Abstract

Microcontrollers play a vital role in managing patient data systems within hospital environments, including at Kisaran General Hospital. A microcontroller-based data management system facilitates the automation of patient data recording and processing in real time, enhancing both accuracy and efficiency. This study aims to analyze the performance of microcontrollers in a patient data system by evaluating parameters such as processing speed, data accuracy, and system stability. The implementation involves an Arduino Uno microcontroller integrated with sensors and data processing software. Experimental results demonstrate the system's ability to process patient data quickly and accurately, contributing to the operational efficiency of the hospital. These findings highlight the potential of microcontroller technology as a modern solution for patient data management in healthcare settings.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology has introduced new challenges in IT project management. Microcontrollers, typically used in hardware systems, offer innovative solutions to address these challenges. This article aims to explore the role of microcontrollers in IT project management information systems, focusing on task automation, real-time data collection, and IoT device management. The research examines the application of microcontrollers in optimizing efficiency and accuracy in managing digital projects. Key findings indicate that microcontrollers can significantly enhance monitoring, control, and analysis of projects, providing better insights for project managers in making strategic decisions. In conclusion, microcontrollers offer effective modern solutions to current digital project challenges.

Abstract

It is Application hoped that this PKL student management application can provide significant benefits for all relevant stakeholders. By reducing the administrative burden, this application allows the management of street vendors to be more structured and efficient. The existence of a progress monitoring and reporting system also has the potential to improve the quality of PKL implementation by providing a more in-depth view of student activities. In addition, collaborative communication facilities in the application can enrich students' experiences in interacting with supervisors and fellow students, as well as support better practical learning. In conclusion, the development of this PKL student management application is an important step in increasing the effectiveness and efficiency of the PKL process at the South Kalimantan Province Diskominfo. With a focus on integration, transparency and better communication, this application has the potential to optimize the student experience during PKL and facilitate more organized management. The broader implications of this research could also impact the development of similar solutions in various educational institutions and other industries.

Abstract

Learning discrete mathematics, particularly on the topic of equivalence in propositional logic using propositional algebra laws, often presents challenges for students due to its abstract nature and the logical thinking skills required. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of using ChatGPT as a learning aid to enhance students' understanding of this topic. The research employed a quantitative method with a post-test only control group design, involving two groups of students: an experimental group using ChatGPT and a control group utilizing conventional learning methods. Data were collected through a post-learning achievement test. The results showed that the average score of the experimental group (85.47) was significantly higher than that of the control group (66.78). The independent t-test results yielded a significance value of < 0.05, indicating a significant difference in learning outcomes between the two groups. Furthermore, the calculation of Cohen's d showed a value of 0.959, categorized as a large effect size. These findings indicate that the use of ChatGPT as a learning aid has a significant impact on students' learning outcomes. With its interactive and responsive features, ChatGPT helps students grasp complex propositional logic material more easily. This study recommends utilizing AI-based technologies like ChatGPT as an innovative learning strategy, particularly for abstract topics in discrete mathematics.

Abstract

This study aims to test the effectiveness of deep learning-based contextual learning strategies in improving the ability of SMK Profta Bandung students to analyze negotiation texts. Deep learning-based learning focuses on deep understanding, active student engagement, and the development of critical thinking skills in real-life relevant learning contexts. The research method used is Classroom Action Research (PTK) which involves two cycles, with the stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subject of the study was grade X AKL students of SMK Profita Bandung with a total of 30 students. Data was collected through text analysis tests, observation of student activities, and interviews. The results of the study show that the application of deep learning-based contextual learning strategies is able to significantly improve students' understanding of the structure and content of negotiation texts. In the first cycle, the average student score reached 72, increasing to 85 in the second cycle. In addition, student involvement in learning also increased, indicated by active participation in discussions and collaborative task completion. This study concludes that the deep learning-based contextual learning approach is effective in improving the negotiation text analysis ability of vocational school students. This approach also builds critical thinking skills and the relevance of learning to students' real-life experiences.

Abstract

Gangguan pada tidur adalah suatu kondisi yang ditandai dengan adanya gangguan pada kuantitas, kualitas, dan atau durasi tidur. Gangguan tidur yang umum terjadi adalah insomnia dan sleep apnea. Jika tidak ditangani, insomnia maupun sleep apnea dapat menjadi kronis dan mengakibatkan terkena gejala penyakit yang lebih serius lainnya seperti hipertensi, depresi, penurunan fisik dan juga fungsi fital yang dapat menyebabkan komplikasi penyakit lainnya. Dengan adanya sebuah sistem yang dapat membantu prediksi diagnosis gangguan tidur akan membantu mengetahui gangguan tidur yang diderita dan dapat ditangani dengan segera. Proses prediksi dilakukan menggunakan metode klasifikasi algoritma Naïve Bayes Gaussian. Berdasarkan pengujian data training dan data uji didapatkan akurasi sebesar 85,3%. Hal tersebut membuktikan bahwa klasifikasi menggunakan algoritma Naïve Bayes Gaussian tergolong baik untuk memprediksi gangguan tidur.

Abstract

This research is based on the fact that the ICT learning process still uses conventional methods and a lack of interesting learning media, resulting in students having difficulty understanding the material presented by the teacher. The aim of this research is to develop and test the feasibility of learning media using Lumio By Smart in ICT subjects for class VII students at SMP Negeri 37 Samarinda. The type of research used is development research with the ADDIE development model. Data collection techniques used observation, interview and questionnaire methods. The data analysis techniques used are qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis. The research subjects involved were 3 media experts, 1 material expert and 26 students. The results of the research showed that learning media products using Lumio By Smart were declared very suitable for use, as evidenced by the feasibility test of learning media by material experts, an average score of 4.23 was obtained in the Very Appropriate category, by media experts an average score of 12 was obtained. 82 in the Very Appropriate category, according to student assessment an average score of 116.30 was obtained in the Very Appropriate category, and the assessment from all validators obtained an average score of 39.97 in the Very Appropriate category

Abstract

Travel insurance provides financial protection for individuals during their trips, both domestically and internationally. With the increasing demand for travel insurance, insurance companies face challenges in efficiently managing claims. This study aims to develop a predictive model to classify whether an insurance policy will be claimed based on historical customer and transaction data. This research utilizes a dataset containing various features related to travel and policyholders, such as agent type, distribution channel, insurance product, travel duration, and premium amount. The methods used include data exploration, feature processing, and the application of machine learning algorithms such as Logistic Regression, Random Forest, and XGBoost. Experimental results indicate that the XGBoost model performs the best, achieving the highest accuracy compared to other models. With this predictive model, insurance companies can optimize claim evaluation processes, reduce fraud risks, and improve operational efficiency in handling travel insurance claims.

Abstract

Anemia is a condition of reduced red blood cells in the body lower than the normal amount, or what is commonly referred to as erythrocytes in the blood circulation or hemoglobin so that it is unable to fulfill its function as an oxygen carrier to all body tissues. An expert system is a system designed to mimic the experience of an expert in answering questions and solving problems. By using an expert system, a non-expert can solve problems and make decisions that would normally be made by an expert. Expert systems are now being developed in various fields, expert systems in the health sector are widely developed to detect various diseases with various methods. The fuzzy mamdani method is a method that is also often known as the MAX-MIN or MAX-PRODUCT method. The fuzzy mamdani method can help users in terms of detecting diseases based on symptoms that arise and lifestyle and provide diagnostic results for further action. Based on the description above, it can be seen that the fuzzy method is one method that has been widely used in software development for the diagnosis of a disease. Modeling this expert system to determine anemia based on the symptoms felt by patients.

Abstract

The fashion world greatly influences the lifestyle of Indonesian people, because people are more interested in paying attention to the appearance they wear. One of the fashion products that is currently developing in Indonesia is Visval. The purpose of this study was to measure Instagram content, consumer purchasing decisions for Visval products on Instagram followers @Visval, and to test the effect of Instagram content for Visval bags on purchasing decisions on Instagram followers @Visval. The theories used in this study are Instagram content theory (Miles 2019: 125-130) and purchasing decision theory (Kotler & Armstrong 2018: 176-177). This study uses a quantitative approach, the method used is the survey method. The population in the study was 161 who were in accordance with the characteristics. The number of samples in this study was 115 respondents, the data collection technique was carried out by distributing questionnaires. Sampling using simple random sampling. The results of this study are that the first Instagram content is quite high with an average value of 3.50 and the second is that the purchasing decision is quite high with an average value of 3.58 and the third is that the influence of Visval bag Instagram content on purchasing decisions has an influence of 58.6%, while the remaining 41.4% is influenced by other factors.
