Abstract

Employee performance is a key factor in achieving organizational goals, especially in the public service sector such as Perumda Pasar Argha Nayottama, Buleleng Regency. Low work effectiveness is often influenced by internal and external factors of employees, including leadership style, social competence, and work motivation. This study aims to determine the effect of leadership, social competence, and work motivation on employee performance, both partially and simultaneously. The method used is a quantitative approach with multiple linear regression analysis techniques. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to the entire employee population at Perumda Pasar Argha Nayottama. The results of the study indicate that the three independent variables have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Inspirational and supportive leadership encourages motivation and strengthens social competence. Social competence contributes to the creation of healthy collaboration in the work environment, while work motivation has been proven to be the main driver in increasing employee productivity. Simultaneously, these three variables support each other in forming optimal employee performance. These findings provide practical implications for management to develop an integrated and humanistic human resource approach in improving the quality of public services.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of E-Learning and Organizational Commitment on the Performance of KPPS (Polling Organizing Group) members in the implementation of the 2024 Election in Cirebon Regency. In the context of increasing challenges and complexities in the implementation of elections, strengthening human resource capacity through digital training and strengthening commitment to the organization is crucial. The research method used is quantitative with data collection techniques through questionnaires to 150 KPPS member respondents. The results of the analysis show that both E-Learning and Organizational Commitment partially and simultaneously have a significant effect on the performance of KPPS members. E-Learning has been shown to improve understanding of material and work efficiency, while Organizational Commitment encourages emotional involvement and moral responsibility for tasks. These findings indicate that the combination of technology-based training and internalization of organizational values can increase the effectiveness and professionalism of election organizers. This study suggests the importance of optimizing e-learning platforms and strengthening commitment strategies to support the success of future elections.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Sharia financial literacy and risk perception on the intention to use Shopee PayLater among Generation Z students at UIN Alauddin Makassar, as well as to evaluate the role of religiosity as a moderating variable in this relationship. A quantitative approach using the Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) method was employed. The sample consisted of 210 respondents, determined based on Hair’s conservative sample size approach. Data were collected through a questionnaire covering the variables of Sharia financial literacy, risk perception, intention to use, and religiosity. The results showed that Sharia financial literacy had no significant effect on the intention to use Shopee PayLater. In contrast, risk perception had a significant negative effect, indicating that the higher the risk perception, the lower the intention to use the service. The interaction between religiosity and Sharia financial literacy, as well as between religiosity and risk perception, did not show a significant moderating effect on the intention to use Shopee PayLater. Therefore, religiosity does not moderate the relationship between Sharia financial literacy or risk perception and the intention to use Shopee PayLater. This study provides theoretical contributions to the development and deeper understanding of Sharia financial literacy, risk perception, intention to use, and religiosity in the context of using PayLater-based digital financial services.

Abstract

High expectations for TikTok Shop as an e-commerce platform that can increase sales, but in reality, an average of around 1.2% complete transactions, resulting in a relatively low conversion rate. The focus of this research study is whether viral marketing and consumer engagement affect the purchase intention of fashion products on TikTok Shop. This study was conducted in Cirebon City with the research period in May 2025. The research variables studied are viral marketing (X1), consumer engagement (X2), and purchase intention (Y). The population of the city of Cirebon aged 20 to 41 years is set as the research population with a size of 134,143 individuals, and the sample size used is 399 individuals. This research study is classified as a quantitative study and the analysis used is Partial Least Square Structural Equation Modeling (SEM-PLS) with analysis conducted using SmartPLS. The results of the study show that all indicators meet the validity and reliability requirements suitable for analysis. The direct effect of X1 on Y is 0.220, which means an increase of one unit in X1 can increase Y by 22%, and the direct effect of X2 on Y is 0.608, which means an increase of one unit in X2 can increase Y by 60.8%. The hypothesis testing accepted that there is an influence between X1 and X2 on Y. The proportion of influence is on the coefficient of determination, which is 0.581 or 58.1%, meaning that about 41.9% is influenced by other factors.

Abstract

Digital transformation has become a crucial element in improving work efficiency within the government sector, including in remote areas such as Belibi Village, Central Kalimantan. This study aims to describe the implementation process of cloud computing, identify the challenges faced, and formulate strategies to improve work efficiency in the Belibi Village Government Office. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews and observations with village officials and community figures. The findings show that although cloud computing offers significant benefits such as efficient data storage and online collaboration, its implementation is still hindered by weak digital infrastructure, low technological literacy among staff, and the absence of formal training. Suggested strategies include improving internet access, providing supporting devices, offering technical training, and collaborating with cloud service providers. This study concludes that digital transformation in village governance requires a gradual approach and comprehensive policy support to ensure successful and sustainable implementation.

Abstract

This study investigates the influence of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) scores on stock returns, incorporating firm size as a control variable. The research focuses on companies listed in the LQ45 index on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the period from 2019 to 2023. A total of 18 companies were selected through purposive sampling, yielding 90 panel data observations. This study employs a quantitative approach with an explanatory research design. Descriptive statistics and panel data regression analyses were conducted using the EViews application to assess both the individual (partial) and joint (simultaneous) effects of ESG dimensions on stock returns. The findings reveal that the Environmental and Governance scores significantly and positively affect stock returns, indicating that companies with higher environmental responsibility and stronger governance mechanisms tend to deliver better stock performance. In contrast, the Social score does not exhibit a statistically significant effect on stock returns, suggesting that social initiatives are yet to be perceived as a major investment consideration in the Indonesian capital market. The control variable, firm size, was included to account for the effect of company scale on stock performance. Overall, the results support the signaling theory, which posits that ESG disclosures serve as credible signals to investors.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the influence of economic growth, the Human Development Index (HDI), the Economic Complexity Index (ECI), imports, state debt, and corruption on government spending in Indonesia during the period 1995–2024. Using the Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) method, this study evaluates the short-term and long-term relationships between these variables. The study results show that economic growth and state debt have a positive and significant effect in the short and long term. The ECI has a significant negative effect on spending, indicating that economic complexity is correlated with fiscal efficiency. The HDI has a positive effect in the short term, but is not significant in the long term. Meanwhile, imports do not show a consistently significant effect. Corruption has a negative impact in the short term, but turns positive and significant in the long term. These findings emphasize the importance of strengthening economic growth, sustainable debt management, improving the quality of human resources, and reforming budget governance to improve the effectiveness of state spending.

Abstract

This study analyzes the impact of gender equality on per capita income in the Sumatra region using a panel data approach with the Random Effects Model (REM) estimation method. The model yielded a coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.73825. In the context of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), gender equality is considered a key element in promoting inclusive and sustainable economic growth. This study utilizes panel data from 2018 to 2023, covering seven main indicators: the Human Development Index (HDI), the Gender Development Index (GDI), the Gender Inequality Index (GII), the ratio of average years of schooling between males and females (RLS), the ratio of the productive age population between males and females (RUP), the ratio of labor force participation rate between males and females (RTPAK), and women's representation in parliament (PP). The analysis results indicate that the Human Development Index and the ratio of average years of schooling between males and females have a positive and significant effect on per capita income in the Sumatra region.

Abstract

Sharia economics is considered to be a fairer and more stable economic system than conventional economics. This study aims to analyze the resilience of the Islamic economy in the face of the crisis, which proved to be better in 2008. Many Islamic banks have stronger resilience than conventional banks that use a lot of speculative instruments. Although there is a lot of research on Sharia economic resilience during the pandemic, there is still a lack of studies on post-pandemic resilience. The post-pandemic situation is very important because it builds the economy after a difficult crisis, including in Indonesia, where there is a slowdown in economic growth. The Indonesian government has taken many steps, including monetary policies for economic recovery, such as the PEN Program, which provides tax incentives, the recovery of SOEs, and support for MSMEs. This study has two hypotheses: whether or not the sharia economy is strong in the face of post-pandemic economic instability. The method used is qualitative with expert exploration and comparative analysis. The results show that the sharia economy has advantages such as a fair profit-sharing system, but also faces challenges such as a lack of capital and innovation. Therefore, strengthening regulations and public education is very important for the development of the sharia economy in the future.
