Abstract

The aim of this research is to design and build an online marriage registration service information system at the KUA Tinggi Raja District using the CodeIgniter framework which can support or facilitate marriage registration at the KUA Tinggi Raja District. The research method used in this research is a qualitative method with the waterfall system development method. The applications created are designed using Unified Modeling Language (UML) including Use Case Diagrams, Activity Diagrams, Sequence Diagrams, and Class Diagrams. The software used in designing this application uses the PHP programming language, XAMPP as the web server, MySQL as the database. The result of this search is an application for the Tinggi Raja Regency KUA Online Marriage Registration Service so that this application can support the Telluwanua Regency KUA Online Marriage Registration Service. The application was tested using the black box test method and results were obtained without program errors, while for questionnaire testing using usability the results were very in line with the score, namely utilization of 96%. Hopefully this application can help online marriage registration services at the KUA Tinggi Raja District.

Abstract

Attendance information system has an important role in improving the efficiency and accuracy of attendance recording in various institutions, including Bandar Pulau Police Station, which until now still uses manual methods. This research aims to develop a technology-based attendance information system to facilitate attendance data management, reduce recording errors, and speed up report generation. The research was conducted using qualitative method through observation, interview, and literature study. The results showed that the attendance system at Bandar Pulau Police Station was still done manually by recording in a book, which slowed down the data recording process. The research recommends a computer-based attendance information system to simplify the management of personal attendance data. The system design includes use case diagram and interface design, including login menu, attendance data input, and attendance report. The main objective is to develop a system that is more practical, efficient, and facilitates the attendance administration process within the police sector.

Abstract

The development of photography technology and the need for digital marketing have encouraged photographers to utilize online media as a promotional tool. This research aims to plan the development of a Content Management System (CMS)-based portfolio website for photography businesses using the User-Centered Design (UCD) approach. The UCD approach ensures that the website design meets the needs of users through iterative stages, including needs analysis, prototype design, and evaluation. The results show that the designed website is able to fulfill the main user needs, such as easy-to-update photo galleries, informative service pages, and responsive contact forms. WordPress CMS was chosen due to its ease of use and design flexibility. With the implementation of UCD, the user satisfaction score increased from 70% to 90%. However, improved security features are recommended to prevent unauthorized access to the photo gallery. This research contributes to the development of efficient digital media to improve the competitiveness of photography businesses in the digital era.

Abstract

Islamic boarding schools (pondok pesantren) play a crucial role as educational institutions in shaping the character and academic quality of students. However, financial management in these institutions, especially in handling student funds, often faces challenges such as manual record-keeping, transparency issues, and process inefficiency. Therefore, this study aims to design a Smart System as a technological solution for managing student finances at Pondok Modern Daarul Abror. This system is expected to enhance financial administrative efficiency, improve recording accuracy, and provide easy access to financial information for students and the school management. The research methods used include needs analysis, system design, and system testing. The findings indicate that implementing a smart financial system in Islamic boarding schools not only accelerates administrative processes but also increases financial transparency, thus supporting efforts to improve the quality of services and education in the school.

Abstract

Every organization must have problems, problems that often arise in organizations are disharmonious relationships between leaders and their members, or between fellow members. This problem is caused by interference barriers in organizational communication. All organizational activities will run in accordance with their respective duties and functions if communication takes place effectively in all lines of the organization. Conversely, failure to foster effective and harmonious communication will hamper the implementation of tasks in the organization. Without communication there is no coordination, and without coordination there will be overlapping work, confusion of information, and misunderstanding in interpreting and carrying out organizational tasks. Organizational leaders are the spearhead of the organization to create comfort, bring motivation, and foster loyalty to the organization. every organization must apply the principles of public relations and human relations in order to build effective communication quality.

Abstract

An expert system is a computer program designed to imitate the decision-making abilities of an expert in a particular field, combining knowledge and rules obtained from experts to diagnose problems, provide advice, or make complex decisions, especially in computer LAN network disruptions, so this is needed application of an expert system for troubleshooting computer LAN networks for users which supports the diagnosis process using the certainty factor method, with an explanation of the certainty factor which has a concept based on symptoms and diagnosis from the weight of an expert's value and the user's value, then calculated using the formula in CF, the final result is the creation website-based computer LAN network troubleshooting expert system.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the framing in the editorial text of detik.com regarding the article titled "Buntut Panjang Olokan ‘Goblok’ Gus Miftah ke Penjual Es Teh" using Robert N. Entman's framing model. The research focuses on how the editorial presents the issue, the selection of certain aspects of the story, and the implications of these choices on public perception. By employing Entman's framework, the study identifies the key elements of framing, including problem definition, causal interpretation, moral evaluation, and treatment recommendations. The findings reveal how the editorial shapes the narrative around the incident, influencing readers' understanding and attitudes towards the involved parties.

Abstract

National Sports Week (PON) is the biggest sporting event in Indonesia, which brings together the best athletes from all provinces. In 2024, it will be the 21st PON which will take place in Aceh and North Sumatra. This research aims to analyze the framing of the editorial reporting on the Aceh-North Sumatra National Sports Week (PON) from two national media, namely Media Indonesia.com and Kompas.id using Robert Entman's framing analysis model. This analysis was carried out to find out how the two media frame the issue, highlight certain aspects, and their impact on readers. Based on research, it was found that the two media have different approaches in framing the 2024 Aceh-North Sumatra PON.

Abstract

Inventory control is a crucial element in supporting the smooth production process in manufacturing companies. PT Bonecom Tricom, a producer of automotive spare parts, faces challenges in managing SPP-C05 Black plastic pellets due to inaccurate estimation methods, resulting in material accumulation in storage. This study aims to propose inventory planning using time series and min-max methods to optimize material requirements. The results show that the Holt-Winter's Multiplicative method provides the best forecasting accuracy with the lowest error rate (MAPE) of 2%. Furthermore, implementing the min-max method can reduce inventory costs by 14.245%. This study is expected to serve as a reference for companies to manage material inventory more effectively and efficiently.

Abstract

The Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) is a humanitarian organization that is important in providing public services. This research analyzes the role of PMI Public Relations in conveying information to the public. Through interviews with three sources, namely Headquarters Public Relations, Blood Donor Unit Public Relations, and PMI Clinic Public Relations, and using observation, interview, and documentation methods, this study identified the role of PMI Public Relations as an expert advisor, communication facilitator, problem-solving process facilitator, and technician. Communication. These various roles help PMI Public Relations maintain a positive image of the organization, and strengthen relationships with the community while providing solutions to problems that arise, ultimately increasing public trust in PMI services.
