Abstract

Education plays an important role in achieving the ideals of the Indonesian people in accordance with the formulation of the 1945 Constitution which clearly states that the purpose of education is to promote public welfare and educate the life of the nation, essentially the realization of these noble individuals of course it will balance the nation's intelligence in prospering the country. Based on this, education must be able to foster noble character so that later can produce generations that are intelligent and useful for the nation. The problem lies in how to cultivate noble character in students. School institutions by means of teacher teaching are central to instilling students' noble character. Therefore this study aims to find out how storytelling and role-playing activities can foster noble character. This study uses qualitative research with the type of research library. Research libraries are research techniques using book sources to develop science. Clear information and sources have been arranged systematically. Storytelling with role-playing techniques is something that students really like. This will be learning that can stimulate student activity. Inserting values into a story will be useful in developing a noble character. Noble character is a sincere and conscious act that arises from within a person. By telling stories, students will get knowledge about good grades and role-playing will provide opportunities for students to apply the knowledge gained. So that it will become good habits and emerge noble character in students.

Abstract

The Development of Thematic Teaching Materials Islam and Local Wisdom Based Class IV of MIN (Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri (State of Islamic Elementary School)) Seduri and MIS (Private of Islamic Elementary School) Nurul Amal Mojokerto Regenct. The application of curriculum 2013 requires every student of elementary school from first up to sixth graders to apply thematic study. The interview with the teacher of fourth grader of MIN (Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri (State of Islamic Elementary School)) Seduri and MIS (Private of Islamic Elementary School) Nurul Amal Mojokerto Regency and also the observation in the field show that the teaching materials used from Ministry of Education and Culture of the theme of ‘My Place’ is not fit in with the condition of students’ place in Mojokerto Regency while the essence of curriculum 2013 of thematic study is to support the contextual aspect and close with students’ place. Else, the character education in curriculum 2013 must also be applied through Islamic habits which are done in school. These habits are not discussed in guide book from Ministry of Education and Culture. Therefore, this research objective is to develop the product of thematic teaching materials Islamic and local wisdom based. The feasibility of teaching materials which are developed is assessed according to the validity, interesting, effectiveness and application levels. The research result and development of thematic study materials are in form of (1) thematic teaching materials Islamic and local wisdom based. The materials are integrated with Islamic values in the teaching and learning activities and the materials about local wisdom of Mojokerto Regency such as historical buildings, special foods, dances and handicrafts. (2) the experts validity shows percentage of 89.17% with the criteria of high validity and deserved to be used. (3) the interesting level shows percentage of 93.12% with the criteria of high interesting and deserved to be used. (4) the effectiveness level shows percentage of 78.01 with the criteria of high effective. (5) application level shows percentage of 86.08% with the criteria of very good and fulfil the elements of application for teaching materials.

Abstract

The Development of IPA Module based on Islamic and scientific integration to Increase the Result Study of the Students in the sixth class in MIN 2 Mojokerto. This development of IPA module based on Islamic and scientific integration in MIN 2 Mojokerto is based on gaps include; first, the IPA result studies of the sixth class students in MIN 2 shows that 30% of students have not reach KKM score which is established 70; second, the IPA teaching material which is used has not an interesting design and the concept based on Islamic and scientific integration; third, there is not a teaching material which guides the students to get IPA concept as a medium for them to increase their beliefs toward Allah SWT. According to the research problem which is explained before, so the development of IPA module based on Islamic and scientific integration becomes an important thing to do. This development is to produce the development of IPA module based on Islamic and scientific integration; to know the specification, the use of, the effectiveness, and the interesting thing of IPA module based on Islamic and scientific integration in MIN 2 Mojokerto. The development of this module uses ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation) development, model. These subject assessments for feasibility module are material expert, design expert, linguist, learning expert, and also the sixth class students in MIN 2 Mojokerto. The principal ways of this research are initial conditions analysis, the development of a planning module, a writing module, and an assessment module. The collecting data which are used include questionnaires, interview, and the result of studies.

Abstract

In the Qur'an the term brain is not known, to illustrate the intelligence used the term of reason. The brain is the meaning of reason in the physical dimension. 'Aql is the power of thought, effort, deception, trickery, ingenuity, cunning, and the ability to see. Muslim philosophers understand 'Aql as binding, attaching, and limiting. The term 'Aql can be found in Qs. As-Syams: 7-8. Intellect is an active and conscious organ, binding and holding objects of science with words or other forms of symbolism. Neuroscience is neural science that studies the nervous system, mainly studies neurons or nerve cells with a multidisciplinary approach. Neurosains is a science that specializes in scientific studies of the nervous system. Neuroscience has traces in Islam. Islamic education has traces in the nature of neuroscience. Therefore, Islamic education can be integrated-interconnected with neuroscience.

Abstract

Humans naturally tend to have fun, and love for many wives, children and possessions. This has been described by Allah Almighty in His Word, Surah Al Imran verse 14; "It is made to feel beautiful in the human view of love for what is desired, in the form of women, children, accumulated property in the form of gold and silver, selected horses, farm animals and fields. That is the pleasure of living in the world, and beside Allah is a good place to return ". This verse, can be interpreted as an explanation that the tendency towards pleasure is indeed the nature of man. Therefore, it is certain that he is motivated to try to be rich and so forth. Whereas banning this natural urge is a violation both in the eyes of Islam and applicable law. As for Islam, it has regulated how humans obtain wealth according to the level of needs and abilities and how they use it so that their wealth will be useful for religion, the world.

Abstract

In this study we focus on two things; the first is the implementation of acceleration program in SMAN 5 Surabaya, the second is the curriculum development in the field of study of Islamic Religion in the acceleration program in SMAN 5 Surabaya. To obtain answers from both research focuses, we use qualitative descriptive method. The data source applies triangulation, namely documentation, observation and interviews. Documentation techniques are used to obtain data about documents I and document II, then we use observation and interview techniques to find the data about the situation, conditions, and circumstances of the school (starting from the environment, student activities, student behavior, learning process, etc.).

Abstract

Education in Indonesia is currently supposed to be able to create a quality human being and character. Many people who have a broad knowledge but do not have good morals, giving rise to various problems related to morals. The formation of character students can begin from family, school and community. In developed countries the formation of character can start by applying an appropriate curriculum. By using scientific learning, curriculum 2013 is expected to form the character of students in accordance with the 18 characters that are desired by the Government, that is: religious, honest, tolerance, discipline, hard work, creative, independent, democratic, curiosity, passion, love of the fatherland, to appreciate the achievements, communicative, peace-loving, an avid reader, care for the environment, social care, and responsibility. The character values that are integrated in the scientific learning through observing activities, ask yourself, try, analyze, and communication. With a scientific approach in the curriculum of 2013, educators are able to make learning more fun, more active, more challenging, and more to give space to the students to develop their creativity and potential, and make students become more self help in addressing a problem. Abstract

Asbab An-Nuzul is a science to know the existence of causes and events concerning the background of a verse or several verses revealed by Allah, namely the verse of the Qur'an in the form of Allah's words. The Qur'an was revealed through the intermediary of the angel Gabriel revealed to the Prophet Muhammad. Asbab an-Nuzul aims to explain the wisdom of the provisions of the law and to specialize laws that are general in nature. al-Qur'an is a special foundation or a reference for Islamic community guidelines, by understanding the meaning of Asbab An-Nuzul, the community will be more able to add insight and understanding of the history of the Qur'an, besides that the community will better understand the origin of the verses revealed, in this case someone who understands the character of Asbab An-Nuzul someone will know how to apply and realize in everyday life and imitate him. Islamic education also examines the issue of Asbab an-Nuzul, because in understanding the verses of the Qur'an there are things that can be understood directly and some need explanations, therefore before understanding about Islamic education it is necessary to learn about the character or character of Asbab-an Nuzul first.

Abstract

Mahasiswa merupakan darah muda yang mempunyai semangat yang tinggi dalam menemukan jati dirinya. Termasuk dalam bertindak, mahasiswa selalu merasa dirinya paling benar apalagi mereka lebih mengunggulkan golongan tertentu dan sikap inklusivisme. Bahkan ketika seorang mahasiswa idealis dan fanatik sempit dimungkinkan akan muncul sikap intoleran terhadap mahasiswa lain yang tidak sama denganya.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the philosophical analysis of Ibn Miskawaih thoughts (biographical sketches, concepts of educational thought, and their relevance in the modern era). Education is an effort made by someone to make a change towards a better one. In Indonesia education is more interpreted as a formal institution that has the aim to develop the academic potential of students in order to realize educational goals. One of the leaders of Islamic education, Ibn Miskawaih. Ibn Miskawaih is one of the leaders of Islamic education who contributed ideas to education. The focus of this study on the philosophical analysis of Ibn Miskawaih's thoughts (biographical sketches, concepts of educational thought, and their relevance to modern diera). This study uses the method of literature and analytical studies to build a theoretical framework in this article. In conclusion, Ibn Maskawaih considered the significance of education and the environment for humans in relation to moral formation. Thus human beings with their minds can choose and distinguish which ones should be done and which ones should be left behind. Ibn Maskawaih's thinking in education cannot be separated from his concept of man and morals. Ibn Maskawaih views human beings as having three powers, from those three types of power which are two from the material element and one from the spirit of God.
