Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of the floating raft aquaponic system with different types of plants on water quality in cultivation of tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) and to obtain plants that are very good for maintaining water stability. This study used a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 4 treatments and 3 replications. The parameters tested in this research were phosphate, pH, temperature and DO, with treatments K (control), A (water spinach plants), B (pakchoi plants) and C (lettuce plants). The difference in aquaponic system plants in tilapia (O. niloticus) cultivation had a significant effect on pH and DO. Water spinach plants (Ipomoea reptans poir) were the best plants in maintaining water quality with phosphate values in H56 of 1.41 mg/L, pH 8.51, temperature 25.7°C and DO 8.23 mg/L.

Abstract

Finding out how return on equity and the current ratio impact stock prices is the aim of this research. The profitability and liquidity ratios, as determined by the current ratio and return on equity, respectively, are the study's independent variables, while the stock price is its dependent variable. A quantitative research approach is used in this investigation. The population and sample for the research were drawn from the 2013–2022 annual financial analysis report of PT Adaro Energy Indonesia Tbk. Descriptive statistical tests, multiple linear regression analysis, coefficient of determination tests, conventional assumption tests (autocorrelation, heteroscedasticity, multicollinearity, and normality tests), and hypothesis tests (T-tests and F-tests) are among the data analysis methods that are performed using the IBM SPSS Statistic Version 26 software. The study's findings indicate that although return on equity has a significant influence on stock price, the current ratio has no effect at all. At the same time, stock price are significantly impacted by the current ratio and return on equity. According to the results of the coefficient of determination test, the dependent variable stock price is explained by the current ratio and return on equity in 89.1% of cases, with the remaining 10.9% resulting from variables not included in this study. The R square value is 0.891.

Abstract

This research explores the strategies implemented by school principals in improving teacher professionalism in public junior high schools in Jambi Province. The study focuses on identifying key factors that influence the success of professional development programs, examining the role of school leadership, and addressing the challenges faced in the implementation of these strategies. The findings indicate that the strategies employed by principals, such as structured planning, the establishment of learning communities, and motivational leadership, have had a positive impact on teacher engagement and professional growth. However, challenges such as varying teacher competencies, limited technological resources, and inconsistent participation in professional development programs persist, hindering the full potential of these strategies. School principals, particularly in schools such as SMP Negeri 6 Sungai Penuh, SMP Negeri 8 Muaro Jambi, and SMP Negeri 7 Tanjung Jabung Timur, play a critical role in fostering an environment conducive to teacher development through motivation, constructive feedback, and collaborative efforts. The study suggests that improving mentoring programs, enhancing technological infrastructure, and providing flexible training schedules can address the existing barriers. These findings contribute to the growing body of knowledge on the effectiveness of leadership strategies in improving teacher professionalism and have implications for future educational reforms in Jambi Province and beyond.

Abstract

This research examines the perceptions of Generation Z in Ahmedabad on Netflix subscription plans, particularly on key factors that guide their decisions on subscribing to the platform. The research utilizes hypothesis testing to evaluate variables such as affordability, localized content, promotional offers, peer influence, and user experience. Findings show that students and young professionals are highly associated with affordability as a key consideration. The study also highlights the prominence of localized content, which postulates that culturally relevant programs increase the appeal of viewing on Netflix in regional markets. Promotion and peer influence are also influences, highlighting social validation in addition to the use of targeted discounts as a motivational factor for subscriptions. Despite weak associations with factors such as binge-watching and user-friendly interface, research shows that an overall approach to include affordability, cultural relevance, and positive user experiences is what would attract and retain Generation Z subscribers. Implications would then spread to marketing strategies and content development targeting improvement in engagement with the group. Future studies should be extended to comparative studies with other OTT platforms, broader demographic insights, and the impact of economic and technological shifts on consumer behavior. These findings contribute to a deeper understanding of digital consumption patterns and strategic approaches in the OTT industry.
Tolerance in the Perspective of Surah Al-Kafirun Azhar

Abstract

This research discusses focusing on Surah Al-Kafirun and hadis which are relevant in the context of religious tolerance. This surah (Al-Kafirun) was revealed in response to the polytheists' offer to the Prophet Muhammad Saw to alternately worship Allah and their gods, highlighting the importance of the principle of oneness in Islam. Currently, there is disharmony between non-Islamic and Muslim communities, particularly regarding the term "kafir," which is often perceived as discrediting those outside of Islam. Several of Mufassir, such as Al-Tabari, state that these verses were addressed to the leaders of the polytheists, while Al-Razi emphasizes that the Prophet did not permit his followers to commit disbelief, as he was sent to guide his people towards goodness. This research is a library study that examines verses and hadis as well as literature from various mufassir that are relevant in the Quran and hadis, particularly in the context of Surah Al-Kafirun. The author argues that the term "kafir," meaning "closed heart," is more appropriate than "non-Muslim," which translates to "not safe." Through this analysis, the author hopes to demonstrate that although the term carries negative connotations, every closed heart has the potential to open through Allah's guidance. This creates hope for building better tolerance among religious communities, promoting dialogue and deeper understanding.
