Abstract

The development of technology is very important for humans, especially in the field of storage of goods that become a useful and important thing in the world of warehousing. In this study the authors take a case study at PT. Alfa Beauty Cosmetica  who still uses warehouse reports manually. This study aims to facilitate the work of employees of PT. Alfa Beauty Cosmetica. Employees can store in-app items consisting of goods unique code, item name, recording location of goods and recording transactions of goods. Message reminder simulation is if stock will run out using web based Gateway SMS. With stock reminder messages, employees are quicker at updating inventory. This application is expected to accelerate employee work.

Abstract

PEB Cooperative is a savings and loan cooperative which is intended for employees of PT. PEB, is engaged in the garment industry. Established since 15 years with the number of cooperative members who are permanent employees of the company. This cooperative becomes an economical shelter to meet the needs of its employees. Technology in admin data processing is still simple using Microsoft Excel tools, in applications that connect members with admins on this system have not been designed, so from the background of this research will design a web-based and android-based savings and loan cooperative information system This design uses the waterfall model which will take a sequential design making it easier for developers and users. The hope is that this design will help make transactions for savings, loans, deposits, data collection, and reports to members, admins and leaders. The results obtained from the questionnaire with the System Usability Scale method in this savings and loan cooperative application are easy to use, faster, and practical, stated by the cooperative members by 84% and cooperative managers by 80%. It can be concluded that this application that has been designed can make it easier to carry out savings and loan transactions quickly and practically.

Abstract

There are a lot of Mustahiq data in LAZ (Lembaga Amil Zakat) which is spread in many locations today. Each LAZ has Mustahiq data that is different in type from other LAZ. There are differences in Mustahiq data types so that data that is so large cannot be used together even though the purpose of the data is the same to determine Mustahiq data. And to find out whether the Mustahiq data is still up to date (renewable), of course it will be very difficult due to the types of data types that are not uniform or different, long time span, and the large amount of data. To give zakat to Mustahiq certainly requires speed of information. So, in giving zakat to Mustahiq, LAZ will find it difficult to monitor the progress of the Mustahiq. It is possible that a Mustahiq will change his condition to become a Muzaki. This is the reason for the researcher to take this theme in order to help the existing LAZ to make it easier to cluster Mustahiq data. Furthermore, the data already in the cluster can be used by LAZ managers to develop the organization. This can also be a reference for determining the zakat recipient cluster to those who are entitled later. The research is "Modeling using K-Means Algorithm and Big Data analysis in determine Mustahiq data ". We got data Mustahiq with random sample from online and offline survey. Online data survey with Google form and Offline Data survey we got from BAZNAS (National Amil Zakat Agency) in Indonesia and another zakat agency (LAZ) in Jakarta. We conducted by combining data to analyzed using Big Data and K-Means Algorithm. K-Means algorithm is an algorithm for cluster n objects based on attributes into k partitions according to criteria that will be determined from large and diverse Mustahiq data. This research focuses on modeling that applies K-Means Algorithms and Big Data Analysis. The first we made tools for grouping simulation test data. We do several experimental and simulation scenarios to find a model in mapping Mustahiq data to developed best model for processing the data. The results of this study are displayed in tabular and graphical form, namely the proposed Mustahiq data processing model at Zakat Agency (LAZ). The simulation result from a total of 1109 correspondents, 300 correspondents are included in the Mustahiq cluster and 809 correspondents are included in the Non-Mustahiq cluster and have an accuracy rate of 83.40%. That means accuracy of the system modeling able to determine data Mustahiq. Result filtering based on Gender is “Male” accuracy 83.93%, based on Age is ”30-39” accuracy 71,03%, based on Job is “PNS” accuracy 83.39%, based on Education is “S1” accuracy 83.79%. The advantaged of research expected to be able to determine quickly whether the person meets the criteria as a mustahik or Muzaki for LAZ (Amil Zakat Agency). The result of modeling is K-Means clustering algorithm application program can be used if UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta want to develop LAZ (Amil Zakat Agency) too.

Abstract

Certification is a determination given by a professional organization to someone to show that the person has competence, is able to do a specific job or task. Quality Assurance and Learning Development Institute Universitas Negeri Padang (LP3M UNP) currently still issues paper-based certificates manually for each training activity. Issuance of certificates manually turned out to be quite time consuming and inefficient. Then the absence of a verification system that can check the authenticity and ownership of certificates can provide opportunities for certificate forgery. So, it is very important to design and build a web-based electronic certificate application (e-certificate) that is able to generate certificates online and be able to verify the authenticity and ownership of the electronic certificates. This study uses a Research and Development (R&D) approach. This type of development method uses the waterfall approach. At the system design stage using the Unified Modeling Language (UML), and for the database using MySQL. The results of this study are web-based e-certificate applications that are designed successfully to support the process of generating and verifying the authenticity and ownership of electronic certificates online. Based on the results of testing the system with the black box method also shows that all the functionality of the e-certificate application that is designed to run very well and in accordance with user needs.

Abstract

SiLPBPA version 1.0 is implemented in the Religious Education Book Assessment Service activities. However, there are many obstacles and problems, namely that some system functions do not match the needs that support their activities. The purpose of this research is to conduct quality analysis and develop SiLPBPA. The methodology for conducting quality analysis is the System Usability Scale (SUS), and its development uses the Agile method with a Scrum framework. The results show that the system's quality gets a score of 71, which means the system is Acceptable, is in Predicate C, and with a good rating. However, some users gave some suggestions on the questionnaire. These suggestions are evaluated, which are used as the basis for system development. The results of developing using Scrum can be completed within 65 hours of the target time of 70 hours shown on the Burndown Chart. Some system functions can be completed properly. This was proven at the Sprint Review event, the Scrum Team and Stakeholders who attended approved the Product Increments that had been developed in all Sprints. So that SiLPBPA can be used in the next Education Book Assessment service activities.

Abstract

The area of Majene Regency is dominated by waters and marine areas with many marine tourism destinations so that it is well known in several Majene regency areas but is less explored so that it is not known by some people due to the lack of information facilities, for this reason the implementation of a website in the introduction of marine tourism in Majene Regency is needed. This website application development aims to facilitate users in accessing marine tourism information in Majene Regency. An application designed and invincible with the needs of tourists in order to get information on the tourist destinations you want to visit. The design of this website is carried out using the Waterfall method, built with the Sublime Text 3 script language, PHP and Xampp 7.1 as the database, and the testing system uses a blackbox testing so as to produce a special marine tourism application that is feasible and can be accessed online.

Abstract

Criminality is all forms of action and conduct that violate the law as well social and religious norms that are detrimental to the society both economically and psychologically. The emergence of verious crime forms with new dimension recently shows that the criminality is always developing. In the effort to reduce the increase of the crime rate, a crime action prediction system is needed to anticipate the future. In this research a crime rate prediction system based in the types of criminal action using Triple Exponential Smoothing (TES) method has been developed, and the prediction  accuracy of the system is measured by using Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) method with a case study on Resort Police of Kabupaten Probolinggo, East Jawa. From the conducted test, obtained results MAPE score of  theft by weighting (Curat) type is 7% or Very Accurate prediction criterion. MAPE score for crime action type Others, motor vehicle theft (Curanmor), Destruction, and Fraud are 9.8%, 14.4%, 13.6%, and 16%, or Good prediction criterion. For crime action type Beatings, violent theft (Curas), severe persecution (Anirat), Murder, and Thief each one has MAPE score 23.2%, 31.2%, 21.2%, 33.2%, and 50%, or Reasonable prediction criterion, while MAPE score for Animal Theft is 92% or Inaccurate prediction criterion. In general, the criminality rate prediction system using TES method that has been developed for the case study on Resort Police of Kabupaten Probolinggo obtains MAPE score 28,3% or Reasonable prediction criterion.

Abstract

Quality test is a crucial phase in the system development process to ensure that system work as its requirement. Therefore, the Portal Kukerta (Kuliah Kerja Nyata) Universitas Riau, an information system to manage data and activities of Kukerta, needs to assess. In this research, Portal Kukerta has been assessed using the McCalls software quality framework. The aspect that is focused on this research is product operation. Product operation consists of correctness, usability, integrity, reliability, and efficiency. The data collected by distributing questionnaires to 67 participants. The results show that users give a positive response to two aspects, namely  efficiency 99.90% and usability 64%. However, for the reliability factor 43%, correctness 48%, integrity 56% get a neutral value that there are aspects that are considered less by the user. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the Kukerta portal is very efficient in managing the data of Kukerta University of Riau and can be easily used by users. However, in terms of reliability, correction, and integrity need to be improved. The implication of the research are (1) providing a reference in assessing quality of a software and (2) specifically providing a recommendation for Portal Kukerta Universitas Riau for their system improvements.

Abstract

Mobile Siaran is an official reporting application intended for the people of the city of Tangerang Selatan (South Tangerang). However, after conducting interviews with stakeholders and respondents, there were several problems with the display of the mobile application. From the results of the interview, it indicates that there are still some applications that need improvement. To fix the problem with the Mobile Siaran application display, the solution given is to improve the user interface design using the Goal Direct Design method. In addition, it also uses the success rate calculation technique and the System Usability Scale (SUS) to measure the usability value. Meanwhile, the User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) measures the value of user experience. The result of this research is a user interface design made in stages in the Goal Direct Design method, namely research, modeling, requirements, frameworks, and refinement. The final evaluation, the results of the improvement using calculations, the success rate has increased from 93.5% to 99.3%, SUS from an average score of 58.19 which can be said to be quite satisfactory with the letter D value to 81.83 which can be accepted with the value of the letter A, while UEQ shows all aspects that have improved with very good and good criteria which means that improvements to user interface design can solve problems that exist in the application and improve the user experience.

Abstract

In today’s competitive environment, students have to manage a great variety of tasks, and sometimes, due to poor time management, they fall behind in completing the tasks well and on time. Thus, this research presents the research and development of an automated task management system using Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) measurement for task monitoring and provides alerts for university students, which can continuously monitor the student’s task performance. To achieve the objective of this research, the following methodology was adopted. First, the research identifies suitable measures of poor time management, best time management practices for university students, and suitable solution for developing the proposed system. A preliminary investigation was carried out to identify problem faced by students with their task management and the impact on their academic performance. The respondents of this preliminary investigation are undergraduate and postgraduate students from the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology at the University of Malaya that have responded to a survey questionnaire. Based on the outcome of the preliminary investigation, it is clear that students prefer a computer application to constantly monitor tasks over the internet will ease the tasks of users.
