Abstract

Low Contrast can cause low image quality and make it difficult for proper image analysis. One technique to improve image quality is to increase the lighting contrast. One method that is often used is histogram normalization, which can increase image contrast by balancing the distribution of pixels across a range of pixel values. The purpose of this research is to apply the histogram normalization method to images and compare the results before and after the normalization process. The images used in this study are self-made images and images from public databases. The results of the study show that normalized histograms can increase image contrast and improve low image quality due to inadequate lighting. Thus, histogram normalization can be used as a technique to improve image quality in various applications, including medical image processing, satellite image processing, and security surveillance.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to simplify the control of personal computer (PC) such as control pointer, keyboard control and make it easier to do the presentation by controlling the slide remotely using smartphone through wifi connections facility. The smartphone is a multimedia phone that combines PC functionality with microprocessor, memory, and built-in modem to produce smart smartphone gadgets. Problems that occur when performing a presentation such as PC control, control pointer and keyboard control for input should be close to the PC so it is less than optimal in explaining the material. The model used in implementing the use of Android Smartphone for PC control is a conceptual model consisting of several stages: potential and problems, data collection, system testing, test results, and system implementation or implementation. From the results of PC control research can be done by connecting the Smartphone with a PC via wifi network so that PC can be controlled remotely. PC control application is an application that can control PC remotely connected via wifi network connection. Benefits derived from this research make it easy to mengedalikan PC remotely such as facilitate in the percentage and control pointer and control Keyboard for input process.

Abstract

The poor cellular signal strength subscription is one of major problem faced by most of the sub-districts in the Lampung province. Poor cellular signal strength subscription has a side effect in Internet transmission data processes both of transmit mode (Tx) and receives mode (Rx). To solve the problem that has been presented, this research proposed a new approach by utilizing Internet Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) based on Cloud Computing to solve Internet data transmission problems. This research gets a conclusion that Cloud Computing-based Internet Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) can convert a massive transmission data packets and break it down to a small transmission packet that can be transmitted or received through GSM-EDGE signal level.

Abstract

Detecting breast cancer in early stage is not straightforward. This happens because biopsy test requires time to determine whether the type is benign or malignant. Data mining algorithm has been widely used to automate diagnosis of a disease. One of popular algorithms is nearest neighbor based because of its simplicity and low computation. However, too many features can cause low accuracy in nearest neighbor based models. In this research, nearest neighbor based with feature selection is developed to detect breast cancer.  Conventional k-Nearest Neighbor (KNN) and Multi Local Means k-Harmonic Nearest Neighbor have been chosen as nearest neighbor based models to experiment. The feature selection method used in this study is filter based, namely Correlation based, Information Gain, and ReliefF. The experimental result shows that the highest recall metric of MLM-KHNN and Information Gain is 94% with 5 features. In brief, MLM-KHNN algorithm with Information Gain can increase the recall of the prediction of breast cancer compared with the conventional K-NN algorithm and have been deployed into website using Streamlit such that the model can be used to detect breast cancer from chosen Wisconsin dataset features.

Abstract

Sistem informasi yang dibuat pada saat ini masih bersifat individu dengan akses gadget/ponsel, sehingga perlu dibuat sistem yang bisa diakses oleh publik. Khususnya kuliner, Hal tersebut bisa kita temui pada setiap sudut di berbagai tempat di kota Bandung. Tetapi untuk beberapa kalangan yang memakai kendaraan umum informasi tentang referensi  kuliner yang dapat dikunjungi dan iklan lainnya tidak terpublikasikan dengan baik. Hal ini sering mengakibatkan ketidakefisienan informasi iklan baik tentang kuliner dan iklan lainnya kepada penumpang pada setiap kendaraan umum di kota Bandung. Dari permasalahan diatas maka dibuat suatu sistem informasi kuliner pada sebuah kendaraan umum berbasis mini pc dengan raspberry pi sebagai media server berikut tampilan digitalnya.  Pada proyek akhir ini, akan dibuat suatu sistem pada rasberry pi yang dapat menginformasikan segala jenis iklan baik kuliner yang dilewati oleh kendaraan umum  agar lebih mempermudah penumpang mengetahui tempat kuliner yang mungkin dapat menjadi referensi untuk di kunjungi. Dengan di implementasikannya mini pc sebagai media server pada transportasi umum yang diuji selama 6 jam nonstop yang dapat otomatis memutarkan video atau iklan pada awal pertama raspberry pi dinyalakan  ini Sangat bermanfaat untuk Mempermudah penumpang mencari referensi Lokasi dan jenis kuliner yang akan dikunjungi melalui video yang ditampilkan.

Abstract

Mengonsumsi buah sangat dianjurkan karena mengandung vitamin, mineral, serta serat yang dibutuhkan oleh tubuh. Selain itu, ternyata buah-buahan dapat menjadi obat dan mencegah dari berbagai penyakit. Berdasarkan kajian riset secara empiris menunjukkan bahwa buah memiliki kandungan yang yang dapat menjadi obat bagi tubuh manusia. Akan tetapi, pengetahuan mengenai khasiat buah sebagai obat belum tersebar ke banyak orang. Buah-uahan yang berkhasiat obat dapat dikenali jika dilihat dari bentuk dan teksturnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan klasifikasi jenis buah berkhasiat obat menggunakan euclidean distance dengan ekstraksi ciri bentuk dan tekstur. Proses ekstraksi ciri dilakukan agar dapat mengidentifikasi informasi dari ciri-ciri yang terdapat pada sebuah citra. Ekstraksi ciri bentuk didapatkan berdasarkan nilai metric dan eccentricity. Untuk ekstraksi ciri tekstur digunakan Gray Level Co-occurence Matrix (GLCM). Sedangkan proses klasifikasi menggunakan euclidean distance yang memiliki fungsi sebagai penentu tingkat kemiripan dari beberapa citra berdasarkan jarak eucliedean. Berdasarkan evaluasi model dengan menggunakan uji akurasi memperlihatkan bahwa model yang dikembangkan memiliki tingkat akurasi mencapat 83,33%. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan model yang dikembangkan mampu melakukan klasifikasi dengan baik.

Abstract

ITGI (IT Governance Institute) states that the alignment of business strategy and IT organization is the key to realizing the benefits of IT for business. The large gap / gap between IT strategy and business strategy will have an impact on the organization's business performance, especially if the organization relies on IT in its business operations or making IT as one of its selling points. Unika Soegijapranata as one of the tertiary institutions sees IT as a mandatory requirement to build competence and capability in the context of competition in its area. The purpose of this study is to assess the alignment level of business and IT strategies at Soegijapranata Unika by using the Luftman SAMM (Strategic Alignment Maturity Model) model. This study uses data collection methods through questionnaires and interviews with University leaders and University IT Institution Leaders. Currently Unika Soegijapranata has a strategic alignment value that is at level 4 (Improved / Managed Process), where at level 4 institutions are said to have focused on investing in IT to win the competition.

Abstract

Database performance is one of the main components in supporting the sustainability of a system, in this case, STARS. In the system context, data will usually be collected into a database. Tied to the data collection process, this really affects the performance of a system as a whole, in this case when executing a query to get a return of the execution results, because the performance of the database itself will be affected by the amount of data available. One way to improve the performance of the database is to use the partition table concept. Thus, in this research a design and evaluation of the partition table will be carried out which will then be applied to the SWCU STARS database. This research focuses more on the use of vertical partitions and list partitions by utilizing PostgreSQL version 14. The stages used in this study. These stages include data collection, partition design, technical partition, testing and implementation. The results of this study indicate that partition tables have better performance than non-partition tables. Judging from some of the sql syntax, namely update, delete and select, while insert has poor performance for partition tables compared to non-partition tables

Abstract

The government through the Ministry of Environment and Forestry (KLHK) has created several flagship programs such as “PROPER” and “SPARING” which function as supervision and aim to encourage industry to comply with environmental regulations. In this program, industry players who fall into the predetermined criteria are required to report their industrial waste water online to the Ministry of Environment and Forestry. Perusahaan Gas Negara through its subsidiary PGN Solution is always obedient to report the remaining industrial waste to the Ministry of Environment and Forestry. However, the results of this report cannot be immediately known whether the results are good or not, this is because KLHK will only release and display the results of the analysis and reporting to its online system after some time.In order to immediately know the results of the analysis without having to wait for the results of the release from the Ministry of Environment and Forestry, we need a system that can store the data directly on the database server without interrupting the data which is also sent directly to the Ministry of Environment and Forestry. Making this system using the Waterfall method, C# language, Net Core Framework and PostgreSQL as a database and Reliance SCADA software as a medium for data retrieval. The implementation of this system will facilitate the analysis and decision-making process if residual waste data is found whose results may not be as good according to KLHK standards

Abstract

 PT. Astra International continues to develop into one of the leading group of companies in Indonesia. Currenty its manages six core business namely, automotive, financial, services, heavy equipment, mining, agro-business, infrastructure, logistics, and information techonology. In its operations can bring various impact on enviroment quality, such as the avalaibility of natural resources (water, energy and materials), waste generated in the form of solid, fluid, and air. Therefore ESR Division carry out an assessment of the subsidiary programs to minimize the impact. In this research using SAW method to support the decision making of individual decision, and Borda method to support the group decision making and to determine AGC Award recipient. The decision support system model proposed in this study has proven to solve problems that require individual or group decision-making processes.
