Abstract

Financial distress describes the condition of the company's financial decline before it went bankrupt. This research aims to test the influence of Sales Growth, Free Cash Flow, Operating Capacity, and Liquidity on Financial Distress in state-owned companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2019-2022. This type of research is a quantitative study with secondary data obtained from the Indonesian Stock Exchange. The sampling method in this study used a purposive sampling method that produced 43 observation samples at state-owned companies in 2019-2022. Tests in this study used multiple linear regression analysis methods with SPSS as a research test tool. Research results show that Sales Growth and operating capacity do not significantly affect financial distribution. Meanwhile, free cash flow and liquidity significantly positively affect financial distribution.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the impact of job fit and person-organization fit on performance, using organizational citizenship behavior as a mediating factor. This study approach is quantitative. The type of research used in this research is primary data. The population of this study consisted of 338 employees at Perumda Air Minum Tirta Moedal Semarang City. Sampling was done by purposive method and the sampling technique applied was the Slovin formula, so that the number of samples in this study was 90 respondents. The analysis technique uses a statistical package for social science (SPSS) software version 25. The results of this study indicate that Person Organization Fit, Person job fit affects Organizational Citizenship Behavior. Person Organization Fit does not have a significant impact on employee performance. Person Job Fit and Organizational Citizenship Behavior affect employee performance. Organizational Citizenship Behavior can mediate the impact between Person Organization Fit on employee performance. Organizational Citizenship Behavior can mediate the impact of a Person's Job Fit on employee performance.

Abstract

To achieve success in increasing employee retention, companies must pay attention to several factors, including providing appropriate training to employees, providing career development, and providing appropriate compensation so that they feel cared for by the company and provide their best performance to the company. The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of training, career development, and compensation on employee retention at PT Seiwa Indonesia. Data collection was carried out utilizing observation and questionnaires. The sampling technique was simple random sampling using the Slovin formula with a sample of 87 people in the population. This research uses quantitative methods using validity tests, reliability tests, multicollinearity tests, heteroscedasticity tests, multiple regression tests, t-tests, and F tests with the help of SPSS statistics. Based on the test results using the t-test, it shows that compensation partially has a positive and significant effect on employee retention, while job training and career development have no effect on employee retention, the test results using the F test show that job training, career development and compensation simultaneously have a positive effect on employee retention, the results of testing the coefficient of determination on the Adjusted R Square (R2) variables of job training, career development, and compensation can explain the magnitude of the influence of product quality, promotion and price on customer satisfaction of 61.5% while 38.5% is influenced by other factors.

Abstract

Various factors influence foreign direct investment in Indonesia. This study's main objective is to determine the influence of foreign exchange policies resulting from exports, imports, inflation rates, and exchange rates on foreign direct investment (FDI) in Indonesia in 2018-2022. This data was obtained from the Central Statistics Agency, Bank Indonesia, Ministry of Finance and Trade. The analysis technique used in this research is multiple linear regression. Apart from that, a t-test can be carried out to determine the significance of the influence of the independent variable on the dependent variable. The calculation results show that the Export, Import, and Inflation variables in the short term and long term have a positive and significant effect on foreign direct investment in Indonesia, while the exchange rate does not have a positive and significant effect on Foreign Direct Investment. Variables This research is quantitative research using time series financial data from 2018-2022.

Abstract

The development of globalization challenges has brought companies into a free era that is increasingly competitive in achieving goals through the utilization of human resources in labor productivity through employee job satisfaction. This research aims to research and analyze the influence of workload and compensation on employee job satisfaction at PT Orderplizz Indonesia Maju. The sample in this study was 37 respondents using the Non-Probability Sampling method with saturated sampling techniques. The data analysis technique uses Structural Equation Model- Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS). The research results showed that workload had a significant negative effect on acceptable job satisfaction and compensation had a significant positive effect on acceptable job satisfaction.

Abstract

Due to the advent of the contemporary period and the effects of globalization, smartphones are now an essential tool for people in every walk of life. Effective marketing techniques like E-Wom and Perceived quality are required to improve purchasing decisions. This study uses the Xiaomi smartphone as the research object among UPN Veteran Jawa Timur students to ascertain the impact of E-Wom and Perceived Quality on purchasing decisions. This study uses a quantitative methodology. Students at UPN Veteran Jawa Timur who own Xiaomi cellphones make up the study's population. One hundred respondents, Xiaomi smartphone users, and UPN Veteran Jawa Timur students make up the sample. Every test carried out with the SmartPLS program shows that every test satisfies the necessary threshold values, guaranteeing dependability.

Abstract

This study explores how live streaming shopping, twin event promotions, and E-WOM impact impulse buying behavior among Gen Z users of the Shopee e-commerce platform. It is intended to serve as a scholarly reference for future research. The study employed a quantitative descriptive approach, utilizing Partial Least Squares (PLS) for data analysis. The results suggest that while live streaming shopping and E-WOM do not affect impulse buying behavior among Gen Z users of Shopee in Surabaya, twin event promotions contribute to their impulse buying behavior.

Abstract

Almost every woman possesses skincare products. On the other hand, Glad2Glow sunscreen has been the subject of internet rumors lately because its ingredients list does not match what's on the label. The purpose of this research is to examine how users of the social media platform TikTok in the city of Surabaya, Indonesia, make purchasing decisions for Glad2Glow products based on electronic word of mouth and brand image. This study makes use of SEM PLS analysis, which is a technique for analyzing structural equation modeling data. In this study, researchers used a non-probability sampling technique called purposive sampling, which entails giving some variables more weight than others. In this study, 70 participants were surveyed (10 indicators x 7). The research findings indicate that in Surabaya City, Electronic Word of Mouth plays a positive and significant role in influencing consumers to purchase Glad2Glow products on TikTok. On the social media platform TikTok in Surabaya City, product purchases of Glad2Glow are positively and significantly impacted by brand image.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the level of women's involvement in politics among Islamic communities living in Sabungan Village, Sungai Kanan Sub-district, South Labuhanbatu Regency. This research uses qualitative methodology, which is a type of field research that collects information from the target or research subject, commonly called informants or respondents. Data collection tools such as interviews and observations were used. The research findings show that the Islamic community in Sabungan Village has both traditional and modern views regarding women's involvement in Islamic politics. The level of women's political participation in this hamlet is still relatively low, but there is increasing awareness and support from various community groups to become more actively involved. Religion, education, and economics are key factors influencing women's participation. This study confirms that to increase women's political participation, a comprehensive strategy is needed, which includes improving political education and providing support from religious and community leaders.

Abstract

This research aims to explore and analyze the cultural values of puah manus and lufut dance among the Timorese in shaping the management control system of companies. The research used ethnographic methods by exploring and interpreting the subjective meanings contained in the culture by conducting interviews with research informants including the director, treasurer, and administration. The study identifies four closely interconnected values influencing the company's management control system. These values include puah manus and lufut dance. The findings underscore the relevance of Timorese cultural values in implementing the company's management control system. This research contributes to advancing a more effective management control system for organizations. The implementation of the puah manus and lufut dance cultures of the Timorese in shaping the management control system is a new area that has not been previously studied. This research is limited to the scope of management control in a company with a Timorese approach and does not compare it with other companies and cultures.
