Abstract

This study examines the factors influencing the implementation of e-procurement in the Ogan Ilir Regency, considering the role of behavioral intention as a mediating variable and using the UTAUT framework as the analytical foundation. With a quantitative approach and survey method involving 145 respondents from UKPBJ in Ogan Ilir Regency, with data analyzed using the SEM-PLS technique. The findings reveal that performance expectancy, effort expectancy, and social influence significantly affect behavioral intention while facilitating conditions impact e-procurement usage directly. The findings also show that behavioral intention significantly affects e-procurement usage, highlighting the crucial role of user intention in technology adoption. Moreover, behavioral intention effectively mediates the impact of performance expectancy and social influence on e-procurement usage. In contrast, effort expectancy does not show a significant effect through this mediating variable. These results support the UTAUT theory, which emphasizes the importance of behavioral intention in technology adoption. From a practical perspective, e-procurement managers need to enhance perceptions of benefits, ease of use, and social support, and provide adequate facilities to boost interest and usage in e-procurement. This study offers valuable insights for improving transparency, efficiency, and accountability in procuring goods and services in Ogan Ilir Regency.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a significant role in regional economic development and in reducing unemployment. However, in 2017, the number of MSMEs in Malinau Regency decreased from 1,803 to 1,010 MSMEs, unlike other regions which saw growth. This decline was caused by limited capital and insufficient use of technology. This study aims to analyze the characteristics of MSMEs in Malinau Kota Subdistrict and to formulate strategies for their development. Using purposive sampling, this research involved 10 micro-enterprises in Malinau Kota Subdistrict, with data analysis employing descriptive qualitative, quantitative, and SWOT analysis. The results showed that micro-enterprises in the agricultural sector in Malinau Kota had business ages ranging from 1 to 16 years, employed 1-2 workers (mostly family members), and many had attended training. The types of businesses operated included various processed food products. The capital for these businesses mainly came from personal funds. The development strategy for MSMEs in Malinau Kota Subdistrict was categorized in quadrant I (SO strategy), which involves increasing production and product verification to meet market demand. The recommendations are that micro-business owners implement the SO strategy to increase production and utilize available labor, and that the government provide flexible credit assistance to support MSME capital.

Abstract

This study analyzes the effect of Carbon Emission (CE), Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Return on Equity (ROE), and Leverage on bank lending to manufacturing and mining companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, using the Panel Data Regression Method. With a sample of 15 companies from 2018 to 2022, the results of the study show that CE and CSR do not have a significant effect on bank lending. On the contrary, ROE and Leverage have a significant effect, where ROE has a negative impact and Leverage has a positive impact on bank loans. These findings conclude that banks in Indonesia are still more focused on financial fundamentals in assessing corporate loan applications, without considering environmental and social risks. This study underlines the importance of innovation in credit structures and loan products to include considerations of environmental and social risks in the future, in order to achieve decarbonization targets and the Paris Agreement.

Abstract

The non-base sector, which can be considered a non-leading sector, may address issues in the non-base sector with proper management. In the future, development should not only rely on the existing base sector but also optimize the potential of the non-base sector in Batu City. The existence of infrastructure is crucial in supporting economic and social development, as good infrastructure can enhance effectiveness and efficiency for both businesses and society. Therefore, this study is expected to serve as a reference for government programs aimed at improving the non-base sector in Batu City. Data collection was conducted using observation techniques, questionnaires, and documentation, followed by analysis through Economic Sector Analysis, Priority Non-Base Sector Analysis, and Multiple Regression Analysis. Based on the analysis of the non-base economic sector, five sectors were further analyzed using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) to determine the priority non-base sector. From the four selected respondents, the priority non-base economic sector identified in Batu City is the transportation and warehousing sector. The analysis results indicate that infrastructure, including roads, electricity, and telecommunications, does not significantly impact the transportation and warehousing sector. Therefore, these infrastructures need to be improved in the future to enhance the economy through the non-base sector in Batu City.

Abstract

Flood disasters are caused by high rainfall intensity and the close proximity of residential areas to the river, as observed in Long Pahangai I and Long Pahangai II Villages. Flooding in these villages occurs frequently every year, with varying water levels. In 2024, floods occurred more than twice in May, reaching a water level of 3 meters above the road surface. Currently, there are no designated evacuation points for flood disasters in the study area. However, during flooding events, affected residents typically seek refuge in unaffected homes within the community. Given this situation, it is crucial to consider the characteristics of the area when planning for flood disaster evacuation. The evacuation point planning process takes into account the capacity and characteristics of the study location, while evacuation routes are determined using Network Analysis to identify the most effective paths. The analysis results indicate the identification of two temporary evacuation points, one final evacuation point, and three flood disaster evacuation routes distributed across Long Pahangai I and Long Pahangai II Villages.

Abstract

The rapid expansion of digital services has intensified competition in the online food delivery (OFD) industry, pushing businesses to enhance service quality to meet customer expectations. This study evaluates the McDonald's mobile application using the E-SERVQUAL model and Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) to examine the link between service quality dimensions and user satisfaction. A quantitative approach was used, with data collected from McDonald's app users in Indonesia through online questionnaires. The findings highlight that responsiveness, reliability, and system efficiency are critical factors affecting customer satisfaction, while application security, transaction smoothness, and system responsiveness require improvement. Based on the results, recommendations were proposed to enhance system stability, security features, and user interface design, ultimately aiming to increase customer satisfaction and loyalty in the competitive digital food service market.
