Abstract

As businesses increasingly adopt Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems for improved performance, challenges associated with the implementation of Mandarin-language ERP software in a manufacturing company in Batam, Indonesia, have garnered significant attention. Using a qualitative research approach, this study conducted in-depth interviews with 27 employees familiar with the Mandarin-based ERP system. Thematic analysis was employed to understand the implications of language barriers and their impact on user performance. The research highlights key factors influencing the usability of Mandarin-language ERP systems, providing valuable insights for companies facing similar multilingual implementation challenges. The analysis emphasizes the crucial role of internal factors, including management involvement, commitment, training, and IT skills, in the successful implementation of Mandarin-language ERP systems. These findings serve as a practical guide for companies seeking to optimize internal processes and strengthen technological capabilities, facilitating smooth integration and utilization of ERP systems.

Abstract

Currently, the pace of development of information technology is very rapid. Information technology is very necessary in human life. One of the functions of information systems technology is to help or encourage human work to be more efficient and productive. Information systems development includes various methods and platforms. Platforms that can be used in developing information systems are mobile, web or desktop platforms. This research aims to identify a web-based information system development model. The method used in this research is the Extreme Programming method. The Extreme Programming software development method aims to improve software quality and meet the ever-changing needs of users. In this era of rapid development of information technology, the existence of information system technology has become very crucial in human life. Information system development includes various methods and platforms, such as mobile, web or desktop platforms. This research has a specific aim, namely identifying a web-based information system development model. In this context, the method chosen to use is the Extreme Programming (XP) method. XP's approach to software development is designed to improve software quality and respond to the dynamics of changing user needs.

Abstract

Student achievement is one of the important factors in the success of students in the future. Student achievement in higher education is generally measured by the Grade Point Average (GPA). Decision Support System has concept "The system is a collection of interrelated elements that are responsible for processing input (input) so as to produce output (output)” . The Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method is known as the weighted addition method. The basic concept in the SAW method is to find the weighted sum of the performance ratings on each alternative in all attributes. In the method of collecting data through this questionnaire, the authors obtained data in the form of IPS, GPA, Achievements, Attendance, and SKS. This data collection was carried out at institute XYZ, in the Information Systems study program, with a total of 42 students. The research method is basically a scientific way to obtain information with a specific purpose and use. The research method is the method used by researchers in collecting research data

Abstract

This research aims to measure Smart City readiness using the SNI ISO 37122:2019 standard. This research uses quantitative methods to collect data and analyze Smart City readiness. The data collected includes indicators set out in the SNI ISO 37122:2019 standard. The results of this research can be used as a guide for the government and stakeholders in developing and improving Smart Cities.

Abstract

In this study, a systematic literature review that focuses on the application of the UML method in designing a New Student Admission Information System. Where in this study raised problems experienced by several schools that still use the old system (manual) in operating activities in schools, one of which is the flow of new student admissions. So that it produces performance that is not effective and efficient and has an unfavourable impact on the school. Therefore, the need for tools in modelling in designing academic processes in schools, namely by using UML (Unified Modeling Language). UML is a standard language used to model, design, and document software systems. The types of diagrams used in UML are Use Case Diagrams, Class Diagrams, Activity Diagrams, and Sequence Diagrams which can help in modeling the flow of new student admissions. The results of the literature review that has been carried out, it can be concluded that using UML in modeling in designing academic processes in schools has a positive impact and makes it easier to present better and more up-to-date information.

Abstract

Creation of a special account on social media Instagram and Twitter that aims to accommodate the delivery of questions, input, criticism and suggestions from stakeholders around the ongoing business processes and the use of applications in the framework of budget planning, commitment making, disbursement of the state budget, accounting receipts and financial reporting based on the fact that social media cannot be separated from community activities because the presence of digital devices (smartphones) and affordable internet access makes various groups of people able to obtain information quickly and easily. Organizations have an interest in getting benchmarks for services that have been provided in order to improve the quality of services going forward based on tweets data obtained from Twitter social media. This study discusses the process of collecting and processing tweet data on the @haiDJPb account in order to perform stakeholder sentiment analysis of haiDJPb services on twitter social media using Support Vector Machine and Naïve Bayes algorithms and the accuracy of the Support Vector Machine algorithm is 74.55 % and 77.18% for the Naïve Bayes algorithm.

Abstract

Skincare adalah rangkaian dari berbagai macam penerapan yang mendukung keadaan intergrasi kulit. Pada tiga peringkat besar skincare dengan penjualan terbanyak Nature Republic menempati posisi kedua. Nature Republic merupakan salah satu skincare yang digemari oleh konsumen kalangan remaja. Nature Republic mempunyai official store pada Shopee Indonesia dan Tokopedia sehingga konsumen Nature Republic memilih melakukan pembelian melalui mobile platform e-commerce yaitu Shopee Indonesia dan Tokopedia. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Online Customer Review dan Online Customer Rating Terhadap Keputusan Pembelian Nature Republic dalam E-Commerce Shopee Indonesia dan Tokopedia. Metode dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian deskriptif dan verifikatif. Penentuan sampel menggunakan rumus Taro Yamane dan perolehannya sebanyak 100 responden dengan teknik nonprobability sampling dan metode purposive sampling. Responden dalam penelitian ini adalah masyarakat Kota Bandung. Penelitian ini menggunakan program SPSS 20 yang bertujuan untuk mengukur pengaruh online customer review dan online customer rating terhadap keputusan pembelian serta menggunakan Uji Hipotesis t dan F untuk mengetahui secara parsial dan simultan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa online customer review berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian dan online customer rating berpengaruh positif dan tidak signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian. Serta online customer review dan online customer rating berpengaruh secara simultan terhadap keputusan pembelian.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a comprehensive understanding of the platfroms and methods used in developing Geographic Information Systems (GIS) in Indonesia. Methods of Systematic Literature Analysis are involved to identify commonly used platforms, design method, and development method for GIS development. The data used came from journals published between 2018 and 2023, 82 pieces of literature were found from Publish or Perish and Google Scholar. The research results show that Waterfall method is the most widely used for development method as many as 25 journals use this method, for design method UML (Unified Modeling Language) is the most often used in total 52 journals using this method, and the platforms that are most frequently used or popular in the last 5 years in GIS development in Indonesia is Web-based as many as 54 out of 82 journals that we reviewed. This article provides valuable insights for practitioners, researchers, and decision makers who are interested in developing and utilizing GIS in Indonesia

Abstract

Segmentasi merupakan teknik pada pengolahan citra digital yang memfokuskan pada pembagian objek ke dalam beberapa bagian dan pemisahan antara region (objek) dengan latar belakang. Dalam konteks ini, Ada tiga jenis karakteristik gambar yang signifikan, yaitu titik, garis, dan tepi. Segmentasi citra sendiri dapat dikelompokkan menjadi tiga kategori utama, yaitu identifikasi objek, identifikasi semantik, dan identifikasi instan.. Pada penelitian ini, fokusnya adalah pada segmentasi pemain bola menggunakan pendekatan deep learning, khususnya dengan metode Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) dan arsitektur U-Net. CNN merupakan salah satu metode neural network pada deep learning dan machine learning yang baik dalam hal akurasi pada pengenalan citra, sedangkan U-Net biasa Digunakan pada segmentasi citra yang berjenis semantik. Segmentasi semantik, adalah citra yang dibagi menjadi kategori objek dan bukan objek. Proses segmentasi pemain bola melibatkan tahap encoder dan decoder citra sebelum dimanfaatkan dalam proses pelatihan model, tahap pengujian melibatkan penerapan model CNN-U-Net untuk melakukan klasifikasi citra, menghasilkan. yang terdiri dari 11 kelas yaitu Bilah Gawang, Wasit, Iklan, Lapangan, Bola, Pelatih & Ofisial, Penonton, Kiper A, Kiper B, Tim A, dan Tim B Output tersebut akan dievaluasi dengan menghitung akurasi untuk memastikan performa model.

Abstract

Information system development is currently experiencing rapid growth involving various platforms such as mobile, web and desktop. This often causes confusion in choosing the appropriate platform because each has advantages and disadvantages. This research aims to analyze the waterfall method model in information system development using data from various related journals. The method applied in this research is Systematic Literature Review (SLR), which is used to collect data from a number of relevant studies. The waterfall method offers a clear and organized structure, which makes project management and documentation easier. Thus, the waterfall method is the right choice in situations where project needs and specifications can be predicted from the start. Additionally, waterfall allows each stage to be completed before moving on to the next, minimizing the risk of changes during the development process. The research results show that the waterfall method is suitable for use both for new system creation projects and for large-scale system or software development.
