Abstract

Orchids are popular ornamental plants known for their beautiful flowers and limitless varieties. In addition to choosing the right growing medium, orchid care to support their growth also requires nutrients, one of which is growth regulators. Tissue culture is a propagation technique that can rapidly multiply orchid plants in large quantities. The research method involves a literature review by analyzing several relevant articles. The literature review discusses topics such as explant contamination, growing media, and growth regulators in orchid plants. Based on the research findings, the moth orchid (Phalaenopsis) can thrive and grow well in both VW (Vacin and Went) and MS (Murashige and Skoog) growing media. Meanwhile, the use of MS medium with the addition of the growth regulator BAP (Benzyl Adenine Purine) in black orchids has an impact on shoot multiplication

Phenomenology is a form of qualitative research that focuses on the study of an individual’s lived experiences. So, we can learn from the experiences of others. This research is aimed at answering the question of how universities equip their students with soft skills before taking part in internships and what complaints there are from companies regarding the quality of students who take part in internships at their companies. Data collection was carried out using semi-structured interviews to HRD managers and university students who have taken internship program. This research proves that there are still many students who do not have soft skills consisting of intrapersonal and interpersonal communication, so they receive many complaints from companies or government institutions. For this reason, strengthening students' soft skills needs to be optimized during pre-internship training.

Abstract

The increase in Hajj costs for Indonesian Hajj pilgrims has generated various kinds of controversy. One side believes that this policy must be implemented because the exchange rate is unstable which causes accommodation costs to rise, transportation costs to rise, and other service costs to rise. However, on the other hand, they believe that this policy was implemented in a hurry and was not socialized first, which could cause the congregation to default and fail to leave, forcing them to leave in debt, and denying the congregation other basic needs, thus reducing their purchasing power. This research is qualitative research with a descriptive approach. The data used in this research is secondary data that researchers obtained from websites, scientific articles, books and other reliable sources. The data was analyzed using the stages of data collection, data selection, data reduction, data analysis using the SWOT method, and drawing conclusions.

This study delves into integrating social media into religious education, examining its advantages, complexities, and far-reaching implications. We used a mixed-methods research design to survey and interviewed educators, students, and administrators across diverse religious education settings. Quantitative analysis revealed that 70% of participants acknowledged heightened student engagement through social media, while 62% recognized its positive impact on learning outcomes. However, 45% expressed concerns about ethical considerations, and 55% found the integration challenging. Qualitative insights unveiled a rich tapestry of community building and collaborative learning juxtaposed with challenges related to online etiquette and the digital divide. The study contributes to the field by validating the positive outcomes of social media integration in religious education while emphasizing unique ethical considerations. Limitations include the potential for response bias and a focus on a specific timeframe. Recommendations for future research include longitudinal studies and comparative analyses across religious traditions. In conclusion, this research illuminates the complex interplay of technology, ethics, and tradition in religious education, offering insights for educators, policymakers, and researchers navigating this dynamic landscape.

Abstract

This research delves into the multifaceted landscape of religious moderation in Indonesia, specifically examining the initiatives undertaken by both the government and community organizations to foster tolerance among diverse religious communities. Indonesia, renowned for its rich religious diversity, faces the dual challenge of celebrating its Islamic heritage while ensuring inclusivity for minority religious groups. Against this backdrop, our study employs a mixed-methods approach, combining qualitative, in-depth interviews, surveys, and case studies to gain comprehensive insights. The qualitative arm involves interviews with key stakeholders, including government officials, religious leaders, and community representatives. These interviews aim to uncover the lived experiences, challenges, and successes in fostering religious moderation. Complementing this, surveys provide quantitative data, gauging public perceptions and the effectiveness of existing initiatives. Diverse case studies contribute contextual depth, offering a nuanced understanding of specific instances. Sampling techniques ensure representation from various religious communities and regions, fostering inclusivity in data collection. Ethical considerations, including informed consent and ethical review, underpin our commitment to respecting participants' rights. The analysis incorporates quantitative and qualitative approaches, employing statistical tools and thematic analysis to discern patterns and insights. This research aims to contribute to Indonesia's ongoing discourse on religious harmony by elucidating the dynamic interplay between government policies and grassroots efforts.
