Abstract

As an impact of Covid-19, the learning methods is shifting from conventional into e-learning. Therefore, UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta as an educational institution have to implement online lectures for all students. This event causes the first year students to not having the opportunity to understand how lectures work. On the other hand, lecturers and the university did not yet have a picture of the readiness of new students to study with e-learning method. For that case, the university needs to know if the students are ready to be doing e-learning lectures. This descriptive quantitive research uses a questionnaire and e-learning readiness factors by Chapnik [1] to see the readiness of new students. As a result, the score of new students e-learning readiness is 45.09. Thus, new students of UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta are not ready enough for studying in e-learning methods. This research also provides suggestions about how e-learning methods should be done for the lecturers.

Abstract

The driving license administration service system is a special service provided by Nasional Police to people who want to make a SIM. This service system can be done online. The current application has made it a lot easier in the process of making up the SIM card production. However, there are some problems related to internal reports that must be reported because the service is not yet available in an existing application, so some recapitulation processes are still done conventionally and technical constraints on the server network. This study aims to create a service management information system application (SIMPEL SIM) that can provide solutions to internal reporting and server network technical constraints. The method used software development is waterflow. This application handles the printing of bank payment receipts automatically, granting the applicant's registration number automatically, printing the SIM application form on the form provided. Verification of the completeness of the file, validation of the score of the theory test, practice 1 and practice 2, validation of sim issuance and printing of temporary sim numbers if there is a technical problem in the existing network server. The use of the SIMPEL SIM application makes it easy to recapitulate internal reporting and can improve public services.

Abstract

In 2018, the Ministry of Industry (Kemenperin) stated that the food and beverage sector contributed 6.34% of the national gross domestic product (GDP). Currently, culinary information can be easily found, both in print and online. The amount of information available sometimes makes people over-informed, making it difficult to choose a restaurant based on their preferences. To assist consumers in selecting a restaurant, we need a system that can provide several recommendations. This study aims to implement the item-based Collaborative Filtering method using the Adjusted Cosine Similarity algorithm on a restaurant recommendation system. The test was carried out with 40 samples from UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta using purposive sampling because the sample was selected based on specific criteria, and 40 respondents can be said to be correct because of the minimum number of respondents is 30. The accuracy test uses precision, and the determination of the error value uses MAE. The analysis of the research results used three scenarios, which are 5, 20, and 40 users. The third scenario produces the best precision and MAE values. Precision is better if the precision value is close to 1, and MAE is getting better if the MAE value is getting closer to 0. So it can be concluded that the Item-Based method with the Adjusted Cosine algorithm has the best accuracy and error values when the number of users grows.

Abstract

In 2018 the total revenue from the digital game market has reached 137.9 billion USD with mobile being the largest segment of the digital gaming market. The games downloaded on Google Play have several categories, one of which is the role-playing category. That's where the opportunity to follow a trend appears by making an Android game that has the roguelike genre, which is a subgenre of role-playing games. Most games with the roguelike genre don’t have a story or it has a linear one with no control over the emotions of the player character, so this game will be made with a branching narrative story structure which allows players to choose the storyline to make it more interesting. A branching narrative offers the player with important choices; every choice offers a unique outcome to a certain scenario even though the number of outcomes in the story is limited. The survey shows that the branching narrative in the game can increase the curiosity of the player to the story in the game, increase the desire of players to play the game again, and that the branching narrative is strong enough to increase the desire of players to make an In-App Purchase.

Abstract

Social media is a means to convey aspirations directly, but every aspiration is from social media users. Everyone who expresses opinions on social media contains positive, negative, and neutral sentiments. The implementation of the Ministry of Education and Culture's policy on the implementation of distance learning policies during the pandemic COVID-19 received various responses from the people of Indonesia. neutral as many as 894 comments, then 52 comments with negative sentiment, and 32 comments with positive sentiment with an accuracy value of 98.79%

Abstract

Determining the land suitability class of plants specifically cocoa (Theobroma cacao) is significant to do because each plant has a different characteristic of growth. This research aims at implementing the algorithm to determine the land suitability class of cocoa plants using the Multi-Layer Inference Fuzzy Tsukamoto (MLIFT). This research uses 18 input variables including 15 non-linguistic variables or crisp and the rest are linguistic ones or fuzzy as the data of growth requirements of cocoa plants. Generally, the algorithm used consists of three main steps those are fuzzification, Tsukamoto inference machine, and defuzzification consisting of three layers. The first layer covers seven inference engines, while each of the second and the third ones only consists of one inference engine. The concept of inference process in Fuzzy Tsukamoto is calculating the weighted average of each result of the  nference process. Based on the testing result, it can be concluded that the multi-layer inference Fuzzy Tsukamoto for determining the land suitability class of cocoa plants has an accuracy level amounted 97%.

Abstract

One of the government's efforts in providing health to the community is the construction of health centers in each sub-district, and the community is expected to be able to take advantage of the health facilities provided by the government. One of the problems that exist in the community is determining the shortest distance to the puskesmas. In Depok City, there are 26 routes that can be passed from the 38 nodes or vertices to the Cilodong Health Center with the starting point of the Depok mayor's office. This study uses a survey research method to calculate the actual distance at each node or vertex, the purpose of this study is to determine the shortest path taken by the starting point from the Depok mayor's office to get to the Cilodong Health Center by applying the dijkstra algorithm. This dijkstra algorithm works by visiting all existing points and making a route if there are 2 routes to the same 1 point then the route that has the lowest weight is chosen so that all points have an optimal route. This quest continues until the final destination point. After doing this research and testing using a simple application to calculate the distance by applying the djikstra algorithm, it was found that the shortest path taken to the destination is through the GDC Main Gate or on the test results in Iteration 26. From the results of this study, people can choose this closest route to save time when viewed from the distance of the existing track. For further research, it is expected to be able to compare two other algorithms and other parameters so that the closest route with the fastest time is obtained.

Abstract

Stemming is one of the essential stages of text mining. This process removes prefixes and suffixes to produce root words in a text. This study uses a string matching algorithm, namely Damerau Levenshtein Distance (DLD), to find the basic word forms of Javanese. Test data of 300 words that have a prefix, insertion, suffix, a combination of prefix and suffix, and word repetition. The results of this study indicate that the Damerau Levenshtein Distance (DLD) algorithm can be used for Stemming Javanese text with an accuracy value of 49.6%.

Abstract

Direct Debit Donor Programme (DDDP) is a donation program for individuals who are interested in taking part in social activities by direct debit of donations through bank accounts or credit cards which are commonly referred to as supporters or donors. Management of a structured and integrated information system with a good database concept will support a more effective and efficient performance. This study aims to analyze and develop the DDDP information system as a solution for supporter donation data management in increasing time efficiency. Information system development is carried out in stages starting from the need for basic functions in accordance with the development stages with the Incremental model, namely Requirements, Specifications, Architecture Design, Code and Test. modeling system development using the Unified Modeling Language (UML). Data collection was carried out through observation, direct interviews with related parties, viewing documents that were related to the research being carried out and conducting literature reviews. Functional testing on the system uses the black box testing method with the test results not found any errors in the system. The result of this research is a supporter donation data management information system which is named DDDP Application System.

Abstract

In recent years, the Internet became an important human need in the modern times. In 2019 the number of internet users in Indonesia reached 73.7% of the population as a whole and an increase of 8.9% from the previous year. In State Islamic High School Sidoarjo already provides internet services but existing bandwidth is not distributed evenly between ISP1 and ISP2. In this research, a Load balancing technique is carried out using the Per Connection Classifier (PCC) method. This method divides and classify the data packets to the Gateway connection. QoS Testing was performed using four parameters : Throughput, Jitter, Delay, and Packet Loss are taken the average value by measuring before and after Load balancing. Before Load balancing the uploads and downloads are 19.01 and 19.87 Mbps. From the results of testing the two domain, namely www.google.com and www.youtube.com the Delay was 55 and 39 ms, Jitter was 8 and 17 ms, and Packet Loss was 1% and 19%. Whereas after Load balancing is applied the uploads and downloads are 199.00 and 134.87 Mbps. From the results of testing two domains, the Delay is 21 and 24 ms, both Jitter is 0 ms, and both Packet Loss is 0%.
