Abstract

This paper presents a comprehensive literature survey focused on the critical topic of enhancing road safety through dynamic threat detection in Vehicular Ad Hoc Networks (VANETs). As our world becomes increasingly interconnected, road users’ safety is paramount, and VANETs have emerged as a promising solution for improving road safety by enabling real-time communication among vehicles and infrastructure. Our survey delves into the existing body of knowledge, summarizing key findings, methodologies, and advancements in the field of dynamic threat detection within VANETs. We analyze various approaches, including sensor-based systems, machine learning algorithms, and communication protocols, that have been proposed and evaluated in the literature. Furthermore, this survey explores the challenges and open issues in VANET-based road safety enhancement, such as privacy concerns, scalability, and the need for standardized communication protocols. We highlight the significance of adapting dynamic threat detection techniques to the unique characteristics of VANETs, where network conditions and the threat landscape can change rapidly. By synthesizing insights from existing research, this survey provides a valuable resource for researchers, practitioners, and policymakers seeking to understand the state of the art in VANET-based road safety and identify promising directions for future investigations. It underscores the importance of continued research to make our roads safer for all.

Abstract

This study investigates the implementation of Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) in the production of green chili sambal, focusing on biological, chemical, and physical hazards throughout raw materials, production processes, and final products. Data were collected through observation, hazard identification, determination of Critical Control Points (CCP), monitoring cooking temperature, and sanitation records. Results indicate that cooking is the only CCP, with a critical limit of ≥100°C for at least 10 minutes. Monitoring data revealed that some batches failed to meet this limit, requiring corrective action. Sanitation records highlight the importance of equipment cleaning to prevent cross-contamination. HACCP implementation effectively ensures food safety in small-scale sambal production and provides a model for similar small food enterprises.

Abstract

Parents are role models for their children and the family is also called the main foundation in the formation of disciplinary Islamic character in children. The purpose of this study is to analyze the impact of the lack of the role of parents in the education of children's disciplinary Islamic character. This research method uses a qualitative method with a field approach. The data collection technique is by means of direct observation, documentation and interviews using the resource persons of class X.X MAN 1 Bekasi students which amounted to 15 students, 1 BK teacher, and 3 parents. The results of the study show that all students say that it is the role of parents that is very important for their children, especially in the formation of disciplinary Islamic characters in students. The impact of the lack of the role of parents in Islamic character education on students is promiscuity around 46.6%, not respecting time by 33.3%, and participating in brawls around 20%.

Abstract

This study is a qualitative research using a descriptive method, aiming to determine the effectiveness of applying the Experiential Learning Method in classical guidance to enhance students' understanding of emotional regulation material based on students' perceptions. Effectiveness is determined by the alignment between the results obtained and the learning objectives. The research was conducted in the classroom of SD Islam Salman Al Farisi Bekasi, with 40 participants as the research subjects. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire form, triangulated with interviews and document analysis of student assignments. The results indicate that, according to students' perceptions, the application of the Experiential Learning Method in learning is effective, as shown by the achievement of learning outcomes. The implementation of the Experiential Learning Method also increases motivation, provides understanding and hands-on experience in emotional regulation, and enhances skills in expressing emotions.
