Abstract

This study aims to describe the role of educational psychology in addressing mental health challenges in education and to identify intervention strategies implemented by teachers, counselors, and educational psychologists to support students' psychological well-being. The research method used was qualitative with a phenomenological approach. Data were obtained through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation studies with informants consisting of teachers, school counselors, educational psychologists, and students. Data analysis was carried out through the stages of reduction, presentation, and drawing conclusions using thematic analysis techniques. The results of the study indicate that educational psychology plays a crucial role in early detection of mental health problems, providing interventions in the form of counseling and mentoring, and creating a more psychologically friendly school climate. The main obstacles in the application of educational psychology are limited counselor staff, minimal teacher training, and stigma regarding mental health issues. Nevertheless, the application of educational psychology principles has been shown to have a positive impact on learning motivation, emotional regulation, and the creation of a psychologically healthy learning environment.

Abstract

Character education is an important pillar in the implementation of the Independent Curriculum to shape students with integrity, responsibility, and high empathy. One approach considered in line with this spirit is the humanistic approach, which positions students as active subjects in the learning process. This study aims to test the effectiveness of the humanistic approach in improving five indicators of student character: empathy, responsibility, independence, honesty, and cooperation. The research method used was quantitative with a quasi-experimental design of the non-equivalent control group design, involving 60 junior high school students from two different schools. Data analysis techniques used an independent t-test and effect size calculation. The results showed that the group learning with the humanistic approach experienced significant character improvement compared to the control group, with a significance value of p = 0.000 and an effect size of 1.52. The discussion shows that the humanistic approach is effective in creating a reflective, empathetic learning climate and encouraging the internalization of values. The conclusion of this study states that the humanistic approach is an appropriate strategy in strengthening character education, in line with the objectives of the Independent Curriculum.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the roles of teachers, students, and technology in building effective collaborative learning. Using descriptive qualitative research methods, data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation with teachers and students in a school environment that has implemented collaboration-based learning. The results show that teachers act as facilitators, motivators, and directors, students play an active role in discussions and collaboration, while technology functions as an interactive medium that expands the learning space. Factors supporting collaboration include teacher pedagogical competence, student motivation, an open learning culture, and technological infrastructure support. The main obstacles are limited access to technology, low digital literacy, and differences in student engagement levels. Overall, the collaboration of these three elements has been proven to increase engagement, motivation, and learning effectiveness, while also emphasizing the need for an adaptive collaboration model in the digital era.

Abstract

Digital transformation post-COVID-19 pandemic has accelerated the adoption of cloud computing technology to support hybrid work models that demand high flexibility, virtual collaboration, and cross-site employee mobility. This study aims to analyze the role of cloud computing technology in increasing work flexibility in the hybrid era through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach to the latest studies for the 2020–2025 period. The results of the analysis show that cloud computing contributes significantly to increasing work flexibility through three main mechanisms, namely providing real-time data and application access, facilitating cross-site collaboration through AI-based platforms, and scalability and resource elasticity capabilities that support cost efficiency and rapid response to changing business needs. Cloud implementations have also been proven to accelerate decision-making, increase team productivity, and strengthen organizational cohesion in a hybrid work environment. On the other hand, challenges such as data security and privacy issues, reliance on internet connectivity, and the complexity of integration with legacy systems remain major obstacles. These findings confirm that cloud computing is not only a supporting technology, but also a strategic enabler for organizations to create an adaptive and sustainable hybrid work ecosystem. This study recommends the implementation of hybrid or multi-cloud architecture, strengthening network infrastructure, and developing human resource capacity so that organizations are able to maximize the potential of cloud computing optimally.

Abstract

This study examines the importance of synergy between Islamic religious education (IRE) in schools and families in forming children's Islamic personality. Using a literature review approach, this research analyzes the role of families as the first educational institution, the function of schools in strengthening religious education, and effective synergy models between these two environments. The results show that families play a role in instilling values of faith, worship, and noble character through exemplary behavior, habituation, and supervision. Schools strengthen this foundation through integrated IRE curriculum, Islamic school culture, and teacher exemplary behavior. Effective synergy between families and schools includes routine communication, joint programs, parental involvement in school activities, and coordination in implementing Islamic values. The synergy model based on maqāṣid al-sharīʿah shows that active collaboration between families and schools contributes significantly to forming a complete Islamic personality. This research recommends the need for formal agreements between schools and families, continuous training for teachers and parents, and the development of comprehensive assessment instruments to measure the effectiveness of children's Islamic personality formation.

Abstract

Digital transformation in the secondary education sector has experienced significant acceleration with the adoption of Learning Management Systems (LMS) as the primary digital learning platform. This research aims to analyze the impact of LMS implementation, identify challenges faced, and explore effective adaptation strategies in secondary schools. The study employs a qualitative approach with document analysis and case studies from various LMS implementations in secondary schools in Indonesia and other countries. Data was collected through in-depth analysis of 25 previous studies discussing LMS implementation in secondary education contexts. Research findings indicate that LMS implementation provides significant positive impacts on improving teacher-student interaction, learning access flexibility, school management efficiency, and learning personalization. However, implementation faces major challenges including technological infrastructure limitations, digital literacy gaps, resistance to change, and budget constraints. Effective adaptation strategies include continuous teacher training, technological infrastructure strengthening, clear institutional policy development, and hybrid learning model adoption. AI technology integration in LMS and development of locally-based platforms emerge as current innovation trends. The research concludes that successful digital transformation through LMS requires a holistic approach integrating technology, pedagogy, and management aspects with comprehensive policy support.
