Abstract

PT Indofood Sukses Makmur, a renowned Indonesian food manufacturer, is assessed for Good Corporate Governance (GCG) compliance. The company has grown and transformed over the past two decades, becoming a major food industry participant. Indofood understands the relevance of GCG principles for openness, accountability, and stakeholder value despite its success. This study finds Indofood's GCG principles—transparency, responsibility, accountability, independence, and fairness—strong through literature and company actions. However, financial disclosures and sustainability efforts might be more transparent, accountability systems strengthened, and workplace culture more inclusive and varied. The research recommends that Indofood improve its governance procedures through constant monitoring and improvement to sustain stakeholder confidence and navigate the changing consumer food market.

Abstract

Gross Enrollment Rate is a statistical indicator used to measure educational attainment in a country in the form of a percentage. GER HE is a comparison between the number of people still studying at tertiary level regardless of age and the number of people aged 19 - 23 years. The research objective is to determine the effect of the unit in analysis, namely the Economic Gini Ratio, the Ratio of Lecturers, and the Ratio of the Number of Universities on the GER of HEs in Indonesia in 2020 - 2022.  The research method used is a quantitative method with secondary data. The sample used is a saturated sample of an entire population of 102 samples. The technique of data analyzed using regression analysis of data panel. The data panel used is combined time series data from three years, namely 2020 - 2022. Then, data from several objects (cross section) is used, namely data from 34 provinces in Indonesia. Based on the results of the study using the Fixed Effect Model (FEM), it shows that the economic Gini ratio has a negative and significant effect on the GER for higher education institutions by -2.038873 in 2020-2022. Meanwhile, the ratio of lecturers and the ratio of the number of universities have no effect significantly to GER of HEs on 2020-2022 in Indonesia.

Abstract

One of the problems faced by developing countries, including Indonesia, is income inequality. It is hoped that digitalization of financial inclusion can solve this problem. Increasing financial inclusion is expected to make financial services more accessible to everyone, especially for poor groups who previously did not have access to financial services. This research aims to analyze the role of digitalization of financial inclusion in reducing income gaps using empirical evidence from 33 provinces in Indonesia during the 2013-2022 period, using the fixed effects estimation method. The results of this study indicate that financial inclusion has a negative and significant impact on the Williamson index. This means that increasing financial inclusion can reduce income inequality. The decomposition results for each dimension show that the access dimension has a significant effect on reducing income inequality in Indonesia, while the usage dimension shows a positive influence on income inequality, but the presence of the SNKI policy in Indonesia in 2016-2022 has a negative influence on income inequality in Indonesia.

Abstract

A statistical indicator that expresses educational achievement in a nation as a percentage is the gross enrollment rate. The number of people enrolled in postsecondary education, regardless of age, is compared to the number of individuals between the ages of 19 and 23 in GER HE. Finding the impact of the units under analysis—the Economic Gini Ratio, the Ratio of Lecturers, and the Ratio of the Number of Universities—on the GER of HEs in Indonesia between 2020 and 2022 is the main goal of the research.  A quantitative approach using secondary data is the research methodology employed. A saturated sample from the total population of 102 samples was used. Regression analysis of data panels is the method of data analysis. The cumulative time series data from three years, specifically 2020–2022, make up the data panel that is used. Next, data from several objects (cross section) is utilized, namely data from 34 Indonesian provinces. The study's findings, which were derived using the Fixed Effect Model (FEM), indicate that, for higher education institutions, the economic Gini ratio has a substantial negative impact on GER by -2.038873 between 2020 and 2022. Meanwhile, the ratio of universities to teachers and the ratio of lecturers to universities has no discernible impact on the GER of HEIs in Indonesia between 2020 and 2022.
