Abstract

Noise pollution is an unseen threat. It cannot be seen, although it is present both on land and beneath the water. Any undesired or irritating sound that impacts the health and well-being of humans and other organisms is referred to as noise pollution. It is harmful to human health. According to WHO, more than 70 decibels of sound will be harmful to health. The average noise level in Kathmandu was 66.8 decibels (A), with high-traffic zones producing the most noise, followed by commercial, low-traffic, and residential zones. The main objective of this review paper is to identify the effect of noise pollution on human health. It is a review article. There are different kinds of effects explored in the previous studies such as hearing loss, sleep disruption, cardiovascular disease, social handicaps, reduced productivity, bad social behavior, irritation reactions, absenteeism, and accidents. Noise pollution is a significant problem in Nepal, particularly in Kathmandu. The studies suggest that the enforcement of noise standards and No Horn Regulation can be effective in reducing noise pollution. However, more efforts are needed to monitor and enforce these regulations. Noise pollution can cause a variety of health problems, and it is essential to take measures to reduce it to protect public health.

Abstract

In this research, I examined the results of the feasibility of the method and process for developing French language teaching materials for Passé Composé using APPYPIE at SMAN 7 Binjai. The research and development method uses the ADDIE model developed by Dick and Carry (2005). The ADDIE model uses 5 development stages as follows: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation. This research focuses on developing holiday material books at APPYPIE, so the research is limited to the development stage which includes: analysis, design and development. In the first stage of analysis there are two steps, namely needs analysis, then explaining each answer to each question and concluding. Then, the second main actor is the researcher who plans class equipment based on the RPS. This planning is carried out by selecting learning materials according to those listed in the RPP based on the results of interviews conducted with French language subject teachers. the second stage is the design stage. At this stage the researcher has designed material to introduce someone to other people. The material is arranged sequentially, starting from descriptions, indicators, basic skills, objectives and benefits of holiday material for others, final assignment, writing practice and a summary of the material that is easy to understand. In the third stage is development, at this stage the researcher explains the hardware in French that has been developed, explains the use of applications with this hardware and carries out the final mission. This research analysis uses a descriptive quantitative percentage approach. The feasibility results show that the educational material developed is in the "good" category with a score of 80%, and the final validation result is that the media developed is better and more relevant than with a score of 90%. which means good and can be used in French. holiday-themed language learning process. Application support can also be used to improve written production in the classroom learning process

Tuberculosis (TB) is an infectious disease caused by the bacterium Mycobacterium tuberculosis which infects about 10 million people causing the death of 1.3 million people worldwide, making it one of the environmental-based diseases that is still a public health problem. This situation was closely related to environmental factors, clean and healthy living behavior, and also the virus itself. Type of research was an analytic observational study, with a case control design where the population of this study was all pulmonary tuberculosis patients who are recorded in the tuberculosis registration book at the Somambawa community Health Center starting from January 2022 - June 2022 with a sample of 28 cases and 28 controls. Determining the influence of physical environmental factors and habits of patients with the incidence of tuberculosis. The data obtained were grouped based on the characteristics and risk factors for the incidence of tuberculosis which were analyzed univariately and bivariately using the Chi Square test at a 95% confidence level. The results showed that the humidity variable obtained p = 0.001 and OR = 0.10, temperature with p = 0.044 and OR = 0.162, occupancy density p = 0.006 and OR = 0.163, and the behavior of opening and closing windows p = 0.012 and OR = 0.188. It can be concluded that humidity, temperature, population density, and behavior of opening and closing windows have an influence on the incidence of tuberculosis in the working area of the Somambawa community health center, Somambawa sub district, Nias Selatan district in 2022. It is hoped that they can try to be independent in improving healthy houses by being able to be more routine in opening and closing windows, maintaining cleanliness, and being able to try independently in realizing healthy homes so that they can break the chain of spread of pulmonary tuberculosis.

Abstract

Methodology in scientific research is essential. Each science has its own object, and different methodologies cause and result in different perceptions. Science is human life, however, science becomes metaphysical theory because it is conditioned by the methodology of philosophy or mathematics. Philosophy and mathematics are theoretical sciences, which makes the related sciences dream, ideal, and science fantasy. The helplessness of science becomes man's misfortune, science becomes alien to man. True science begins with real people living, that is human science. Human science becomes the methodology in the study of related sciences. When studying the outside world, people uphold the principles of objectivity, comprehensiveness, development, specific history, and research practice. When studying life, the perceived object begins to die from the real person, in the process, people always create possibilities and needs. The transformation between abilities, needs means and goals makes life rich and diverse. Humans are both subjects and objects of scientific research. The interdisciplinary sciences have in common that they take human activities as research objects.
