources, and infrastructure), ineffective cross-sector communication and coordination, and obstacles within the bureaucratic structure. However, the relatively high disposition of implementers is a supporting factor in maintaining the sustainability of program implementation. In addition, external conditions such as economic, social, and political factors also influence the effectiveness of policy implementation. This study contributes theoretically by strengthening the relevance of the policy implementation model in the context of regional social services, and empirically provides an overview of the dynamics of MSS implementation in Eastern Indonesia. Practically, the results of this study recommend strengthening institutional capacity, improving the quality of resources, and strengthening cross-sector coordination to increase the effectiveness of policy implementation.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of culinary experience quality and the authenticity of local food on word of mouth (WOM) and memorable tourism experiences (MTE) in the context of culinary tourism in Bandung. A quantitative approach was employed using data collected from 250 respondents who had participated in culinary tourism activities in Bandung. Data were gathered through a structured questionnaire using a five-point Likert scale and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS-3). The results indicate that culinary experience quality and food authenticity both have significant positive effects on memorable tourism experiences and word of mouth. Additionally, memorable tourism experiences significantly influence word of mouth and act as a mediating variable in the relationship between culinary experience quality, food authenticity, and WOM. The model demonstrates strong explanatory power, with R² values of 0.682 for MTE and 0.741 for WOM. These findings highlight that high-quality and authentic culinary experiences not only enhance tourists’ memories but also encourage them to share positive experiences with others. This study contributes to the literature by integrating experiential and authenticity perspectives in culinary tourism research. Practically, the findings provide insights for tourism stakeholders in Bandung to enhance service quality, preserve culinary authenticity, and create memorable experiences to strengthen destination competitiveness and stimulate positive word of mouth.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of electronic invoice automation and internal control systems on reducing tax adjustments in distribution companies in East Java. The research adopts a quantitative approach using primary data collected from 65 respondents through structured questionnaires measured on a Likert scale. Data analysis was conducted using IBM SPSS Statistics version 25, including validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, and multiple linear regression analysis. The results show that electronic invoice automation has a significant negative effect on tax adjustments, indicating that the implementation of automated systems improves accuracy and minimizes discrepancies in tax reporting. Internal control systems also demonstrate a significant negative influence on tax adjustments, highlighting their role in ensuring compliance, preventing errors, and strengthening financial reporting processes. Simultaneously, both variables significantly affect tax adjustments, suggesting that the integration of digital systems and effective control mechanisms enhances overall tax compliance. The coefficient of determination indicates that 57.9% of the variation in tax adjustments can be explained by electronic invoice automation and internal control systems. This finding emphasizes the importance of combining technological innovation with organizational governance to reduce fiscal risks. The study contributes to the literature by providing empirical evidence on the effectiveness of digital taxation systems and internal controls, and offers practical implications for companies and policymakers in improving tax compliance and operational efficiency.

Abstract

Cases of bullying in Islamic boarding schools continue to occur, while traditional approaches centered on patriarchal authority figures and punitive punishment have proven inadequate. This descriptive qualitative research analyzes transformative da'wah strategies and young women's ulama agencies, which are members of the Nawaning Nusantara network, in responding to the violence. Data collection was carried out through digital discourse analysis, literature studies, and document reviews of religious views, which were then analyzed using the theoretical framework of Agency and Transformative Da'wah. The results of the study show that Nawaning Nusantara dismantles the asymmetrical hierarchy of power through three main intervention areas: (1) an epistemological approach by reinterpreting classical texts based on the principle of the protection of the soul (hifdz al-nafs); (2) institutional stages through the establishment of safe spaces and the integration of victim-centered psychological approaches; and (3) cultural deconstruction through mental health literacy campaigns in the digital space. In conclusion, the agency of women clerics succeeded in recontextualizing religious traditions into instruments of liberation, changing the paradigm of conflict resolution from saving institutional reputations to fulfilling the rights of survivors. This model of restorative justice proves the intrinsic capacity of Islamic boarding schools to reform their system in a humane manner, so it is recommended to be adopted as a macro standard for child protection.

Abstract

Psychological well-being is an important aspect of human life related to individuals’ ability to accept themselves, build positive relationships, establish life purposes, and cope adaptively with various challenges. In social life, psychological well-being is influenced by several factors, one of which is social support obtained from family, friends, and the surrounding environment. Social support functions as a source of emotional strength that helps individuals reduce stress, enhance self-confidence, and foster feelings of safety and appreciation. However, the meaning of social support may vary among individuals depending on their life experiences. This study aims to explore the meaning of social support on psychological well-being based on individuals’ subjective experiences. This research employed a qualitative approach using a phenomenological method to gain an in-depth understanding of participants’ lived experiences. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with purposively selected participants based on their experiences in receiving social support. Data analysis was conducted through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, focusing on emerging experiential themes. The findings indicate that social support is interpreted as emotional care, tangible assistance, motivation, and the presence of others who provide comfort and security. Social support contributes to psychological well-being by fostering feelings of appreciation, increasing self-confidence, reducing psychological distress, and strengthening individuals’ capacity to cope with life challenges.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of Environmental Accounting (EA), Green Human Resource Accounting (GHRA), and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Orientation on the sustainable performance of manufacturing companies in Indonesia. Using a quantitative research design, data were collected from 125 manufacturing companies through a Likert scale-based survey. The data were analyzed using SPSS version 25, with multiple regression analysis conducted to assess the relationships between the independent variables (EA, GHRA, and ESG Orientation) and the dependent variable (Sustainable Performance). The findings reveal that all three practices—EA, GHRA, and ESG Orientation—have a significant positive impact on sustainable performance, with GHRA having the largest effect. The study highlights the importance of integrating environmental accounting, human resource practices, and ESG orientation into corporate strategies to enhance sustainability. The results provide valuable insights for policymakers and business leaders aiming to promote sustainable practices within the manufacturing sector in Indonesia.
