Abstract

Natural disasters are events that arise due to careless human actions. Natural disasters such as floods cause a lot of material or psychological losses. Floods often cause people to lose their homes, livelihoods, and even cause trauma due to the loss of family members. So we must prevent floods from occurring in order to achieve a safe and peaceful life. In this research, a Sound Sensor was used as a detection tool combined with the Arduino Water Level System so that the movement of water flow can be seen, especially in areas that are prone to flooding. The results of this research showed that there was a low scale with a small sound on the red light, then there was a medium scale with a medium sound on the green light, and also a high scale with a large sound on the blue light.

Abstract

Bonsai plants, with their distinctive beauty and aesthetic value, have become an attraction for plant lovers in Indonesia. However, proper maintenance, especially watering, can be a challenge for many bonsai owners. In an effort to facilitate more efficient and effective maintenance, this research aims to develop an affordable and accessible soil moisture sensor-based automatic watering system. The research method includes an in-depth literature review of existing soil moisture sensor technologies and the growth characteristics of bonsai plants. Next, we designed and built a prototype watering system that can monitor soil moisture levels and automatically water bonsai plants according to their needs. Initial test results show that the system is able to maintain optimal soil conditions for bonsai plant growth. The system is also equipped with programming capabilities that allow users to customize the watering schedule according to their personal preferences. This research aims to provide a practical solution for bonsai plant lovers in Indonesia who want to maintain proper soil conditions for the growth of their plants, while minimizing the costs required for an automated watering system. This paper is expected to make a positive contribution to the maintenance of bonsai plants and serve as a guide for those interested in developing similar systems in the context of urban agriculture in Indonesia.

Abstract

With the rapid growth of vehicles, improving road safety has become a necessity. Ultrasonic sensors provide an effective and efficient solution for measuring distance on vehicles, which can be implemented to improve traffic safety. Therefore, we need a system that can detect the distance between vehicles to make it safer. One way to detect a vehicle's safe distance is to use an ultrasonic sensor. An ultrasonic sensor is a tool that can detect a safe distance to a vehicle. This system is designed as an integration between Arduino Uno, ultrasonic sensors, and data processing algorithms. The Arduino Uno program was developed to control ultrasonic sensors, read distance data, and send alerts if potential risks are found. The implementation of the ultrasonic sensor on the Arduino Uno succeeded in proving its ability to detect safe distances between vehicles with high accuracy. By using the right algorithm, the system can provide early warning when a potential risk of collision is detected. Test results show a fast and reliable response from the system This research confirms the effectiveness of Arduino Uno-based ultrasonic sensors in improving traffic safety by detecting safe distances between vehicles.

Abstract

Implementation of a Security System with Laser Sensors and Arduino Nano as Main Control is an innovation that combines laser sensor technology with Arduino Nano control intelligence to increase the security level of a certain area. This system is designed to detect unwanted intrusion or penetration using strategically installed laser sensors. Laser sensors function as perimeter monitors, measuring and monitoring changes in light caused by the movement of surrounding objects. The information obtained from the laser sensor is then transmitted to the Arduino Nano as the main control. The Arduino Nano acts as the brain of the system, analyzing data received from laser sensors and making decisions based on pre-programmed security algorithms. In an intrusion detection situation, the Arduino Nano will activate a user-defined security response, such as activating an alarm, sending a notification to the user's device, or connecting to a broader security system. This system provides a security solution that is smart, responsive, and can be integrated with other systems. The implementation of this security system with laser sensors and Arduino Nano can be implemented in various environments, including homes, offices,or industrial areas that require additional layers of security. The advantage of this system lies in its ability to detect movement with high accuracy and respond quickly, providing effective protection against potential security threats.

Abstract

This study delves into the intricate relationship between law and neuroethics, critically examining the evolving paradigm of justice in light of advancements in neurosciences and decision-making technologies. As neuroscientific technologies provide unprecedented insights into the human mind, integrating neuroscientific evidence into legal frameworks poses challenges and opportunities. Critiquing current approaches highlights limitations within existing legal systems and ethical considerations, necessitating careful reforms and adaptations. Ethical critiques by scholars and ethicists prompt reevaluating the intersection between law and neuroethics. Proposed reforms include strategies for integrating neuroethics into legal frameworks and legislative changes to address emerging ethical complexities. The discussion extends to critical areas for future research, emphasizing the need to identify unresolved questions and encourage interdisciplinary collaboration. The implications for the future underscore a shift towards a legal landscape that prioritizes ethical considerations in using neuroscientific evidence.

Abstract

Rehabilitation is one of the government's efforts to handle abuse of narcotics, that the implementation of rehabilitation in efforts to handle narcotics abuse can be done in two ways, namely social rehabilitation which is an integrated process of recovery activities, both physical, mental, and social. Drug abuse is a case that is increasing day by day increasing, both in terms of quantity and quality. It is which cannot be taken lightly because most cases of drug abuse it is found in young people, the next generation of the nation. Hijrah Door Foundation is one of the social rehabilitation places in Banda Aceh with using Islamic therapy. Clients who were rehabilitated there came from various Districts/Cities in Aceh and now it has returned to families and communities. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the rehabilitation of drug dependent clients at the Pintu Hijrah Banda Foundation aceh. This research is a qualitative descriptive research. Data obtained by observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the research are the implementation of these 12 steps carried out for 6 months has been effective because of the programs provided during rehabilitation, the targets were set, the satisfaction was high given to make the client live a normal life and be accepted back inside society and no longer tempted to consume drugs. It also makes The Pintu Hijrah Foundation is a recommendation for drug rehabilitation in Aceh.

Abstract

Since 2021, the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (Kemdikbudristek) of the Republic of Indonesia has implemented an independent curriculum for all levels of education in stages. The policy for implementing this curriculum, actually not much has changed from the previous curriculum (2013 curriculum). However, specifically Vocational High Schools (SMK) through the Directorate General of Vocational Education are directed at implementing the project-based learning model (PjBL) or teaching factory (tefa) in implementing the accelerated curriculum after Covid-19. Implementing this project-based learning model requires the right strategy in its implementation, plandaoresh is one of them. The aim of this study is to find out the comparison of learning outcomes for Technical Drawing subjects that apply the plandoresh strategy with other strategies. The research subjects were two groups of class XII students with machining engineering skills competency, each numbering 36 students. The research results show a significant comparison between the implementation of the plandoresh strategy and the non-plandoresh strategy with a significance figure of α < 0.05 (0.000 < 0.005) and t count > t table (5.839 > 2.021).
