Abstract

In Islamic banking, sharia-based customer service has an important role in encouraging sustainable relationships with Generation Z customers, who tend to assess service quality critically and have high expectations toward service performance. The research addresses whether value-based customer service directly translates into brand loyalty or if it requires an intermediate emotional response. Consequently, the primary objective is to evaluate how Sharia-based service quality contributes to loyalty formation among Generation Z customers in Bank Syariah Indonesia through the presence of customer satisfaction as an intermediate mechanism. The study adopted a quantitative design and employed the Structural Equation Modeling technique to process primary data gathered from 94 eligible respondents. The analytical model focused on both technical service dimensions and Islamic ethical values, such as integrity and empathy. The findings reveal that while Sharia-inspired customer service significantly boosts satisfaction, it fails to produce a direct measurable effect on customer loyalty. Instead, the results demonstrate a "full mediation" effect; satisfaction acts as the essential bridge, where high-quality service leads to contentment, which subsequently drives loyal behavior. This suggests that for the younger generation, loyalty is not an immediate reaction to service encounters but a gradual outcome of meeting their specific expectations for ethical and professional excellence.

Abstract

Employee performance is an important factor in determining the success of an organization, especially in government agencies that provide public services. This study aims to analyze the influence of organizational culture and work environment on employee performance at the Cirebon Regency Environmental Office. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method involving 134 respondents from a population of 200 employees determined using the Slovin formula. Data were collected through questionnaires using the Likert scale and analyzed using SPSS through validity tests, reliability tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression analysis, t-tests, F-tests, and determination coefficients. The results of the study show that organizational culture and work environment partially and simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. The determination coefficient shows that both variables explain some of the variation in employee performance, while the rest is influenced by other factors outside of the research model. These findings emphasize the importance of strengthening organizational culture and creating a supportive work environment to improve employee performance.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of service quality, digital promotion, price, and consumer trust on customer loyalty at Tasya Bag Wholesale in Kampung Pajak. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. The population in this study is all customers of Tas Tasya Wholesale, with sampling techniques using accidental sampling methods. Data were collected through questionnaire deployment and analyzed using multiple linear regression with the help of t-test, F-test, and coefficient of determination (R²). The results of the study show that partial service quality, digital promotion, price, and consumer trust have a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty. Simultaneously, these four variables also have a significant effect on customer loyalty. The consumer trust variable has the most dominant influence in increasing customer loyalty. The value of the determination coefficient indicates that customer loyalty can be explained substantially by the quality of service, digital promotions, price, and consumer trust, while the rest is influenced by other factors outside of the study. This study concludes that improving service quality, optimizing digital promotions, setting competitive prices, and building consumer trust are effective strategies to increase customer loyalty in Wholesale Tasya Bags in Tax Villages.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the direct and indirect effects of impulsivity, promotional exposure, and product variety on impulsive clothing purchase decisions through positive emotions. The population consisted of female students at the Indonesia School of Economics (STIESIA) Surabaya. The sampling technique employed was purposive sampling, resulting in a total of 97 respondents. Data were collected using a questionnaire and analyzed using the Partial Least Squares (PLS) method. The results indicate that impulsivity, promotional exposure, product variety, and positive emotions each have a significant effect on impulsive clothing purchase decisions. Product variety has a significant effect on positive emotions, whereas impulsivity and promotional exposure do not significantly affect positive emotions. Furthermore, the findings reveal that positive emotions do not mediate the relationship between impulsivity and impulsive clothing purchase decisions, nor do they mediate the relationship between promotional exposure and impulsive clothing purchase decisions. However, positive emotions do mediate the relationship between product variety and impulsive clothing purchase decisions.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the comparison of Human Resource Management implementation at the domestic and international levels by looking at the organizational culture through case studies of Indomaret and 7-Eleven retail companies. Different cultural contexts, operational sizes, and managerial approaches are crucial elements that influence the design and implementation of HRM policies in both companies. This study uses a literature review method with a comparative case study approach, taking secondary data from academic journals, reference books, and official company documents. The scope of the study covers practices in recruitment and selection, training and development programs, performance appraisals, and reward systems related to organizational cultural values. The results of this study indicate that the human resource management approach applied at Indomaret as a domestic retail company tends to focus on internal stability, compliance with existing procedures, and uniformity in work behavior. This reflects a hierarchical and collective organizational culture. In contrast, 7-Eleven, an international retail company, adopts more flexible and responsive HRM practices by combining international standards with adjustments to local culture. This study states that organizational culture plays an important role in creating differences between human resource management practices at the domestic and international levels and is a major factor in achieving organizational effectiveness.

Abstract

MSMEs in Jember Regency face sustainability challenges amid fierce competition and lack of digitalization. This research aims to analyze the influence of human resource quality, product innovation, and marketing strategies on the sustainability of MSME businesses through information technology mediation. Using an explanatory research approach with the population of Jember MSME actors, samples were taken through probability sampling and analyzed with Structural Equation Modeling-PLS via SmartPLS. The results show that all independent variables have a positive and significant effect on business sustainability, both directly and indirectly through effective information technology mediation. The model explains the variation in sustainability well, confirming the crucial role of the quality of competent human resources, creative product innovation, and adaptive marketing strategies in driving the adoption of e-commerce and digital marketing. The findings support a consistent literature while filling research gaps from previous contradictory studies. The practical implications of recommending digital HR training through PLUT KUMKM Jember, Canva-based innovation workshops, and TikTok live selling strategies; theoretically suggests the development of a hybrid TAM-DOI model for the context of East Java MSMEs for sustainable transformation

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of brand trust and brand image on Generation Z’s purchasing decisions regarding Pinkflash products on Shopee, following the 2024 BPOM issue. This study integrates these two variables within the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) framework in the context of the cosmetic regulatory crisis in Indonesian e-commerce, a topic that has received limited research attention. The research employs a quantitative approach with a causal design. Data were collected via a questionnaire from 130 Generation Z respondents in Cirebon who had previously purchased Pinkflash products on Shopee and were aware of the 2024 BPOM issue and were subsequently analyzed using SEM-PLS. The results indicate that brand trust and brand image each have a positive and significant influence on purchase decisions, both in partial and simultaneous effects. Practically, cosmetic companies and e-commerce platforms are advised to enhance transparency regarding BPOM certification and product safety communication to maintain Generation Z consumers’ trust amid the regulatory crisis. This study contributes theoretically by integrating brand trust and brand image into the TPB framework within the context of a post-regulatory crisis in Indonesian e-commerce.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of service quality and promotion on Instagram on the public’s decision-making regarding hospital selection in West Java. In the era of digital transformation, hospitals are required to optimize modern communication strategies to maintain their presence amid intense competition in the healthcare industry. The research method used was a quantitative survey with a cross-sectional approach. Data were collected through a structured questionnaire administered to 200 respondents residing in West Java using purposive sampling. Data analysis employed multiple linear regression using SPSS software. The results indicate that, simultaneously, service quality and Instagram promotion significantly influence public decision-making by 70.9%. Partially, service quality has a more dominant influence than Instagram promotion in determining public decisions. These findings indicate that while visual content and digital interactions are important for attracting interest, patient trust remains rooted in the excellence of physical and medical services. It is recommended that hospital management integrate high-quality service standards with educational digital marketing strategies to strengthen competitiveness in the healthcare services market.
