Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine how work-life balance, workload, and job stress affect turnover intention among Generation Z employees at PT Ruifeng Hande Indonesia. Generation Z is known to have high expectations of work-life balance, but is also more vulnerable to work stress and pressure, which can increase their intention to change jobs. The research method used is quantitative with a multiple linear regression approach. The results showed that work stress has a significant effect on turnover intention, while work-life balance and workload do not have a significant effect. This finding indicates that job stress is the main factor that drives Generation Z to leave the company, while work-life balance and workload may be influenced by other factors such as job satisfaction or compensation. The results of this study have an important impact on company management in designing policies that can improve employee welfare and reduce turnover. One way to do this is by creating a more flexible work environment and managing workload more effectively.

Abstract

This study was conducted to evaluate the extent to which financial performance plays a role in the stock price movements of technology sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the period 2021 to 2023. In this study, Return on Assets (ROA), Earning Per Share (EPS), and Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) were used as independent variables, while stock prices were used as tied variables. The research method used is a quantitative approach with the application of multiple linear regression analysis, using the help of SPSS software version 27. Research data was obtained from 22 companies selected through the purposive sampling method, resulting in a total of 66 observational data in a span of three years. The findings of this study reveal that ROA and EPS have a significant impact on stock price changes, showing that solid financial performance is a particular attraction for investors. In contrast, DERs have no real influence on stock prices, which shows that investors in the technology sector tend to pay less attention to debt ratios when considering their investment decisions. This research provides practical implications for companies and investors. Companies are advised to improve operational efficiency to increase ROA and EPS, while investors can use both ratios as indicators in investment decision-making. This research also opens up opportunities for further studies in exploring other external factors that can affect stock price fluctuations in technology companies.

Abstract

This study examines the impact of pressure, opportunity, rationalization, and capability as defined by the Fraud Diamond Theory Wolfe & Hermanson, 2004 on fraudulent financial reporting indicators in energy sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) from 2019 to 2023. A quantitative approach employing multiple linear regression was adopted. Secondary data were extracted from annual financial statements published on the IDX website. Pressure was proxied by the debt-to-assets ratio, opportunity by a corporate governance index, rationalization by audit opinion, and capability by changes in the board of directors. Fraudulent reporting was identified using the Beneish M-Score model. The sample comprised 52 companies selected via purposive sampling based on predefined criteria. Opportunity and rationalization exhibited a statistically significant positive relationship with financial statement fraud. In contrast, pressure and capability showed no significant effect. This study validates the Fraud Diamond Theory in Indonesia’s energy sector, highlighting corporate governance and auditor oversight as critical fraud predictors. It offers empirical evidence for regulators to prioritize governance reforms and audit transparency over conventional leverage-based risk assessments.

Abstract

This study examines the impact of Good Corporate Governance on financial performance, considering the role of earnings management as a mediating variable. Good Corporate Governance works to increase transparency and accountability, and reduce information asymmetry, both of which can impact a company's financial performance. This research is expected to add to the literature on the relationship between Good Corporate Governance, earnings management, and financial performance. Quantitative research methods are used in this study. The data used in this study are secondary data taken from the company's annual financial statements. The analytical tool used in this research is Partial Least Squares (PLS). The population in this study is a State-Owned Enterprise company listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange from 2020 to 2023. The results of this study indicate that Good Corporate Governance affects Financial Performance, but it does not affect earnings management. Conversely, Earnings Management affects Financial Performance, and it does not mediate the effect of Good Corporate Governance on Financial Performance.

Abstract

This research explores how competence, training, and self-efficacy influence the growth expectations of widyaiswara, with affective commitment serving as a moderating variable in institutions that have adopted talent management practices. Data were collected via Google Forms containing statements related to each of the studied variables. The sample consisted of 100 widyaiswara respondents. Data analysis was conducted using SmartPLS 4.0, employing the PLS method for hypothesis testing, which involved two stages: evaluation of the outer model and the inner model. The findings indicate that competence does not have a significant effect on growth expectations. In contrast, both training and self-efficacy show a significant positive impact. Additionally, the moderating role of affective commitment does not influence the relationship between competence and growth expectations, but it significantly strengthens the effect of training on growth expectations.
