Abstract

Tabung vacutainer plain adalah tabung vakum kaca tidak mengandung zat aditif. Tabung vacutainer clot activator adalah tabung vakum plastik mengandung zat aktivator pembekuan. Perbedaan tabung vacutainer plain dan clot activator terdapat pada proses pembekuan darah. Pada tabung vacutainer plain proses pembekuan darah berlangsung normal 15-30 menit sedangkan  tabung vacutainer clot activator relatif lebih cepat proses pembekuan darahnya. Perbedaan waktu pembekuan darah ini membuat hasil pemeriksaan gula darah puasa relatif berbeda.Tujuan penelitian untuk mengkaji perbedaan penggunaan tabung vacutainer plain dan clot activator terhadap waktu pemeriksaan gula darah puasa. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian cross sectional dan metode pengambilan sampel consecutive sampling. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pasien poli penyakit dalam dengan diagnosa diabetes mellitus tipe 2 yang melakukan pemeriksaan gula darah puasa.Hasil uji Wilcoxon perbedaan waktu pembekuan darah antara  penggunaan tabung vacutainer plain dan clot activator didapat nilai signifikansi 0,000 (p < 0,05) yang berarti Ha diterima, terdapat perbedaan waktu pembekuan darah antara penggunaan tabung vacutainer plain dan clot activator di Rumah Sakit Sultan Syarif Mohamad Alkadrie. Hasil uji Kendall Tau hubungan waktu pembekuan darah tabung vacutainer plain dengan waktu pemeriksaan gula darah puasa diperoleh nilai signifikansi 0,000 (p < 0,05) berarti Ha diterima, ada hubungan antara waktu pembekuan darah penggunaan  vacutainer plain dengan waktu pemeriksaan gula darah puasa di Rumah Sakit Sultan Syarif Mohamad Alkadrie. Sedangkan pada Hasil uji Kendal Tau pada hubungan antara waktu pembekuan darah tabung vacutainer clot activator dengan waktu pemeriksaan gula darah puasa diperoleh nilai signifikansi 0,000 (p < 0,05) berarti Ha diterima, ada hubungan waktu pembekuan darah penggunaan  vacutainer clot activator terhadap waktu pemeriksaan gula darah puasa di Rumah Sakit Sultan Syarif Mohamad Alkadrie.

Abstract

Typhoid fever is a disease caused by Salmonella typhi bacterial infection. This disease is one of the global infections throughout where the level of typhoid resistance to chloramphenicol in Indonesia itself is increasing, and it has even been reported that resistance increases 16% to 81% in 1 year in one location. Single garlic contains an active compound, namely allicin, which is used as an antibacterial which can inhibit the growth of gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria. Therefore, single garlic is expected to be used as an alternative in overcoming the problem of resistance to bacteria Salmonella typhi that causes typoid. This study used the disc diffusion method on MHA agar media to test the inhibition of single garlic juice against Salmonella typhi bacteria. This type of experimental research with descriptive criteria, with 4 repetitions. Results by measuring the diameter of the power area of the test sample in the concentration group of 50%, 75% and 100%. The results of this study the average diameter of the inhibitory power at a concentration of 100% is 25 mm, at a concentration of 75% is 21 mm, and at a concentration of 50 % i.e. 17 mm. The results of statistical tests with simple linear regression showed that p (0.000) <α 0.05 means that Ha is accepted, so it can be stated that there is an effect of various concentrations of single garlic (Allium Sativum L) on the inhibition zone of Salmonella typhi bacteria.

Abstract

Superficial mycoses are skin infections caused by fungal colonization. One of the factors that cause infection and the spread of superficial mycoses is personal hygiene. Superficial mycoses transmission can occur when a person lives together. One of the places that have a risk of superficial mycoses transmission is Islamic boarding school. This study aims to analyze the relationship between personal hygiene and superficial mycoses in Islamic Boarding School. This type of research is quantitative with a cross sectional research design. Data was collected by means of interviews, filling out questionnaires and examining superficial mycoses macroscopically and microscopically. The results of the study using the contingency coefficient test showed that there was a relationship between personal hygiene and superficial mycoses (Approv.Sig 0.036 < 0.05). Superficial mycoses can also caused by environmental conditions, humidity, temperature and population density. Cases of superficial mycoses are still common in Islamic boarding schools.

Abstract

Udara yang tidak bersih dapat membahayakan kehidupan manusia atau hewan. Sisa udara yang dibuang oleh pabrik industri diantaranya adalah air limbah pabrik jika tidak diolah dengan optimal, sehingga dapat menurunkan jumlah oksigen dalam udara dan mengakibatkan nilai COD menjadi tinggi. Oleh karena itu diperlukan pengolahan yang relatif murah yaitu pengolahan dengan fitoremediasi menggunakan tanaman melati air. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pemanfaatan fitoremediasi dengan variasi variasi perendaman melati air dalam menurunkan kadar COD pada air limbah karet di Siantan Hilir Kota Pontianak. Desain penelitian pencarian yang digunakan adalah desain penelitian eksperimen.Pengolahan ini dilakukan dengan cara fitoremediasi dengan air limbah karet selama 4 hari, 8 hari, dan 12 hari. Hasil pengujian dengan melati air dapat menurunkan kadar COD mencapai 85,20% dari 660,83 mg/l menjadi 97,75 mg/l. Dengan metode pengukuran COD menggunakan Close Reflux . hasil Berdasarkan penelitian dan pengolahan data secara komputerisasi dengan uji Regresi Linier Sederhana diperoleh nilai p = 0,000 (p<0,05). Sehingga dapat diterima karena adanya pengaruh variasi lama perendaman dengan melati air dalam proses fitoremediasi dalam menurunkan kadar COD pada air limbah karet di Siantan Hilir Pontianak.

Abstract

One of the abundant water resources on the island of Kalimantan is peat water, because peatlands are widely distributed in West Kalimantan, especially in Kubu Raya Regency. Residents living in peat swamps in parts of Kalimantan, especially in the area of Rasau Jaya Village, Kubu Raya Regency, use peatlands as a residence and land for plantations and agriculture, so that they use dug wells in the form of peat water and are widely used by local residents to carry out daily activities days such as washing, bathing, cooking and so on. Heavy metals in the form of Pb and As are pollutants that are difficult to degrade and even tend to accumulate in the body of exposed living things. The purpose of this study was to analyze the content of Pb and As metals in peat water in Rasau Jaya Village, Kubu Raya Regency. The research design used is descriptive method. The population in this study was peat water in the area of Rasau Jaya Village, Kubu Raya Regency. A sample of 10 peat well water samples from the Dusun Kebun Jeruk residents, Rasau Jaya Village, Kubu Raya Regency. The results were obtained based on Permenkes RI RI No. 32 of 2017 Concerning Environmental Health Standard Quality Standards and Water Health Requirements for Hygiene, Swimming Pool, Solus Per Aqua, and Public Baths used for clean well water samples that met 40% quality standards, namely Well 3, 6, 8 and 9.

Abstract

Salah satu jenis ikan yang memiliki kandungan nutrisi sangat baik untuk kesehatan  adalah  ikan gabus, terdiri dari kandungan protein 17,06% kadar air 75,01%,lemak 0,44% kadar abu 1,43%. Pekasam merupakan hasil atau produk fermentasi secara tradisional dan biasanya mempunyai nilai gizi yang lebih tinggi dari bahan asalnya. Mikroba pada produk fermentasi dapat memecah komponen kompleks pada bahan pangan menjadi bahan            bahan yang lebih sederhana, sehingga lebih mudah dicerna serta dapat mensintesis beberapa vitamin dan mampu meningkatkan kadar protein pada produk hasil fermentasiTujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh lama waktu fermentasi terhadap kadar protein pada pekasam ikan gabus ( channa striata ) peneltian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimental menggunakan quasi experiment. Sampel pada penelitian ini berjumlah 24 sampel yang terdiri dari 4 perlakuan dengan pengulangan setiap perlakuan sebanyak 6 kali. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode Kjeldahl.

Abstract

Urine sediment examination is done to see the organic and inorganic elements in the urine. Urine examination no later than 2 hours from the time urine is collected, postponement urine for 2 hours without being stored at 2-80C and without the addition of preservatives can reduce the quality of examination results. Giving preservatives in the urine causing the development of bacteria can be suppressed. The purpose of this study is to determine differences in urine sediment yield with formalin and toluene preservatives. This type of research is analytic with an experimental approach. The sample used was 15 female students who were menstruating. The results of data analysis with the One-way anova and Kruskal Wallis tests showed the results of p value of erythrocytes, leukocytes, epithelial cells, crystals and bacteria respectively of 0.137; 0.699; .342; 0.665; 0,600 where p value> 0,005 which means there is no difference in urine sediment yield with preservative formalin and toluene. But each element has morphological changes after preserving it with formalin and toluene preservatives. In formalin, morphological changes are slightly smaller and enlarged, whereas in toluene, morphological changes occur in a smaller and irregular manner. It is hoped that urine sediment examination is checked immediately with fresh urine to get accurate results and can support the diagnosis of a disease. Keywords: urine sediment, formalin, toluene
