Abstract

The profitability of companies in the pharmaceutical and health research sectors listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) plays an important role in supporting economic growth and meeting public health needs. Various factors, such as the presence of female commissioners who bring different perspectives in strategic decision-making, the level of cash holding as an indicator of liquidity, and leverage as a reflection of the capital structure, are believed to affect the company's profitability. This study aims to analyze the influence of female commissioners, cash holding, and leverage on the profitability of pharmaceutical and health research sub-sector companies on the IDX in the 2019-2023 period, both individually and simultaneously. This study uses a quantitative method, the population in this study is companies included in the pharmaceutical and health research sub-sectors listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the 2019-2023 period. A sample of the study was taken from all companies in the population that met certain criteria. The DKP variable had an insignificant negative influence on profitability with a significance value of 0.3694 (greater than 0.05). The CH variable also had an insignificant positive influence, with a significance value of 0.2101. Meanwhile, the DER variable showed a positive and significant influence on profitability with a significance value of 0.0133 (less than 0.05), which showed that the increase in DER had a real effect on increasing the company's profitability. The DKP and CH variables had an insignificant influence on profitability, as the significance value was greater than 0.05, although it showed a negative relationship for DKP and a positive relationship for CH. Meanwhile, the DER variable has a significant positive influence on profitability, because the significance value is less than 0.05, indicating that increasing DER can increase the company's profitability.

Abstract

Efficient water distribution is essential for public service, and PT XYZ faces significant challenges in its new customer installation process. The process, which involves several steps, experiences delays and inefficiencies that affect service quality. The research focuses on time waste during the customer installation process. Various forms of waste, such as delays, unnecessary movements, and redundant actions, lead to suboptimal service delivery. The aim is to identify sources of time waste and apply Lean Service principles to eliminate inefficiencies, thereby improving the customer installation process and enhancing overall service delivery. The study utilizes Lean Service tools, particularly Value Stream Mapping (VSM) and Process Cycle Efficiency (PCE) analysis, to assess the time spent on various activities within the installation process. Root cause analysis was conducted using Fishbone diagrams and the 5Whys method. The results from the current value stream mapping revealed that the total lead time for the process was 17.708 minutes, with value-added time of only 253 minutes, resulting in a Process Cycle Efficiency (PCE) of 1,4%. After improvements were implemented, the future value stream mapping showed a reduction in lead time to 14.828 minutes and an increase in value-added time to 253 minutes, improving the PCE to 1,7%. These improvements indicate better operational efficiency and resource optimization.

The research is conducted in the city of Cirebon. This research adopts a quantitative approach employing a survey method administered to residents of Cirebon City falling within the millennial generation category, i.e., individuals born between 1981 and 1996. The focal points of this study encompass financial literacy, income, lifestyle, and investment decisions. The sample size for this research is set at 100 respondents, determined through the employment of judgment sampling. The analysis employed in this study is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM), facilitated by the Smart PLS 3 computer program. The findings of this research reveal that both financial literacy and income exert an influence on the respondents' lifestyle. Additionally, financial literacy, income, and lifestyle collectively impact the investment decisions made by the respondents.

Abstract

The basic objective of this study is to investigate, via the prism of organisational commitment, the connection between Religious Charismatic leadership and employee engagement. In order to find out how the research variables were related to each other, this quantitative study used AMOS-SEM, a data analysis tool. A positive and statistically significant effect of religious charismatic leadership on staff engagement was found. Organisational commitment acts as a robust mediator between Religious Charismatic leadership and workforce engagement. This research of human resource management at KSPPS BMT NU Kabupaten Lamongan provides a new perspective as a case study.

Abstract

The impact of disagreement on productivity, absenteeism, and employee turnover were investigated in this study. Quantitative methods were employed in this descriptive survey investigation. Research participants were chosen at random from a stratified population. We utilised IBM SPSS version 22 to generate the results for discussion, and the instrument was a questionnaire. Employee performance is negatively affected by disagreement, which leads to frequent absence, low production, and turnover, according to the study. Conflicts in the workplace have a substantial impact on productivity, absenteeism, and attrition, which has important leadership implications. Understanding and resolving the unique conflicts that each individual encounters is essential. Organisational leaders should ensure that positions are designed suitably for people to avoid duplication of effort and promote harmonious collaboration. They can use this to strengthen their bonds with coworkers. Organisational conflicts arising from relationships, tasks, and interpersonal dynamics will decrease as a result. Conflict and its negative effects on both employees and the company can be lessened in this way as well. There doesn't seem to be any literature on the topic of conflict at Ghanaian universities. In contrast to previous research, this one uses mechanical Corporation in Palembang as a case study to analyse the correlation between conflict and performance metrics including productivity, absenteeism, and turnover.

Abstract

Before and under COVID-19, government-affiliated firms kept Indonesia's economy stable and under control. Indonesia and other countries have been struck hard by COVID-19, which has accelerated governmental and commercial sector digitisation. In the face of the pandemic's rapid digitalisation, SOEs must expand and improve to accomplish their goals. This research will examine how technostress, perceived organisational support (POS), total reward systems (TRS), and work-life balance (WLB) affect job performance through employee well-being. State-owned enterprise personnel will be studied. This quantitative study examines the dependent variable's direct and indirect impacts using Structural Equation Modelling (SEM). The majority of research participants are from 263 government-affiliated entities. The study found that employee well-being modulates the association between perceived organisational support and work performance. The results demonstrate that SOEs must involve all generations, especially millennials and Gen Z, to improve job performance. The paper states that employee well-being is the complete mediator between the factors and job performance. Organisations should continually encourage employees and make them feel valued. This is crucial for Generation Y and Z, who will run the company.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of green marketing on the purchase intention of green fashion, using the brand “Sejauh Mata Memandang” as a case study. The research focuses on three main green marketing strategies: green advertising, green branding, and eco-labeling, as well as the role of consumer perception in green consumption. The research method employs a quantitative approach with purposive sampling, involving 247 respondents who are aware of and understand environmentally friendly fashion products from the brand. Data analysis was conducted using the Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method. The results show that green advertising, green branding, and eco-labeling have a positive and significant influence on consumer perception. Furthermore, consumer perception also has a positive and significant impact on green consumption. These findings indicate that effective green marketing strategies can enhance positive consumer perceptions and encourage the purchase behavior of sustainable fashion products. The implications of this study provide strategic insights for fashion companies in developing environmentally friendly marketing approaches that can stimulate consumer purchase intention.
