Abstract

This study explores the significance of Qur'anic memorization (tahfidzul Qur'an) in developing both academic and character aspects of students at SMP Ulumul Qur'an Pidie Jaya. Employing a qualitative approach, data were gathered through observation, interviews, and document analysis. The findings indicate that the tahfidz program is conducted within a religious boarding environment, integrated with both formal and religious curricula, and emphasizes intensive repetition (taqrir), simaan, muraja'ah, and halaqah. Supporting factors include a conducive environment, teacher support, adequate facilities, and religious motivation. The main constraints involve limited time due to a demanding academic schedule and low student motivation when driven solely by parental pressure. Consequently, the flexibility of memorization methods tailored to students' characteristics, supported by intensive collaboration between the school and the boarding facility, serves as the key to the successful implementation of the Qur'anic memorization program at SMP Ulumul Qur'an Pidie Jaya.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of a leadership system based on Asta Brata in character education at Taruna Mandara High School. Asta Brata Hindu philosophy that includes eight principles of leadership inspired by the attributes of the gods, such as justice (Surya Brata), gentleness (Candra Brata), and responsibility (Baruna Brata). The research method used is qualitative with a case study approach, involving observation, in-depth interviews, and document analysis. The results of the study indicate that the application of Asta Brata successfully formed the character of students who are disciplined, tolerant, have integrity, and have leadership. These values are internalized through personality training, character assessment, and the role model of educators. However, challenges such as differences in student backgrounds, lack of in-depth understanding of the philosophy Asta Brata, and the influence of the external environment hinders the optimization of this system. The implications of this study emphasize the importance of integrating local wisdom into modern education to build a generation that is not only academically intelligent but also has strong character. Recommendations include more intensive teacher training, more creative learning approaches, and strengthening collaboration between schools, families, and communities. Thus, Asta  Brata can be a model of relevant and sustainable character education in the era of globalization.

Abstract

Opportunities for MSMEs are indeed wide open with technological advances, but competition in business is increasingly competitive. One can observe that the food sector in Jambi Province is the highest business sector on the MSME scale, so this shows that competition will also be higher. Customer involvement  is considered to foster the intention of new consumers to make purchases, so customer engagement is an important thing to measure in the marketing concept. Food products are not only a business but also a consumer experience in shopping to consume or interact which can potentially increase sales through creating good consumer purchasing intentions. Measuring the intention to share in social commerce needs to be differentiated based on the purpose, namely social or commercial, so that we can further explore the factors of intention to create purchase intention in other consumers. The purpose of this research is to (1) To examine how much influence consumer engagement has on social sharing intentions and commercial sharing intentions directly on Snack Food MSMEs in Jambi Province on; (2) Examining how much influence social sharing intentions and commercial sharing intentions have on purchasing intentions among Snack Food MSMEs in Jambi Province; (3) Examining how much purchasing intentions are influenced by consumer engagement through social sharing intentions and commercial sharing intentions in Snack Food MSMEs in Jambi Province. This study employs Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) for data analysis, utilizing the SmartPLS software

Abstract

Children with special needs often face challenges in developing the social and emotional skills essential for healthy interactions in society. Various intervention approaches can be implemented to support their development, one of which is through the integration of structured and supportive activities. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of the AKSIT intervention in improving the social interaction of children with special needs in the Ainul Yakin Village, Gunung Kidul. The method used in this research is a qualitative approach with participatory observation, interviews, and documentation analysis. The AKSIT intervention involves three main components: (1) Sholat, which aims to develop children's discipline, cooperation, and spiritual calmness; (2) Kajian, which conveys social values such as empathy, responsibility, and cooperation; and (3) Piket, which involves children in household and cleaning tasks to increase their sense of responsibility and independence. The results showed that the integration of these three activities had a positive impact on improving children's social skills, including the ability to communicate, cooperate and build more harmonious relationships with peers and caregivers. The findings suggest that the AKSIT intervention can be an effective approach in developing the social and emotional skills of children with disabilities and facilitating their adaptation to wider social life. This study suggests the importance of continuing the AKSIT program in supporting the social development of children with disabilities in the cottage environment and the wider community.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of tax as the main source of financing national infrastructure development in Indonesia. Infrastructure has a vital role in driving economic growth, improving connectivity, and supporting public services. The research method used is a qualitative-descriptive approach with literature study as the main data collection technique. Data sources come from government reports, tax regulations, and scientific publications related to fiscal policy and infrastructure development. The results show that taxes, particularly income tax and value-added tax, contribute significantly to the State Budget (APBN) which is the basis for funding infrastructure projects. The government also utilizes fiscal policy instruments, such as tax incentives and earmarking, to support national strategic projects. Nonetheless, challenges in optimizing tax revenue such as taxpayer compliance and tax base broadening remain obstacles that need to be resolved in order for infrastructure development to be sustainable. This study concludes that improving the effectiveness of the tax system is crucial in strengthening the country's fiscal capacity to fund national infrastructure development in a sustainable manner.

Abstract

The global shift toward renewable energy is a crucial response to the climate crisis, yet it also brings ecological implications that are often overlooked. This study systematically examines the environmental impact of renewable energy infrastructures particularly solar, wind, hydro, and biomass on terrestrial and aquatic biodiversity. A total of ten peer-reviewed articles published between 2020 and 2025 were selected based on their relevance, methodological rigor, and ecological focus. The data were analyzed using a narrative-descriptive approach supported by manual thematic coding to identify recurring ecological patterns and mitigation strategies. The results indicate that solar farms contribute to habitat fragmentation and behavioral disturbances among birds and bats; wind turbines are linked to elevated mortality in flying species; and hydroelectric dams disrupt fish migration and reduce aquatic habitat quality. On the other hand, integrative technologies such as aquavoltaic systems and fish-friendly turbines demonstrate potential for minimizing ecological harm while meeting energy needs. This study contributes a synthesized understanding of how renewable energy infrastructures affect biodiversity across ecosystems and technological contexts. It highlights the importance of spatial planning, context-specific impact assessments, and ecosystem-based mitigation strategies. The findings are expected to inform policymakers, environmental planners, and industry stakeholders in designing renewable energy solutions that align with long-term ecological sustainability.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has a significant impact on children's behavior and habits in accessing information and entertainment, including reading. On the one hand, easy access to various digital reading resources is a great potential to improve reading literacy from an early age. But on the other hand, the presence of digital media also poses serious challenges to children's interest in reading due to competition with instant and visual entertainment content. This journal aims to examine effective strategies and approaches in fostering children's interest in reading in the digital era by developing early reading literacy. The method used is a Systematic Literature Review of various studies, scientific articles, and empirical data that discuss children's literacy, digital media use, and educational approaches that are adaptive to changing times. The results show that the integration of technology with creative reading learning methods, family and school support, and the availability of interesting and age-appropriate reading materials are key factors in shaping children's reading habits. In conclusion, fostering children's interest in reading in the digital era requires a multidisciplinary approach that synergizes education, technology, developmental psychology, and public policies that support a culture of literacy.
