Abstract

Determination of the marriage age limit through Law No. 16 of 2019 reflects progressive steps in protecting children's rights and preventing the negative impacts of early marriage. This study aims to analyze the relevance of maqashid sharia in supporting this policy, especially in maintaining the five main principles: protection of religion (hifz al-din), soul (hifz al-nafs), reason (hifz al-'aql), descendants (hifz al-nasl), and property (hifz al-mal). With a normative approach and qualitative analysis of Islamic legal literature and related legal documents, this research reveals that a higher marriage age limit is in line with the Sharia goal of ensuring the welfare of individuals and society. Apart from that, the implementation of Law No. 16 of 2019 is faced with challenges, such as cultural resistance and lack of legal awareness, which require educational strategies and strengthening regulations. This study provides practical recommendations for policy makers to align maqashid sharia with the implementation of the law, to support quality and sustainable family development.

Abstract

Violations of moral norms often have significant social impacts, one of which is marriage which is carried out as a form of resolving moral conflicts in society. This article aims to analyze marriage due to violations of moral norms in Pematang Siantar City based on the perspective of Islamic law and positive law in Indonesia. In Islamic law, marriage is often considered a solution to normalize social relations after the occurrence of a violation, although there are requirements and principles that must be met. Meanwhile, positive law in Indonesia emphasizes the formal legality aspect and does not explicitly regulate the obligation to marry in such situations. This study also discusses various social implications that arise as a result of this phenomenon, such as social pressure on the individuals involved, as well as its impact on household stability. Using a normative-juridical approach, this article reviews how the two legal systems view this phenomenon, as well as providing an overview of the integration efforts between religious, legal, and cultural values in resolving this problem. The results of the analysis show that a comprehensive approach is needed to handle marriage cases due to violations of moral norms, in order to ensure justice for all parties involved.

Abstract

Environmental accounting, namely green accounting, is accounting for the cost of the environment and it is reported in financial statements. Its cost is recognized as the obligation of the company to the environment. This study aims to: a) calculate the company's profit by deducting revenue with cost including environmental costs, and b) estimate the amount of potential profit resulting from waste processing to produce products with economic value. The research was a case study by collecting data from a chicken house company (RPA) that Hajjah Ani in Makassar owned. Data collection such as estimated sales value and waste processing costs were collected through interviews and observations in this company and then compared with those estimated sales and environmental costs from several slaughterhouse companies around Makassar. Researchers calculated the estimated profit of three alternative processed products: fertilizer, food products, and animal feed. The results showed that each alternative product has different potential in increasing profits from the lowest level of 2% to the highest level of 25% which is compared to the previous profit.

Abstract

Competition in the beverage industry is getting tighter, especially in tea drinks. One of the popular teas often included in the ranks of the top brand index is poci tea. However, there is a decrease in the tea percentage, indicating a decline in consumer satisfaction. This research aims to assess the impact of price variables on consumer satisfaction, mediated by product and brand image intervening variables. Data analysis is conducted using SEM (Structural Equation Modeling). The findings indicate no direct impact from price (X) on consumer satisfaction(Y3). Price (X) has a significant effect on the product variable (Y1) with a probability of 0.023, product (Y1) has a significant impact on the brand image variable (Y2) with a probability of 0.012, brand image (Y2) has a significant effect on consumer satisfaction variable (Y3) with a probability of 0.044.
