Dialektika : Jurnal Bahasa, Sastra, dan Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia published two times a year (June and December ) as a medium of distributing scientific research in the field of language, literature , and the Indonesian language and literature education. Abstract

Abstract: Literature and children are two things that have a different distance. Literature is no longer familiar to children. The world of education now needs a suitable medium to improve the child's sense to love literature. The purpose of this paper is to review the development of posters of Indonesian literary figures that can be used as a medium of literary learning, with the emergence of new learning media and attract children began to re-like and familiar to literature. In this paper, a posters named as POSAS (Poster Tokoh Sastra Indonesia), which contains a glimpse of Indonesian literary figures from each period. Literary figures are selected based on the division of generation. Poster display consists of literary fiures identity, origin of literary figures, the literay work, description of the emergence of works and the self portrait of the literary figures.Abstrak: Sastra dan remaja menjadi dua hal yang memiliki jarak. Sastra tidak lagi akrab di hadapan remaja. Dunia pendidikan kini perlu media yang cocok guna meningkatkan kembali rasa suka anak terhadap sastra. Tujuan dari makalah ini adalah mengulas tentang pengembangan poster tokoh sastra Indonesia yang bisa dijadikan sebagai media pembelajaran sastra. Munculnya media pembelajaran baru akan menarik remaja mulai kembali menyukai dan mengakrabi sastra.. Dalam makalah ini diulas pengembangan poster dengan nama POSAS (Poster Tokoh Sastra Indonesia) yang berisi gambaran sekilas tokoh sastra Indonesia dari masing-masing periode. Tokoh dipilih berdasarkan pembagian periodesasi. Tampilan poster berupa identitas tokoh sastra, asal tokoh, karya yang dihasilkan, keterangan kemunculan karya dan potret diri tokoh sastra. POSAS diujicobakan pada siswa SMK dengan hasil remaja lebih antusias dalam mempelajari sastra. Abstract

This paper describes feminism in the novel Geni Jora by Abidah El Khalieqy and its implications toward learning of literature in schools. The data which were analyzed in this paper are the novel Geni Jora by Abidah El Khalieqy and books that are related to the object of research, such as the study of feminism. The values of feminism contained in this novel include: female characters are 1) daring to disagree, 2) having aspirations and ambitions, 3) having a desired social status, 4) daring to compete, 5) able to attempt providing insight, 6) ending the relationship with strategy, 7) rejecting the restriction of education for women, 8) rejecting the restriction of freedom for women outside the home, 9) rejecting polygamy. Those values can be applied in the learning of Indonesian language and literature at the 11th grade of high school in the aspect of reading with the Standards of Competence of understanding various tales, Indonesian novels/translated novels and Basic Competence of analyzing the intrinsic and extrinsic elements of Indonesian or translated novels with learning indicators that students are able to find the intrinsic elements (plot, theme, characterization, perspective, background and mandate) and extrinsic elements (cultural values, social values, and the value of education) in Indonesian/translated novels. ai lebih dari satu bahasa. This research uses the descriptive method. The population in this research is the whole Islamic Banking Majors semester IV amounted to 125. This research sample taken using proportional random sampling. Based on the model of random sample research, determined that Islamic Banking Majors semester IV class B and D of 59 people.  The results showed that in general a student majoring in Islamic Banking Semester IV is quite skilled in the critical reading of a text. It is reflected in the statistical data indicating that the average value of the total of the skills of critical reading of a text on Islamic Banking majors semester IV is at number 77,35 and is skilled enough to qualify. Specifically, the percentage of the skill level of every aspect of critical reading on Islamic Banking Majors Semester IV can be outlined as follows, (1) aspects of skills to determine the facts in the text represents 22.5% of the total critical reading skills, (2) aspects of skills to determine the opinion in the text represents 22.2% of the total critical reading skills, (3) aspects of skills conclude text content representing 20.3% of the total critical reading skills, (4) aspects of skills analyze the use of the language within the text represent 15.7% of the total critical reading skills, (5) aspects of skills opined against text content represent 19,3% of the total critical reading skills.

Abstract

Abstract: Invective expression is different from its literal meaning. Invective expression reflect the speaker`s culture, customs, and social and historical backgrounds. Therefore, without knowing a target language, culture aspects as well as expressions, the meaning of expressions can not be concluded from the dictionary definition, speakers of foreign culture often face problems in understanding the actual meaning of the meaning of expressions, especially invective expressions. In the Minangkabau culture that uses invective expressions in their daily conversations, understanding that is not a problem. However, problems may occur when the two different cultures try to understand each other's expressions. Therefore, this study analyzed invective expressions in Minangkabau and Batak languages. In addition, the writer also examined aspects of the culture and situation of the intended expressions used by speakers of each language. The researcher used qualitative methods and the data gets from the informants of both cultures. These findings reveal two categories, namely, first, invective expression in Minangkabau and Batak languages with same literal and actual meaning. Second, invective expression  in Minangkabau and Batak languages with same literal meaning but different actual meaning.Abstrak: Makna kiasan berbeda dengan arti harfiahnya. Makna kiasan mencerminkan budaya, adat istiadat penutur, dan latar belakang sosial dan historis. Oleh karena itu, tanpa mengetahui aspek budaya target dan juga ungkapan, makna ungkapan tidak dapat di simpulkan dari definisi kamus, penutur bahasa asing sering menghadapi masalah dalam memahami arti sebenarnya dari makna ungkapan khususnya ungkapan makian. Dalam budaya Minang yang menggunakan ungkapan makian dalam percakapan sehari-hari mereka, memahami itu bukanlah masalah. Namun, masalah mungkin terjadi ketika kedua budaya yang berbeda mencoba memahami ungkapan satu sama lain. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini menganalisis ungkapan makian dalam bahasa Minang dan Batak. Selain itu peneliti juga meneliti aspek budaya dan situasi tujuan ungkapan di gunakan oleh penutur bahasa masing-masing. Peneliti menggunakan metode kualitatif dan  Data bersumber dari  informan kedua budaya. Temuan ini mengungkapkan dua kategori yaitu, pertama, Ungkapan makian dalam bahasa Minang dan Batak dengan makna literal dan makna aktual yang sama. Kedua, Ungkapan makian dalam bahasa Minang dan Batak dengan makna literal yang sama tapi makna aktual berbeda.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to profoundly examine about: (1) Sundanese speaking teaching materials for non-Sundanese speakers in accordance with the needs of teachers and learners of Sundanese, at Seventh grade of Junior High School (Sekolah Menengah Pertama, SMP) in SMP Negeri 1 Depok, West Java, Indonesia; (2) the design of Sundanese language teaching materials that suit to the needs of teachers and learners by adapting the A1 level of European Common Reference Framework. The result of this paper is the design model of teaching material that reflecting the needs of teachers and learners, including the topic needed in each chapter.   Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui secara mendalam tentang: (1) materi ajar Berbicara Bahasa Sunda bagi penutur non-Sunda yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan pengajar dan pemelajar Bahasa Sunda di kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Depok dan (2) rancangan materi ajar Berbicara Bahasa Sunda yang sesuai kebutuhan pengajar dan pemelajar dengan mengadaptasi Kerangka Umum Acuan Eropa level A1. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan komunikatif dengan metode penelitian pengembangan. Abstract

Abstract: The research problem is how the teaching media is utilized in the learning of composing the observation text at the XI grade of SMK. The aim of this research is to describe the teaching product utilized in the learning of composing the expository text at the XI grade of SMK. This research uses qualitative descriptive as the methodology of the research, in collecting the data is using of reduction data, showing data, and verification. The result of the study indicate that textbooks prepare activity reports based on observation worthy of use in learning. The feasibility was stated by media experts 77%, material experts 81,5%, and practitioners 80%.Abstrak: Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimanakah pengembangan buku pembelajaran menyusun laporan berdasarkan observasi siswa kelas XI SMK? Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan buku pembelajaran menyusun laporan berdasarkan observasi siswa kelas XI SMK. Penelitian ini menggunakan metod R & D, pengambilan data pada penelitian ini dilakukan menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan perekaman. Analisis data dilakukan melalui tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan verifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa buku ajar menyusun laporan kegiatan berdasarkan observasi layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran. Kelayakan tersebut dinyatakan oleh ahli media 77%, ahli materi 81,5%, dan praktisi 80%.

Abstract

Abstract: This research is tangent to the variety of social media.  Social Media is a social media services on the internet that are very popular today in the world, including in Indonesia. The aims this study to describe how the vocabulary in a variety of social media came at once and agreed on by social media users. Vocabulary that affect the development of the Indonesian in the spoken language, especially obtained glossary of terms that developed in social media. This research method uses qualitative research methods as a scientific research. The goal is to understand a phenomenon in the social context naturally with the advanced process of interaction between researchers in-depth communication with the phenomenon under study. The results of this study is the vocabulary used in social media there are based on its creativity without any previous origins. However, there are also derived from foreign languages ​​(English, Korean, Japanese), Indonesian, local language, vocabulary inverted structure, vocabulary already in the dictionary slang and slang that already exists.Abstrak: Penelitian ini bersinggungan dengan ragam media sosial. Media sosial merupakan layanan media sosial di internet yang sangat populer saat ini di dunia, termasuk di Indonesia. The Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana kosakata dalam ragam media sosial muncul seketika dan disepakati bersama oleh pengguna media sosial. Kosakata itu berpengaruh terhadap perkembangan bahasa Indonesia dalam ragam lisan, khususnya glosarium yang diperoleh dari istilah-istilah yang berkembang di media sosial. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif sebagai suatu penelitian ilmiah.Tujuannya adalah untuk memahami suatu fenomena dalam konteks sosial secara alamiah dengan mengedepankan proses interaksi komunikasi yang mendalam antara peneliti dengan fenomena yang diteliti. Hasil penelitian ini adalah kosakata yang digunakan dalam media sosial ada yang berdasarkan kreativitas penggunanya tanpa ada asal-usul sebelumnya. Akan tetapi, ada juga yang berasal dari bahasa asing (Inggris, Korea, Jepang), bahasa Indonesia, bahasa daerah, kosakata yang dibolak-balik susunannya, kosakata yang memang sudah ada dalam kamus bahasa gaul, dan bahasa slang yang sudah ada sebelumnya.Permalink/DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.15408/dialektika.v3i2.5188

Abstract

Cultural diversity provides insight for expansion in Indonesian Language. It is analogous to the phenomenon of religious language which continue to search for universal values of culture and existing knowledge. Cultural language insists on diversity for grace, while thrusting religious language universality which became the foundation for the various culture.Indonesian Language will be the bridge for the universality and diversity over the faculty  of  language  and  literature  education.  It  requires  the  completion  of  Indonesian Grammatical Structure to be more compatible with the universality of religion language including the adjustment of personal pronouns as numbered one, two, and at least three persons.In Arabic Grammatical Structure, Nahwu and Shorof, person pronoun consists of single, twin, and plural. While in Indonesian Grammatical Structure only recognize personal pronoun as singular and plural. In this study of grammatical structures are using a  qualitative  approach  refers  to  the  Hahslm  method  based  on  methodology  of Sinlammim. This methodology is based on the Islam which is the foundation of Al-Quran highlights  Sura  Ali  Imran  [3]:  19  and  Al -Hijr  [15]:  87.  Required  a  nonlinear thinking  to  combine  the comparative  analysis, analogy,  and  notification  in  religion  and diversity of knowledge.Personal  pronoun  of  the  2nd  and  3rd  need  to  be  inserted  in  the  form  of  a personal pronoun which amounts of two so that the pronoun which amounts of many as a personal pronoun at least three people. With inserted pronouns 2nd person namely Kada or  You  Both  and  pronouns  3rd  person  namely  Dida  or  He/She  Both,  then  the Indonesian  have  found  a  more  universal  grammar  and  reflect  diversity.  Thus  meaning 'many' in religion can be agreed upon as 'something that amounts to at least three', It will be contributing a new grammar in search of knowledge core and cultural diversity.

Abstract

Abstract: A good quality learning sources can support in the learning activity process to develop students' potential. Moreover, a good quality learning sources can attract and stimulate students' interest in learning. In accomplishing those objectives, books hold a strategic role. In that case, it is reasonable to make a development on an enrichment book which not only enriching knowledge, but also skills and shaping a positive personality in students. The purpose of this study is 1) to describe the needs of learners and educators of enrichment books; 2) drafting the enrichment book; and 3) outlining the expert's judgment of the enrichment draft. The content of conservation values of humanism is given in order to instill moral values. This research designs Research and Development (R & D) Thiagarajan model modified in 3 stages, such as define, design, and development. The results of this study are based on the results of questionnaire analysis needs of learners and educators who compiled into principles of book development. These principles include aspects of the material, aspects of presentation, aspects of graphics, aspects of language, aspects of learning materials needs creative writing fantasy story text, and aspects of the needs of the values of conservation of humanism.  Abstrak: Sumber belajar yang berkualitas mendukung proses pembelajaran guna mengembangkan potensi peserta didik. Selain itu juga dapat menarik minat dan merangsang peserta didik untuk belajar. Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut, buku memiliki peran strategis di dalamnya. Oleh karena itu, perlunya pengembangan buku pengayaan yang tidak hanya memperkaya pengetahuan tetapi juga mengembangkan keterampilan dan membentuk kepribadian positif peserta didik. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah  mendeskripsi kebutuhan peserta didik dan pendidik terhadap buku pengayaan dan  menyusun draf buku pengayaan serta menguraikan penilaian ahli terhadap draf buku pengayaan. Muatan nilai-nilai konservasi humanisme diberikan dengan tujuan untuk menanamkan nilai-nilai moral. Dengan desain Research and Development (R&D) model Thiagarajan yang dimodifikasi dalam 3 tahap, yaitu define, design, dan development dihasilkan  prinsip-prinsip pengembangan buku. Prinsip-prinsip tersebut meliputi aspek materi, aspek penyajian, aspek grafika, aspek bahasa, aspek kebutuhan materi pembelajaran menulis kreatif teks cerita fantasi, dan aspek kebutuhan nilai-nilai konservasi humanisme.

Abstract

Abstract: According to Sperber and Wilson, communication in advertisement is ostensive-inferential communication. This communication needs contextual effect and ostensive stimulus which was known to listener's (market segmentation). In WRP 6 day diet pack ad, advertising agency employs some contextual effect and ostensive stimulus to make listener interested and wanted to buy the product. To explore about the communication in WRP 6 day diet pack ad, this paper employs pragmatics method, especially relevance theory. Tanaka says that relevance theory serve comprehensive account to investigate speeches in order to get speaker meaning. The result of this research is advertising agency (speaker) addressed this ad to middle high class women as market segmentation (listener). Advertising agency also employed some contextual effect such as body discourse, health discourse, and others diet program and also employed ostensive stimulus such as color and font size to make high relevance speech. Keywords: ostensive-inferencial communication; ostensive stimulus; constectual effect; theory of relevance Abstrak: Komunikasi dalam iklan menurut Sperber dan Wilson merupakan komunikasi ostensif-inferensial yang melibatkan efek kontekstual dan stimulus ostensive diketahui oleh kawan tuturnya (pangsa pasar). Begitu pula dengan iklan WRP 6 day diet pack, agensi iklan memanfaatkan efek kontekstual yang berada dalam benak pangsa pasarnya agar mereka tertarik dan membeli produk tersebut. Untuk mengeksplorasi bentuk komunikasi dalam iklan WRP 6 day diet pack, artikel ini memanfaatkan pendekatan pragmatik, khususnya teori relevansi. Teori relevansi menurut Tanaka menyediakan catatan yang paling komprehensif dalam menyelidiki tuturan berdasarkan makna penutur. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menyelisik relevansi iklan WRP 6 day diet pack. Adapun temuan yang diperoleh dari artikel ini adalah agensi iklan WRP 6 day diet pack menujukkan iklan tersebut kepada perempuan dewasa dari golongan menengah atas sebagai kawan tutur atau pangsa pasar. Selain itu, agensi iklan memanfaatkan beberapa efek kontekstual, seperti wacana tubuh, kesehatan dan program diet lain serta memanfaatkan stimulus ostensif berupa pemilihan warna dan ukuran huruf untuk menghasilkan tuturan dengan derajat relevansi yang tinggi. Abstract

Abstract: This paper shows the intrinsic elements that construct the novels Dahlan Iskan as main character; the educational value of the character in the novels Dahlan Iskan as main character; and utilization as a teaching materials of novel in High School. Methods used in this research is qualitative of content analysis with structural literary approach. The main data source is novel “Sepatu Dahlan” and “Surat Dahlan” by Khrisna Pabichara. Based on analysis the intrinsic elements of the novel form a coherent unity; the educational value of the character in the novel consisted of 16 values; and the results of the analysis used to compile teaching materials of novel in High School in the form of enrichment book of knowledge.   Abstrak: Tulisan ini memperlihatkan tiga hal, yakni unsur yang membangun novel bertokoh Dahlan Iskan; nilai pendidikan karakter dalam novel bertokoh Dahlan Iskan; dan pemanfaatannya sebagai bahan ajar teks novel di SMA/MA. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif analisis isi dengan pendekatan sastra struktural. Sumber data utama dalam penelitian ini adalah novel Sepatu Dahlan dan Surat Dahlan karya Khrisna Pabichara. Hasil analisis menunjukkan unsur pembangun novel membentuk kesatuan yang padu; nilai pendidikan karakter yang terdapat dalam novel terdiri atas 16 nilai; dan hasil analisis dimanfaatkan untuk menyusun bahan ajar novel di SMA/MA dalam bentuk buku pengayaan pengetahuan.
