Abstract

In production planning, the company wants to make efficiency, especially on inventory stock or stock availability which must be controlled so that storage costs are not too long and the control process in purchasing raw materials can be adjusted as needed. The Matrial Requirement Planning (MRP) method is a method for planning raw material supplies with the aim of calculating the costs to be used, and the results of calculations using the MRP method, Lot For Lot (LOL) is the safest method to use because it costs a small amount of Rp. 111,276,000 with an ordering schedule for 1 period before it is needed, from other methods, namely EOQ and POQ. And the Forecasting Method is a method used to calculate needs in the following month with the aim of ensuring that the raw materials to be ordered can be adjusted, the forecasting method used is the Weighted Moving Average (WMA) because the MAPE calculation results have a small percentage of 6.94%, with a small percentage of safe calculation data to carry out the forecasting process in raw material planning

Abstract

Getting old is a natural process that happens to everyone. Elderly are individuals aged over 60 years who have decreased biological, psychological, social and economic functions. The important thing in designing housing for the elderly is comfort and safety for the elderly in terms of architecture. The study of behavioral architecture in residential design for the elderly is an alternative approach to creating comfortable and safe housing. This is because the elderly need more detailed and in-depth observations of their behavior which will later be implemented into building designs, both physical and non-physical, because a comfortable environment will have a positive psychological impact on the occupants. The Budi Mulia 3 Tresna Werdha Social institution in South Jakarta has inadequate buildings such as: small land and buildings, adequate courtyards without a healthy garden for the elderly, inadequate space in the guest house, materials that are hazardous to the elderly, such as the use of glass on the windows of the house which has started to break down, an inadequate kitchen, dirty rooms and a multipurpose room which has been used as a warehouse because it is not feasible. Because of these existing conditions, a redesign of the orphanage is needed to meet the need for comfort and safety for the elderly living in the social institution. The method used in this design includes evaluating the existing conditions by observing the physical and non-physical conditions in the orphanage, including collecting data on the residents of the orphanage including their characteristics and behavior, as well as collecting data on facilities and infrastructure that do not meet the standards and needs of the elderly. The evaluation continued with the re-planning of the building with an emphasis on the behavior of the elderly, then the building was redesigned. With this redesign, it is hoped that the residents of the Budi Mulia 3 Tresna Werdha Social Institution will have a residence that prioritizes comfort and safety based on the behavior of the elderly living in it.

Abstract

This research discusses the social interactions of children with Down syndrome through social media in the digital era. Down syndrome is a genetic disorder that causes sufferers to have a low level of intelligence and distinctive physical abnormalities. The aim of this research is to find out how social interactions of children with Down syndrome occur through social media in the digital era. This research uses a qualitative approach with case studies. The methods used to collect data include observation, interviews, and documentation. Four stages of qualitative data analysis were carried out, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation and the final step was drawing conclusions and verification. The population of this study were children with Down syndrome in Pacitan and Wonogiri Regency. The sample from this study was 10 children with Down syndrome and their parents. The results of this research show that children with Down syndrome can interact with other people more intensely with technology, namely through laptops and cellphones. Children with Down syndrome can send written messages via social media, namely WhatsApp, Facebook, and TikTok. This research provides new information because many previous studies only focused on studying the use of social media in normal children. In fact, children with Down syndrome also use social media as a means of interacting with other people. Further research needs to be done to determine the consequences of this interaction.
