Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of direct marketing and Brand Ambassador on the repurchase intentions of TikTok application users in Yogyakarta City. Using a quantitative and associative approach, data was collected through a questionnaire distributed to 100 TikTok users in Yogyakarta. The results of multiple linear regression analysis show that direct marketing and the Ambassador brand have a significant influence on repurchase intentions, both partially and simultaneously. Direct marketing, which involves direct communication between sellers and buyers, has been proven to be effective in increasing willingness to repurchase significantly. Apart from that, choosing the right brand ambassador who is attractive, trustworthy and has relevant skills also has a positive impact on consumers' desire to make repeat purchases. These findings highlight the importance of direct marketing and brand ambassadors in marketing strategies to increase consumer loyalty and repurchase intentions for products or services offered through the TikTok application.

Abstract

Hedging is an action taken by investors, both individuals and governments and companies to protect value due to the risk of price changes. Investors and companies must have good risk management. This research aims to discuss further the determination of hedging on foreign exchange, using the meta-analysis method. The data source used is secondary data, namely data obtained from previous research. The results show that almost all companies hedge to minimize risk, although there is a multinational company that does not do so.

Financial statement falsification involving company management and auditors is a prevalent issue in the business landscape. Ensuring the integrity of audit outcomes holds paramount importance in verifying the adherence of financial statements to generally accepted accounting standards (GAAP). This research aimed to assess the impact of audit fees, audit tenure, and auditor turnover on audit quality. Employing a quantitative research methodology, descriptive analysis and logistic regression tests were conducted to evaluate the hypotheses. The study targeted publicly traded companies within the financial sector, specifically in the insurance sub-sector, listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) from 2018 to 2022. Sample selection utilized purposive sampling techniques. Results reveal that audit fees significantly influence audit quality, whereas audit tenure and auditor turnover do not exhibit significant effects. This study contributes to efforts aimed at advancing audit quality.

Abstract

This study aims to test and analyze the influence of organizational identification factors, university reputation, tuition fees, and infrastructure on the satisfaction of new students who will later recommend private universities. The research method used is quantitative. This study involved 164 respondents from new students of the 2023 batch of the Islamic University of Indonesia. Data were collected through an online questionnaire using a Google form and analyzed using SPSS and PLS-SEM with SmartPLS software. The results of this study state that organizational identification and tuition fees have a positive and significant effect on student satisfaction. However, the university's reputation and infrastructure do not show a direct positive relationship with student satisfaction. In addition, the results of this study also highlight that student satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on their intention to recommend the university to prospective students. This is very important for university management because it shows that efforts to increase organizational identification and set affordable tuition fees, will later encourage them to recommend the university. This study contributes to the enrichment of higher education marketing literature. This study also recommends marketing managers improve the factors that make students satisfied at the university.

This study is based on the understanding that organizational changes, such as delayering, can influence the level of employee engagement. Previous studies have acknowledged the roles of transparent communication, transformational leadership, and employee organizational trust in enhancing the level of employee engagement. The aim of this study is to analyze the influence of transparent communication and transformational leadership on employee engagement through the mediation of employee organizational trust in the context of organizational change. This study adopts a cross-sectional design with purposive sampling technique. The respondents are the Firstluo-Level Functional PD appointed through the delayering mechanism in the Indonesian Douane Authority. A total of 424 respondent data were collected and further analyzed. Hypothesis testing was conducted using Structural Equation Model with Lisrel 8.8. The results show that transparent communication and transformational leadership have a significant positive effect on employee engagement. Furthermore, employee organizational trust partially mediates the relationship between transparent communication and transformational leadership with employee engagement. This study provides valuable insights for human resource management practitioners, emphasizing the importance of fostering transparent communication, implementing transformational leadership practices, and nurturing organizational trust to effectively enhance employee engagement during organizational change, particularly in the context of delayering within public sector organizations.
