Abstract

Augmented Reality is a type of interactive technology that combines real objects and virtual objects at the same time and is displayed on the screen. Augmented Reality has been applied as a way of working based on image detection and it is commonly called a marker. By using the smartphone's camera and then detects the marker that has been printed. Augmented Reality is widely used in various purposes, the example is for advertising or promotion. In advertising, Augmented Reality can be used as a promotion or information that can make it more interesting. This research aims to apply AR technology to the campus promotion media on the University of Panca Marga's new student admission brochure. The stages taken in this research are literature study as well as observation, design, and implementation stages. The application of Augmented Reality was built using Unity 3D software, Android SDK, Vuforia SDK, and Sweet Home 3D. The results of the application of Augmented Reality technology can display 3D virtual objects, 2D, and video using the new student admission brochure used as a marker. The marker that is detected by the camera on the Android smartphone can display 3D UPM buildings, location plans, UPM profile videos, and faculty digital brochures. So users can see how the campus buildings are in real-time as well as some other information that has been provided. Based on the tests, all features can run well.

Abstract

There are 903 mosques in Pekanbaru City, Riau Province. In 2016, the Pekanbaru City Government formed a Paripurna Mosque program which the Pekanbaru Paripurna Mosque Management Agency manages. Each mosque holds religious activities which a preacher fills. The mosque has a regular schedule of lectures with a short transition period for each type of religious activity held. Based on observations, the mosque management did not get complete information regarding the profile of the preacher. Furthermore, many preachers have canceled lecture schedules due to distance issues and the suitability of the lecturer's profile with the congregations. Therefore, a recommendation system using the K-means algorithm is necessary based on coordinate points, location access, and appropriate types of religious activities for the Pekanbaru Paripurna Mosque. This study also employed one hot encoding technique for non-numeric data. Based on the experimental testing results on the five clusters, the silhouette coefficient value is 0.945. Based on the results, it can be concluded that the system for determining the preachers of the Pekanbaru City Paripurna Mosque has the potential to be used.

Abstract

Plagiarism detection is a complex task. In-text, it should be able to find fragments of a text that is suspected of being illegally plagiarized from other sources. Aligning the plagiarized passages of suspicious documents from the source document is an issue that was discussed a lot, of which we can measure the percentage of the plagiarized text. This research proposes a semantic approach of text (fragments in documents) alignment between source and suspicious documents, using Jackard similarity method. Experimental results on the PAN competition for plagiarism detection competition, yielding average of 66.9% detection scores, increased more than twice if compared to the baseline method provided by the organizer, which is 28,4%. This approach is potential as a starting point to find offset match and length of plagiarized text in a plagiarism detection system.

Abstract

Corona virus is a group of viruses that infect the respiratory tract. This virus is known as Covid-19 which is known to have originated from China, which appeared in December 2019. In early March 2020, the first time the Covid-19 virus was reported to have entered Indonesia and spread to all provinces in Indonesia. The steps taken by the government to prevent the spread of the virus include creating a Covid-19 vaccination program where this information can be obtained through social media, including Twitter, which is a popular social media in Indonesia and is currently a trending topic. Its users are free to have an opinion or opinion through posts or comments. There are various kinds of opinions from the public, there are positive, neutral, and negative opinions about the Covid-19 vaccination program.Therefore, this study can be formulated that how to respond to Indonesian public opinion on the Covid-19 vaccination program using data taken from Twitter social media and conducting sentiment analysis using the Naive Bayes algorithm by classifying positive, neutral, and negative sentiments from Twitter using keywords. namely “Vaccine” and “Covid”.The results of the research that have been carried out show that the level of system accuracy in the application of the Naïve Bayes algorithm gets an accuracy value of 78% and testing using the k-fold cross validation method gets an accuracy value of 80%.

Abstract

Currently communication can be through various media, one of the most favorite is the instant messaging application because it presents complete features and can be used anywhere [1]. But digital data is vulnerable to theft, one example is when an application sends data to a server can be intercepted or the server is hacked [2]. Therefore required data security system one of which is encryption [3]. The research aims to implement encryption for data security using AES and RSA algorithms combined [4]. The method to be used is that AES will encrypt the original data and then the resulting AES key will be encrypted with RSA. Based on the results of combined testing these two algorithms can process data in the form of text and images in milisekon time and can still secure the original data.

Abstract

A bonus in a company is an appreciation of the company for its employees for their dedication to work. Giving the bonus is sometimes prone to subjektives, not relevant to work pertformance, and etc. This is also impelemented in PT. ABC, which rewards employees for their performance. The calculation of employee bonuses at PT. ABC still uses spreadsheet tool so that the results of calculating employee bonuses tend to be subjective and be human error in inputting complex formula. Therefore, to get the suitable employee bonus calculation results, PT. ABC requires a specific computer system for the employee bonus calculation. This research uses Fuzzy Inference System Mamdani method because Mamdani method is often used for fuzzy logic control problems and is accordance with the process of input of human information. In Mamdani method, there are four stages, namely the formation of fuzzy sets, application of implications function, composition of rules and defuzzyfication. Our Mamdani method was designed upon 27 rules which is likely adding complexity and temptation on human. Calculations on a system are tidier and more structureable rather than on spreadsheet tool. The system which is based on web could run almost everywhere as long as there is internet connection. The results of this study indicate that computer calculations result the same as manual calculations by hand. Functionality testing show that the system is functioning 100% and the system access test shows that 60% of respondents strongly agree and 40% of respondents agree with the ease of the system.

Abstract

Distribution becomes an important measure of marketing success. Traveling Salesman Problem is an example of a case that can be implemented in a distribution case study to get the shortest route through which a distributor passes. The distributor must pass each node (address or city) once in a while and then return to the node where he started. Traveling salesman problems emerge as part of logistical and transportation problems that have developed and utilized in the current period which is growing in various sectors. This research proposes using the Particle Swarm Optimization and Brute Force method to compare the performance of the two methods to get the shortest route. The study was conducted in several experiments the number of points (nodes) namely 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, and 30 nodes. Overall experiments, the Particle Swarm Optimization algorithm is superior to Brute Force. The route produced by Particle Swarm Optimization has a shorter distance than Brute Force

Abstract

Classification of oil palm fresh fruit bunch (FFB) based on maturity is very important for estimating oil content. Traditional methods using human vision to observe color changes during ripening and counting the number of fruits that fall from FFB are not effective. Research for neural architectures to design new network bases and improve them resulted in a set of models called EfficientNet. The most important function is the optimizer. This function repeatedly increases the parameters to reduce loss. In this study, the EfficientNetB0 and B1 models were developed to detect oil palm maturity into 6 classes, Raw, Ripe, Overripe, Underripe, abnormal, and empty bunch using optimizer RMSprop and SGD. From the research results, obtained the highest accuracy using the RMSprop optimizer of 0.9955 using the EfficientNetB0 model and 0.9949 using the EfficientNetB1 model. While using the SGD optimizer, the accuracy achieved is 0.918 using the EfficientNetB0 model and 0.9079 using the EfficientNetB1 model

Abstract

Covid19 pandemic is forcing the world to adapt to a new life. One of the impacts is the educational world. Distance learning from home or online learning is indeed one of the learning solutions with this Covid-19 condition. Problems arise when not all students and teachers can carry out learning at home optimally. Various obstacles faced such as mobile phones, internet access, learning media, interesting learning material content, and others. Teachers realize that audio-visual content is indeed more attached and easier for students to digest when delivering a material. So what is happening at this time both from the side of students and teachers becomes a dilemma. Therefore, we need a way so that what students and teachers complain about having internet access and learning media problems can be resolved, one of which is by developing learning applications along with educational content for elementary school students based on audio-visuals to support learning both outside the network (offline). as well as in the network (online). We call the application the CerdasBelajar application. As a result, the CerdasBelajar application has been published on Google Playstore and stored as many as 34 learning videos, material discussion, practice questions, and arithmetic gamers and can be installed for free.
