Abstract

This research seeks to analyze the selection process for the General Election Commission Selection Team and the Election Supervisory Body in Indonesia from a legal perspective. Through a normative method with a statutory and conceptual approach, the results of this research conclude that the formation of the General Election Commission (KPU) and Election Supervisory Body (Bawaslu) selection team as regulated in article 22 jo 118 of Law No. 7 of 2017 concerning Elections which the President formed is contrary to the duties and authority The President is regulated in the 1945 Constitution because no article or paragraph explains clearly and explicitly that the President's right to form the authority to create the selection team of KPU and Bawaslu and is not in accordance with the principle of legality or the principle of the rule of law. So, the formation of the selection team is based on article 22 jo 118 of Law No. 7 2017 concerning Elections is null and void along with legal regulations or derivative legal products. There is a legal violation by the President of Article 22E paragraph (5) of the 1945 Constitution.

Abstract

This research scrutinizes the types of swearing words in “Miracle in Cell No.7” Indonesian Movie. The researchers revisit the types of swear words theory from Andersson & Trudgill. It aims to reveal the types of swear words found in the film Miracle in Cell no.7 based on the theory applied. The research method used is interpretive qualitative with a sociolinguistic approach because the data used is in linguistic phenomena contained in the film. The main data which is most used is the phrases and swear words uttered by the main character in the film Miracle in Cell no. 7 Indonesia Movie. The data is collected using the Listening (watching) technique and recording (notetaking) the swear words in the film. The collected data is then analysed based on the theory adapted from Andersson & Trudgill. From the results of data analysis, there were found 3 (three) types of swear words. Among the four types of swear words; Abusive types, Expletive types and Humor types.

Abstract

Democracy and human rights issues in the ASEAN region came into the focus of attention with the emergence of the Milk Tea Alliance, a cross-border movement fighting for democratic values. This article aims to explore the role of the milk tea alliance movement as a new democratic force in ASEAN and how it can be enhanced in effectiveness through adaptation to existing ASEAN norms and institutions. Methodologically, secondary data collection often involves the use of literature research techniques and is analyzed explanatory with the framework of constructivist analysis to understand the social construction of identity, norms, and political relations in ASEAN with the movement. This research shows that this movement effectively increases public awareness of democratic principles. Nonetheless, normative and institutional challenges in the ASEAN region require the implementation of adequate adaptive measures. The study presents several tactics aimed at increasing the influence of this movement in facilitating democratic progress in the ASEAN region.

Abstract

The research we conducted here was motivated by various problems related to the purchasing power of motor vehicle consumers regarding Value Added Tax (VAT) and Sales Tax Incentives for Luxury Goods (PPnBM). This research was designed to determine consumer purchasing power. Value Added Tax (VAT) and Sales Tax Incentives for Luxury Goods (PPnBM) on motorized vehicles. The method used in this research is quantitative with the sample determination method, namely the Probability Method. This method is a method that uses area sampling and uses a purposive sampling method. The research results we obtained show that simultaneously, Value Added Tax (VAT) and Sales Tax Incentives on Luxury Goods (PPnBM) have a significant effect on the purchasing power of motor vehicle consumers. Partially Value Added Tax (VAT) significantly effects motor vehicle consumers' purchasing power. At the same time, the Sales Tax Incentive on Luxury Goods (PPnBM) PPnBM significantly affects the purchasing power of motor vehicle consumers.

Abstract

This research analyzes the decision of the Sumber Religious Court of Cirebon Regency in the procedure for executing the confiscation of sharia mortgage rights in the murabahah case Number 2008/Pdt.G/2020/PA.Sbr. This research pays attention to the role and actions of religious courts in handling execution cases, assessing debt collateral, and protecting the rights of debtors and creditors in sharia economic cases. The author uses a qualitative method with a normative approach. The analyzes primary data such as the judge's decision and related documents and analyzes secondary data as a source of information which includes literature study. This execution process involves the State Property and Auction Services Office and may face challenges from debtors or third parties. The case study of case Number 2008/Pdt.G/2020/PA.Sbr shows that the execution mechanism for the auction of mortgage rights was carried out outside the Sumber Religious Court, Cirebon Regency, without a court execution order. The judge considers it according to the applicable legal basis. As a result, the Plaintiff's lawsuit was rejected because of the implementation of the auction by Bank BRI Syariah.Tbk Cirebon Branch Office was deemed to be in accordance with the law. Default by the Customer is the main reason for this decision.

Abstract

This research analyzes in depth the practice of gold gathering at Sharia Pawnshop from the perspective of sociology, anthropology and sharia economic law to reveal the complex dynamics in modern sharia economic practices and their impact on wider society. This understanding also provides insight into how local traditions and global norms interact in increasingly complex contexts. The author uses qualitative research methods and secondary data analysis. These data will be analyzed using sociological and anthropological theoretical approaches to sharia economic law. The results of this research are that the Gold Arisan practice at Sharia Pawnshop is a collective system of buying gold like traditional arisan. It builds social relationships, reflects cultural values, and adheres to sharia economic principles without usury. Sharia economic laws such as Qardh, Murabahah, and Rahn play an important role. Sociologically, this forms a complex social network. From an anthropological perspective, it reflects the values ​​and traditions of society. From the perspective of economic sharia law, comply with strict principles including the prohibition of usury and asset management. This analysis provides an in-depth understanding of financial practices in the context of culture, social norms and Islamic law, as well as the impact of social interactions.

Abstract

This research seeks to observe and test consumers' online purchasing interests based on the role of trust and Electronic Word of Mouth (E-WOM). This research uses PLS (Partial Least Square) based on SEM (Structural Equation Modeling). The sample in this research was 188 consumers from 5 regions in the Special Region of Yogyakarta. This research uses a purposive sampling technique in data collection. The criteria for respondents are women aged 20-30 years. The results of this research found that there is a positive and significant direct influence of both E-WOM and trust on online buying interest in local skincare and cosmetics in Indonesia, especially in Yogyakarta. So, it can be said that interest or intention to buy online depends on both E-WOM and trust. However, the mediating role of trust was also tested in this study, and the results were positive and significant. So, it can be said that online purchasing intentions, apart from being directly dependent on E-WOM, can also be mediated by trust.

Abstract

This article discusses social transformation and poverty alleviation, these are the two main challenges in community development. The role of the socialpreneur, who is a social entrepreneur, has great potential in creating positive change in the context. Socialpreneurs can play a role in overcoming poverty problems through microfinance institutions. Socialpreneurs can use innovation, creativity, entrepreneurial spirit to identify pressing social problems and find sustainable solutions. The author uses qualitative methods, with secondary data analysis, sourced from books, journals and articles related to this discussion. The results of his research stated that poverty is a serious problem that endangers scarcity, health and education. Islam encourages its followers to avoid poverty, and Islamic microfinance institutions are effective in reducing poverty. The integration of social entrepreneurship in microfinance institutions helps maintain a balance between profitability and social impact. Measures such as poverty-focused services and business training support social transformation and poverty alleviation. Socialpreneurship allows individuals to run a business while contributing to social change. The millennial generation views this as a way to achieve Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). In efforts to eradicate poverty through socialpreneurship, sociological and anthropological perspectives help understand cultural values, social interactions, and the influence of stigmatization on poor communities.

Abstract

This research aims to determine and discuss the philosophical function of a contract to realize justice. Therefore, what things must be fulfilled so that the philosophical function of the contract in realizing justice for the parties can be carried out is also included in the objectives of this research. This type of research is normative juridical research, using secondary data obtained from primary, secondary and tertiary legal material sources. The results of this research reveal that contracts have a fundamental philosophical function, namely realizing the value of justice in the social and economic order in society by facilitating, accommodating and regulating the contractual legal relationships of the parties in which there are balanced rights and obligations. In other words, contracts also function as legal instruments to eliminate or at least reduce imbalances in the social and economic order in society, especially in contracts made by parties as citizens or part of society.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to collect empirical information concerning the factors of return on equity, price-earnings ratio, and current ratio as they relate to the pricing of stocks. In this study, a quantitative approach was combined with secondary data. Companies that are active in the mining sector and are listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange make up the population of companies that are the focus of this research. In addition, the current population was studied to identify the sample through the use of purposive sampling, and a total of 8 companies were collected between the years 2019 and 2022. The hypothesis put up in this investigation was put to the test by employing multiple regression analysis and the software version 25 of SPSS. According to the findings of the study, both the return on equity and the current ratio had a good and significant impact on stock prices. Furthermore, both of these factors had a positive and significant influence on stock prices. In contrast, the price-earnings ratio had a negative influence on share prices, although it did not have any meaningful impact overall.
